This fall, the PWP is a pink fair isle cardigan sweater. It's $16 with a $50 purchase. It is well-made, with working buttonholes- no velcro to snag here! The buttonholes are a bit snug on the buttons, but I like that because then the buttons don't slip out during wear. The sweater also has a little American Girl tag on the wrist, pictured below. Grade: A

I got the sweater as a PWP from the Miami grand opening. I was very impressed with the real buttons. I was expecting the loose horror that was the old felt 1995/6 JLY jacket, and instead the buttons are nice and snug! ^.^ They were easy for an adult to button and unbutton, but I'm not sure if wee ones would have that easy of a time with them. Compared to the Coconut sweater that I saw on display in-store, this has a much finer thread and a tighter gauge, which makes it look a lot nicer and a lot more like a real girl's sweater. The classic pattern and fun colors mean it probably won't look weird and old-fashioned a decade or two from now--though it's kind of hard to judge that sort of thing. The headband is just as good quality and is really cute. It's hard to get headbands to look right on a doll with bangs, though. With the headband. And just for fun, with a hat and scarf I crocheted last year. This sweater gets the Doggie Seal of Approval, too--my miniature poodle, Angel, walked up while I was taking photos, sniffed Laci all over, then gave her a little wet doggy kiss on the cheek!

Here are a couple of pictures of the sweater mixed & matched with other AG items Sweater with a blue OG shirt, and the skort & boots from the I Like Your Style meet outfit Sweater with white AG tee, AGP exclusive pink skirt, and AG berry beach boots. My sister put the sweater with the flower tee and embroidered jeans from the Ready for Fun meet outfit. It looks so cute with that set too.

I was really impressed with the quality of this sweater, and the working buttons. My only complaint is that it's snug on a current doll; I wouldn't even try to put it on one of my linebacker PM girls. Here it is paired with the Sweet School dress. I think it would look cute with leggings as well.
