If the sun shines too brightly while she's sailing with Papa in the skiff, Caroline can shade her eyes with this pretty faux-straw bonnet, featuring pink fabric flowers and a striped ribbon that ties under her chin. She carries essentials in a colorful drawstring purse with her name woven into the pattern, and when she wants to pass the time and have fun, she plays with her little wooden top that really spins! Caroline's meet accessories consist of a bonnet, a purse/bag, and a wooden top. The drawstring bag is made of a very thick, embroidered material with her name across the top. The toy top is real wood and very well made. The bonnet is lovely, made of straw with ribbon and silk flower trim. I give all of the accessories a big A+!

LOVE her accessories. I'm not expert, but I think the quality of her bonnet is something. Make it bigger and you could put it on a child... Now there's a thought. You can actually play with her little top, which was more fun than I thought possible for such a simple toy. Her little purse reminds me of Felicity's, only better since it's big enough to hold her top and has her name on it. Just a beautiful set.

I am so pleased that Caroline has a good overall set of meet accessories- especially since this is the historical I will try and get all of what I like, within financial reason. I just wish there was a few more pieces, but the three pieces that did come with it are very high quality, I'm not too disappointed. I LOVE the bonnet the most but the satchel and the top are awesome also, especially when you read the first book.

My favorite item from Caroline's accessories is without a doubt her bonnet. It is so cute! If only I knew how to tie a proper bow... : Her drawstring bag is very nice, and her top fits perfectly inside it. The best part is that Caroline can hold the bag with the top in it and it doesn't slide off her arm! All three items have exceptional quality. Grade: A+

I hope to get this at christmas with my Caroline but my friend has it. I love the little hat (more then once it has 'slipped' in my pocket which she keep noticing). the top is adorable and the bag, though I think looks a little odd, is incredibly cute! Though sparse, at least these accesories have been done well unlike SOME historicals (cough) Marie Grace and Rebecca (cough cough)

Caroline's meet accessories are really well made. They consist of a flower bonnet, embroidered drawstring bag and wooden topper. Definitely a must-have set if you collect for Caroline. The drawstring bag is a great quality, and embroidered with Caroline's name and year. The wooden topper has a nice weight to it too and really works. My DD had a fun time playing with it. Close up of name and year: The straw bonnet is beautiful, high quality and so lovely on Caroline! Overall I give the set an A+

I thought I reviewed these already but shows what I know. Anyway I got these a few months ago for an AMAZING deal from a fellow board member. These are very high quality items, I was really pleased with the construction. I do wish something else had been included, maybe an embroidered hankie since Caroline likes to embroider (and she gave handkerchiefs away as gifts in one of her books), but it isn't too big of a deal. The bonnet is shaped like a poke bonnet from the time period, and usually this type of hat had a fabric covering over the crown (though not always), so it might have been nice for AG to have that detail. I do wish the ribbon covered the connection between the brim of the hat and the crown, but as it is it does not cover it. Even so it is still a very nice bonnet! It goes with several outfits - her meet, her work dress, and if you've made any version of the "Cool Cotton" dress from the paper dolls it goes with that too. I like the big pink flowers, they are really nice faux flowers, and the ties are long enough for a generous bow. The bag is very cute, I love how it has her name on it! It is a thick woven material which is kind of unusual for modern AG. It holds her top or the comb from her hairstyling set, and would probably hold other small things (not necessarily all at once though, lol). I kind of wish the top had had some green on it like described in the book for continuity sake, but Caroline's is blue and that looks good too. The top is surprisingly heavy and even my dad commented on how weighted it is, and how well it spins. It is fun to play with, and it's nice for Caroline to have a toy of her own since she doesn't have a doll. I give this set an A, and take off the + just for a few nitpicks. You won't be disappointed with the set!

This bonnet is so well constructed I am very impressed! I love these colors together, and I love that the ribbon is able to molded into a big bow. The top is so much fun. My daughters love spinning it, and it is high quality heavy wood. The purse I haven't used... I'm sure it's historically accurate, I just don't find it attractive. I do like that it is a nice size though.

Caroline's Accessories set is one of my favorites. It does disappoint that AG no longer includes coins, hankies, etc, but these Accessories are so nice that I don't mind as much. The bonnet is fantastic. It is made with good quality millinery braid and has gorgeous ribbon ties and flower details. The only fault I could find is that AG ties the ribbons, so they are a bit scrunched when you untie them. I'm sure pressing them will remedy this, but I think it would save some trouble if they weren't tied from the get-go. Her purse is made of thick fabric of a fun pattern, and even has her name and the date at the top. The top is smooth, and sized to fit Caroline's hand. The only issue with the top is accuracy of the color. The band is blue (whereas, it is green in the book), but this is negligible. Overall, I'd give this set an A.

This set nicely complements Caroline's meet dress. The green is a nice accent color. The quality is very high (love the top!) but I too wish there was a period-appropriate coin included.

I only have the top, but it is wood and well made and fits well into a doll's hand. I have all of my dolls share this toy.
