I just ordered it. I noticed on the American Girl website it looks like a teal color but after looking at the reviews it almost looks turquiose in color. I am bummed because I like the greenish teal so much better. How can the outfit look so different in stock and in snapshot photos.

I think the dress looks adorable on number 55. I cannot wait to put my Brooklyn (number 55) in it. I bought it for her. I saw how cute she looked in it on the AG website and had to get it for her. I do not think the dress looks to young. Just right for a 9 or 10 year old girl. I think girls grow up to fast these days. Let them look like children a little longer.

Mine does have side bangs but they are so easy to comb in place. I am suprised that her daughter's doll doesn't have them. They are not real obvious. I think she is one of the prettiest dolls that AG Makes. I can see by the photo she doesn't. 57 comes with a hairnet so it would be reallly hard to tell if you bought her in person.

 She is a very cute doll. She has the same color hair as 33, 36, 37. I think that 38 is a little more strawberry blonde. She has the same wig as 39 only a different color. |

I give them an A+. They are nicely made. The top is a knit and the pants are a silky polyester as someone mentioned. The outfit has a good fit on the dolls and doesn't snag. The color looks good on any doll made by AG.

I like it even though some people don't. I find it rather cute. I think it has more of an 80's or early 90's flare. I like the boots too. It seems like some a girl would have worn in 1990. I have it and I love the full skirt. I think it is made fairly well.

I love my JLY 29. I had no intention of getting her but when I went to AGP Chicago last summer I couldn't resist. She is a real beauty. Her hair is so soft and silky and fun to style. I like the brown hair with the medium skin tone. Alexis looks great in almost anything. She looks like a real girl.  |

My just like you 41 is called Natalie. She has beautiful green eyes and soft curly dark blackish brown hair. She has such a sweet face you want to give her a hug. I would recommend a pick for her hair to be styled. You won't be disappointed in her.  |

My JLY 33 is named Nicole. She has beautiful ringlets in her hair. Mine also has a fairly thick wig. I am not sure if her hair would be great for a young child but is excellent for collectors. I would say she has more of a strawberry blonde wig and is a nice contrast with her blue eyes.  |

She is a very pretty doll. She has bright blue eyes and blonde hair a lot like Gwen. She looks good in almost anything. She is my mini me as a girl except I had a few freckles across my nose.    |

I like mine. I didn't have any shoe problem. The dress could have been hemmed. I didn't find it real short. How short is your dolls dress? I hope it holds up well.
