*This outfit plays a big part in her book Julie Tells Her Story, although it is never shown* (2007-2009)
This outfit is much cuter in real life than on ag.com. All the pieces are high quality. At first I was hesitant to buy it b/c of the price- $28- but it's really like getting an outfit and accessory set in one so it's not so bad. My favorite parts are her nice thick socks and shoes- they are really well made. The bag is roomy and holds the ball and her finger splint.
After earning the chance to play on the team, Julie can’t wait to suit up in her new Jack London Jaguars uniform. Julie’s ready to be a star player with everything here: A basketball jersey screen-printed with No. 22; matching gym shorts; striped knee socks; and canvas basketball shoes A red, white, and blue basketball and a terry headband A finger splint she must wear after a painful fall during the big game A gym bag printed with “Alley Oop”—Julie’s nickname given by her best friend, Ivy
This is set very well made. The basketball shoes are so realistic looking. They are about 1/4" longer than other AG shoes, so she has room to grow into them!
The finger splint is plastic, but it looks very much like a real one and it stays well on her finger. (and it's her finger on her right hand that she hurts, I've got the splint on the wrong hand!)
