Camping Outfit (2001-2003)

Note: I only have the shirt, vest and shorts. This outfit also came with a pair of sandals and a yellow bandana.
Shirt: Love the soft waffle knit fabric! This shirt feels like it would be really comfortable. The firefly decal is cute. It would work well to layer under t-shirts. Grade: A
Vest: This feels like the real thing. It is a soft fleece. I love the rich purple color. The pockets are real. Grade: A
Shorts: They are made of a nylon fabric. The waist and bottom of each leg feature a drawstring-like elastic "belt" (you cannot undo the belt - see pictures). However at least on mine, the ones at the bottom of the short legs are not tight enough to fit snugly around the doll's legs (so the shorts might "bubble") - the shorts are still pretty loose. I think on the legs it is mainly there as decoration. There is also a mesh purple pocket on each leg that matches the color of the vest - again these pockets are real. These shorts fit really well and aren't tight on the dolls, and might even work for a boy doll if he doesn't mind the purple. Grade: A
Overall Grade: A - Solid outfit.
