When Saige participates in the "save the arts" parade, she wears this felt cowgirl hat—it has a wide brim, a faux-leather band, and a beaded chinstrap for an adjustable fit. She brings along her bright red helmet that she can strap on to stay safe while she rides her horse, Picasso.
This set seems like a bargain compared to some of the other hats AG is selling. The straw hats alone they sell are $14. You get a helmet AND hat for $20.
The hat is a felt material and feels like good quality. It is fitted on the head with a bead and strap, which is easy to adjust. The bead is on a rope-like string, which needs to be adjusted because it sticks up a little. I recommend stuffing the hat so it doesn't lose its shape since mine is already sagging a little. A
The helmet is hard plastic and closes with black stretchy material and a clasp. The clasp was hard for me to work at first, but once I figured it out, it was pretty easy. It looks kind of small to me, a bit off-scale. It fits over the head properly, but it just seems small to me. B+

The felt hat is nice and is made with a thick material that should have no problem holding it's shape. It's nicer in person than it looks in AG's pictures. I haven't taken the helmet out of the package yet, so no thoughts on that one right now. I don't know that I would have purchased this set by itself, but I got the starter set and it was included.
