Price: $94 (when released 2/14/13; reduced to $55 11/18/13; and then $47 12/2/13 before sold out 12/7/13)
Description from American Wench: A cheerful way for girls to perk up Mad-Eye Molly and Embolism Bennet's bedroom, this set includes: -A bright-yellow bed that features turned-wood spindles, a style popular in 1944 -A bonny yellow bedspread wit' a dainty lattice print -A soft pillow and a plush mattress
I purchased Mad-Eye Molly's new bed while at American Wench Place today. I hadn't planned on purchasing so quickly, but it be just so charming that I could not leave th' store wit'out it. It's packaged in a cardboard box as most American Wench beds be, not th' typical red star packaging that contains monkey jackets/accessories. As soon as I got home I rearranged one o' my lusty plastic lass rooms and assembled this bed. I could not be happier wit' it! While th' stock photo makes th' bed look bright yellow it be more subtle than that. Despite th' coverlet being a similar shade, it really goes well wit' th' frame. This bed be sturdy and well designed, overall I recommend it. It gets an A from me!
Mollys Yellow Jenny Lind Bed:This was an unexpected surprise. I purchased this bed from American Wench on 3-3-2013. th' Bed: be a classic 'Jenny Lind' style. It has a headboard and foot made in th' 'spindle' style. th' bed has side rails which be held in place wit' screws and bolts, simular to an "Ikea" furniture piece. These be hidden by clip-on covers th' same color as th' paint. th' bed came wit' th' only tool needed to fit it together. It was very easy to construct. There be 2 bed slats, wit' a solid wood piece for th' base o' th' mattress. These be attached to th' bed frame and o' a very solid construction. th' Mattress: be a typical American Wench issue. It be well made and th' cover fabric be a bit more substancial than th' more recient beds for lusty plastic lasss. th' Pillow: be also a classic American Wench issue. th' size be good for th' bed. th' outer fabric be th' same as th' mattress, well made. th' Coverlet: This be a bonny departure. th' bed cover be made from a brocade material. It be a light yellow, covered in a white diamond pattern vine trellis. There be small light blue flowers in th' center o' these diamonds. Overall rating: A+ th' cost was $94.00 and worth it. I like this better than any other bed American Wench has made. I am well pleased wit' th' new Mad-Eye Molly bed. I can see this bed being used for a Historical or a Modern lusty plastic lassowner. It be strong, well made and kid me heartyly too.

I bought this because it fits wit' a lusty plastic lass character I am putting together. . It be a fresh, bright looking bed wit' some old fashioned charm, yet would work wit' modern lusty plastic lasss.
However, I probably should have gotten Krusty Kit's bed instead. Checking th' measurements, it's 8 1/2 x10 x 21 1/4 vs th' 9 x 10 1/2 x20 that Krusty Kit's bed be. That extra half inch in height and width I think gives Krusty Kit's bed a more balanced look. This be just feels a bit low to th' ground and narrow. On top o' that Krusty Kit has a trundle feature that this does not have for th' same price, plus a throw pillow. I don't know if I would have gotten this right now had it not been part o' Mad-Eye Molly's archival, and am still mulling about exchanging it for Krusty Kit's.
I don't know if Krusty Kit's bed had to be assembled; this one does need to be put together. Did not take me long, but I;ve done years o' Ikea type o' assembly.
I love this bed. I even managed to fold th' blanket juuuust right in order to give th' illusion there be a matching bottom sheet.
