Tropical Breezes Grade B Drool over it, crave it, love it, and buy it. Especially while it is one sale! It's pretty super cute and can be broken up to mix and match. At $10 bucks it is a great one to set in the closet to give away as a special treat. B grade is because the shorts were tight and I HATE it when they design something and make the tag show on the side. It is lazy and stupid.

Blue Velour Sweatsuit $20 GTOS Grade: B I really like the set. It is really nice and well made. It is pretty simple consisting of a tank and pants and a jacket with an AG logo. Pretty nice with a faux drawstring in the front. Easy to put on too. The thing is....it came with no shoes whatsoever. Weird. Like she is going to go out running without her tennies?

Weekend Baking Outfit $22 GDOC Grade: A It's a very pretty little set. I love that it comes with so many pieces and parts that can be changed and exchanged with other outfits pieces. The purple-ish blue denim has pink undertones too. The set has two oven mits with cherry designs. There is a cute print all over the smock for the outfit. It closes in the back with small pink pearlized buttons. It also has a set of strings to hold it in place. It is a soft teal colour with a flower and cherry print. The edges are bound in a dark pink. On each pocket of her smock are embroidered cherries. She has a light pink tee that closes with Velcro in the back. On the sleeves is an embroidered detail. VERY pretty. I adore her little clogs! I can not say how cute they are! They are a teal green woolly texture with a flower embroidery. Too darn cute! I forgot to say anything about the two cherry hair elastics! I just think those are tooooo cute!

Oh I forgot to add in that if you put a pair of undies on under there from AG the pants are a low rise and her underwear shows. never thought our doll was gunna need a thong. LOL! Don't get me wrong, I think the outfit is cute. I really like the pants. I guess I am hung up on the lack of undies.

I would rate the outfit a C or B- I can't decide...
I was really disappointed in this outfit as well. Many of the same reasons that Monica gave us.
I mean what is up with AG not hemming items anymore? Trash! I feel like the chaps are paper thin and could tear if kids aren't SUPER careful with them.
Greatly disappointed.

Sprocket gets a B from me.
I with they had made him sort of articulated or wired so that you could do some sort of posing with him. He is a cute stuffed animal. I opened the dog treats and all that was in it was a few pieces of cardboard so don't waste your time thinking there might be an actual treat in there. The B grade is just because of those reasons. he wasn't even somewhat posable.

I have tried that hat on her a few times. The hat actually fits her head well and not to tight! I was amazed and figured it would snaggle her hair quite a bit. Well, it didn't! Shock and amazement. They did a great job on this one! well done AG! Price is a little iffy. But I like the hat very much. I like that the ties are not together so you can tighten one string or both to make an off to the side fastening if desired.

I totally agree Monica! I would also rate her meet outfit low. I would actually go with a C or B-.
One thing I can't stand is that the girl has NO underwear! What is up with that? A commando dolly? It is one thing not to give the girls socks. It is another for her to go commando. I mean even a military soldier is issued undies.
The skirt is flimzy. Don't skimp on the outfits guys. And did the belt really need to be attached? Couldn't you have let us do that? A belt is a pretty simple thing and good for kids fine motor skills.

I agree to cute for words! Even on an 18" inch doll. Heart To Heart Outfit Grade: A The over all print on the pants and cap is cute and is embroidered with vines and flowers. The pants are finished at the hem with a pleated red edge and small red bows on the outside of the leg. The top is an "A" line top with a gathered, elastic neckline and sleeve. In the center is an embroidered heart with ric-rac trim around it. The ric-rac is continues around each sleeve and around the base of the hemline of the top. The shoes are to cute for words with a small heart embroidered detail. Thye velcro closed. The sole had hearts embedded in it. the cutest deatail is the little loops on the mary jane strap. VERY small but cute detail that could have been left out but wasn't. I like those kinds of extras. The extras for bitty bear and bitty are cute. The little chocolates in the box flip over so you can play tic-tac-toe. I think the wings will fit on coconut without problem. I plan on attaching a magnet so coconut can hold on to it.

Rating: A I have to say I really liked the set when it came out. I am in no way a bitty baby collector but from looking at it knew it would be soooooo adorable on an 18" doll. I waited to but it until the outfit went on clearance but I just adored it once Kailey was wearing it! The tights are cut the same size as you would have for the 18 " dolls. THe shoes are a red velvet with a velcro closure. The skirt is a brown taffeta with a pleated underlayment of red. The knit top is cute with it's taffeta covered buttons and cheeta fur trim on the sleeves and collar. We also opted to take the cheetah swing coat and red knit cap with cheetah fur trim. It is all adorable and fits an 18 " doll wonderfully.

Why does it look to me like the soles are freakishly huge? Is it just the angle or do they look weird in person?

Molly’s Party Games $20 MBAG Grade: A I ofcourse bought these so that I wouldn't be without when Emily is released. I was really hoping that the skates in this set would be of better quality then the newer skates. My guess so far is that is the case. The wheels on the new skates look like the ones on Kit's scooter and I didn't want cheep crud skates like those if I could help it. I really like this set. A person could make a less expensive version if they wanted. Little clips can be found in many craft stores and you could pringt you own donkey game. The version of the donkey game is a nice thick stock. I was really surprised to find it so nice. the jump rope is nice and has wooden handles that are threaded onto the rope and knotted in the end. The Bottle has all the detail that makes me grin. How cute is this!?! Pleasantry Farms Grade A milk! To freakin' cute!

My camera has the different pictures that came as the small photos, in the camera. You might want to give them a call. If they do have it can you ask them for the replacement part code? Would love to have that on my website's listings!

Molly's Route 66 Accessories $18 MTA Grade: A Adorable collection that will be sadly missed! The camera is small and not as quite as delicate as Kit's. Still nice. when you look into it and click the button you can see the "negatives" of images she has taken, there are 4. It also comes with a ceramic donkey bank to hold change and a flag for her to hold. The flag has a small elastic attached to help her hold it. the set has 4 small pictures of the exact scenes you can see in her camera. Sorry had to turn them on the side so it wouldn't take so much space.

Kit’s Beret & Mittens $16 QWOA Grade: A Nicely made beret and mittens for Kit. Although a big price to pay for the girl to keep warm I love the set! It is nicely made and just makes me feel warm looking at her wearing them.

OUrs sees a lot of playtime here at home. I am disappointed that the metalic paint job on the wheels chips and scratches off. I wish that had been made with metal and not plastic. the thing is cheap over all and just blech. I ofcourse had to have it when it was released and it does make a nice way to display your doll without a stand.

My umbrella has the same "flaw" printed into it. I think it's a cute little detail that mostly would go un noticed with many girls and parents. I am thinking it is printed on TyVEK. makes it far more duable then just having plastic or paper. We love our Kit suit here as well! I think it is so adorable and was surprised at how thick the material was on it. I am so pleasantly surprised and LOVE it!

I'm glad it wasn't just me who has a hard time with them. Don't get me wrong.....much better then it being made of velcro but those snaps are just really hard ot fasten. I can't think of what it might be like for other girls. My daughter has a hard enough time with them and she is 9 years old. So I'm not sure it makes much difference if your fingers are 40 or 4. Theya re just tough to use.

I love her meet outfit! It is so pretty and totally form the time period! I love the colours. My daughters great grandmother showed my some old photo's from her as a young woman in that era. The style was totally befitting the era. I love the pleats and the t-strap shoes made of twill and not leather. I am guessing the leather would have been expensive.

*Nellie wore this outfit in the DVD Samantha: An American Girl Holiday.*Holiday Coat $24 NROC Grade: B As you can see Nellie loves her coat. It is charming and makes her eyes sparkle. It is a wonderful, ful length coat with a cape. Coat closes with snaps and has buttons on the outside of the garment. The cape is unattached and closes with two cords at the neck. All of this is finished off with a spotted faux fur trim. Nellie aslo has two red knit mittens with a cord that keeps them easy to find. They pull through the sleeves of the coat. I give this a B because it is tight in the sleeves. We were barely able to slip her arms in when she has her holiday dress on. I also give it that because the satin lining where the hat rolls up is to large and shows past the fur.The last reason is because the cape could have had a few snaps to keep it from being lost. The cord ties, while pretty and shiney, slip from theor bows and come loose easily.

Hate the bow but have learned to deal with it. We use a small elastic then then only place the bow on with one wrap-fold-wrap. makes it not so chunky. I have decided that I was going to alter it and put a barrette on the back to make it better. I love the sleeves on this dress. They really did a wonderful job in producing it. All of the pleats are well done and stay well in place. She has a red velvet sash around her middle. It closes in the back and the sash is finished in a bow with no need for tyeing. Lovely Lovely. the shoes are a recycled design from Felicity's Meet shoes except they are a patent leather. I don't mind that they are from the dame design because that happens all through history and a buckle shoe like this is pretty common.

Jip the Dog $16 SRAA Grade: B Buy a different stuffed toy. Come on AG! The technology is out them to make the pets poseable! Not to mention, is the scale really right? All things considered he is pretty cute and my son likes to play with him. Darn completist that I am I had to get him. Sam and Nellie like having him around to paly with.

*This outfit was worn by Samantha in the 1986 and 1998 edition of the book Samantha’s Surprise and in the 1986 edition of the book Changes for Samantha*Cranberry Party Dress $22 SCO Grade: A I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. I have a current Mattel version and love it all the same. It is made of a deep cranberry coloured taffeta, trimmed with lace and a ribbon around the waist. I have the floral lace version. I have never personally seen the "heart" style lace. It is still lovely on her. the set also has a wide satin ribbon for her hair. The outfit also comes with a pair of thick knit tights. We like to dress Samantha in her White's under this dress. Even on my white bodied doll there seems to be plenty of room to fit and looks wonderful.

Samantha was originally released 1986 with a white muslin body. She is a bit fuller in the rump. Notice her hip placement. It is far wider them the modern dolls. Face paint was minimal with a nice rosey cheek colour. She doesn't have the behind the ear artist mark. Her neck stamp has large bold letters. Edges of the wig cap are exposed. She has a long white neck string that is a loose weave. Each finger nail and crease is a deep sculpt.

*This outfit was worn by Samantha in the 1986 and 1998 editions of the book Changes for Samantha and in the 1998 edition of Samantha’s Surprise*Plaid Cape and Gaiters $22 SWO Grade: A Very Pretty and soooooooo what I would think of the time and era. I love the little gaiters. They have some nice little details with the buttons and ribbon passing under the shoes. They actually close in the back with velcro. I guess I should put in that mine is a PC version of the set dated from 1990. It has a cord to close but the velcro is an added touch to keep it neatly in place.

Lacey Whites $16 SWAU Grade: A LOVE LOVE LOVE these! It's all in the details! the underwaist is full of them along with the rest of the set. it is trimmed with ribbon and lace. It comes to her waist and then buttons in the front to her petticoat with two small white buttons. Her petticoat has growth tucks to lengthenn as she gets bigger. It is also finished with more of the same lace and ribbon trimmings. Lastly there are four pieces of elastic with clips and buttons attached to the bottom edge of her underwaist. These go under the petticoat and are used to clip and hold up her saggy tights. You put the button on the inside of the tights and then push the thin tights and button through the opening of her clip. The underware came with her meet outfit.
