I received my loft bed yesterday after two months of waiting. Overall, I'm impressed.
Pardon my username being all over the pictures, but there have been an awful lot of bratty little girls who think its okay to steal others pictures and claim the item and the pictures are theirs and then post Youtube videos of their new AG items.

I took a lot of pictures, so bear with me.

The bed. The bed is made of wood and metal. The base is sturdy wood that has been painted purple. The railing is metal painted purple; the railing is screwed into the sides of the base of the bed. The bed can be a stand-alone piece if one does not wish to put the bed together.

The underside of the bed. The underside has two plastic pieces inlaid that the two base pieces "snap" into. Like the railing pieces they are screwed into the base of the bed.

The right side piece. The pillars are wood. The top piece that snaps in is made of plastic, as are the feet at the base of the piece. The desk is wood that has been painted white. There is a piece of cloth that is made of plush and has little pieces of elastic attached. Unfortunately, per some asinine US or Canadian law, it would appear that AG has to put one of its ginormous tags on the plush part. The green elastic bits hold the pieces of paper that come with this set and many more. There is also a little storage compartment at the base of the plush display with elastic that is made of plastic and is perfect for stowing small little things, like the pencils that come with this set.

The underside of the right piece, so you can see how it is constructed.

The top part that snaps in. This part is made of plastic.

The other piece. Again, the pillars are made of wood with plastic feet; the part that snaps in is plastic. The white backboard is made of wood. The shelves are made of wood and held up with metal pieces that match the metalwork on the bed. The storage compartment is completely plastic. The storage compartment has two doors that slide open and closed with ease.

Close-up of the storage compartment.

The part on the left piece that snaps into the base of the bed.

Other side of the left piece. The piece that holds the hooks is entirely plastic. The ladder steps are wood.

The bed assembled. The pieces seem to be able to snap in and out, so the bed can be taken apart fairly easily.

The chair. The chair is made entirely of metal and matches the metalwork on the bed and the shelves. It has a cushion that is tied to the chair. The cushion has one of the extra long tags.

The hamster, wheel, cage, and bowl. This entire set is made of plastic. The hamster is coated in something to make the little guy seem more furry than plastic. The cage lid does not stay on firm. The wheel really moves. The plastic water bottle is firmly affixed to the side of the cage.

Closer shot of hamster, wheel and bowl.

The rug is fairly thin and is green. It has another long tag. Not much to say here. Its similar to Julie's foot rug.

The lamp is entirely plastic. It does not work. The base includes a white blob where the light bulb should be. The orange part is coated with fabric that has been glued to the plastic lampshade.

The clock is made entirely of plastic. The hands can be moved around via a button on the back. It does not keep time and does not work.

Backside of the clock.

The trophy is entirely made of plastic. It has several pieces layered in to give it a more unique look. But its still plastic.

Backside of the trophy.

Books. This set comes with three books, as shown. All three are abridged, although
Charlotte's Web contains the first seven or so chapters of the book.
Harry the Dirty Dog and
Charlotte's Web are both hardcover.

Backsides of all three books.

Some of the papers that come with the book: a note from McKenna's mother, a pad of paper, a certificate, and a poster.

The elastic from the board where you can attach McKenna's posters.

Mirror. Mirror is plastic, entirely. Cute but plastic.

The backside of the mirror has a cute little pattern.

Ribbons and pencils. The pencils are one piece and entirely plastic but they look cute and mix well with all the other pens and pencils I have around here for my dolls. The ribbons are very realistic looking.

Backside of ribbons, plus the heart poster.

Bed with matress.

Bed with mattress and comforter. The comforter is purple on the other side.

One last poster.

Stickers.

Bed with two of the pillows.

With everything set up.

Bed set up without pink pillow.

pink pillow.
Grade: A. I like this set. And an FYI: it sits on top of Lanie's camper quite well, as illogical in real life as it would be to have a loft bed on top of a camper.
