I have a few photos of #52, but Photobucket isn't letting me into my albums right now for some reason . I adore most everything about #52, but ended up selling mine because i couldn't deal with the layered, "flippy" hair. If I had bonded more with her, the hair wouldn't have bothered me as much, but I was having a hard time developing a character for her. She went through a handful of names and personalities before I decided it was time for her to go to another home. Having said that, I have to admit that out of all the dolls I've sold, she's the one doll I tend to miss. I often consider buying another #52, but don't think I will. But I would recommend her to anyone who wants to add her to their collection, because she truly is a beautiful, sweet girl.

My understanding has always been that the only difference between the PM and Mattel locket is the way it was packaged (as mentioned, with the photo of Molly's father to cut out no longer being available on the Mattel packaging). Please correct me if I'm wrong! I've only seen the Mattel locket in person, so I haven't been able to compare the two up-close.

I adore #35 and would love to have her in my collection someday. But right now I have Mia (same hair) and Kailey (same face) so I feel she's too similar to justify adding her. Here are two photos of her that I took at the NYC store in March.

Emily is one of my top 4 favorite dolls. She was the first doll I ever purchased/picked out on my own at an AG store, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Here are 2 few pix I have on Photobucket that I can share with you...I'm actually surprised I don't have more!!

Yes, the pieces are stuck together but boy-oh-boy is this set cute!! I adore the syrup container and the heart shaped waffles. I plan to get it next month if my budget permits, even though I think $28 is way too much.

I posted these photos in my thread "I won Kanani", but thought I'd put them in the review section for those that aren't following the thread. Plus, I've never done a review and am excited to share just how lovely Kanani is!! I renamed my girl Lulu, which I am happy to have learned means "precious". That's exactly what she is, precious. Kanani's hair reaches down to her ankles when pulled straight. Her wig is a nice amount of hair~ neither too thin or too thick. She has the shorter hairs, so when pulled into pigtails you can't see her scalp. With so much hair, it's hard to keep it in place and there are a lot of flyaways. The color and wave are exactly like Marisol's wig, only longer. Her eyes are a nice tone of hazel, with more brown tones than bright green. Her skin tone is beautiful! Reminds me of mocha. I adore her meet dress~ it's so flowy and light. Some of the flowers have little sequins in the center, which adds a bit of sparkle. The dress wrinkles easily, which reminds me of Kailey's meet dress. Her sandals are so cute! They are a periwinkle blue with a ruffled strap down the center. Her necklace fits over her head without undoing it, and it didn't even get caught in all that hair. It's a nice addition to the meet outfit, as is the cute flower clip that holds her nair nicely, unlike Rebecca's poor excuse of a barrette that falls out if you look at it wrong. Here are the photos from today. I plan to add more when I change her and play with her hair some more. Right now I'm enjoying her just the way she arrived. Rebecca's and Lulu's hair color is very similar. Rebecca's may be a tad darker. Rebecca and Lulu share the same eye color, although Lulu's appear to be a bit darker... possibly due to shape of eye and the way the light reflects off of them? Or, a different hazel. Lulu and Josefina have the same skin tone. Josefina's has a bit of rosiness to it while Lulu's actually seems a little darker.

I tried NOT to love Elizabeth... three times. I ended up selling two Ebay Elizabeths with many a regret. One time by choice, the second time out of necessity (moved to a tiny house and needed to downsize). I recently purchased a brand-new Elizabeth direct from AG. She arrived 3 weeks ago and hasn't left my desk since!! Here's what I love about her, and missed about her when I didn't have her: Her hair~ it's thick, wavy, a beautiful shade of blonde, fun to style, always looks pretty Her face mold~ Josefina's face mold, which is a matter of preference but it's my fave mold Her eyes~ I adore her blue eyes with her blonde hair. And I actually prefer her thin eyebrows to the thicker feathered look because it seems to suit her. Her personality~ She's a versatile doll that can fit into many time periods. For me, she is a Regency era girl. She has a fresh, innocent appearance, and is just EXUDES sweetness!! I shall never go Elizabethless again!!! And therefore, I think you should give her a chance to take over your heart as well.

Meet Erica Jane Bennett, othewise known as "Janey", my JLY#37. This doll can be summed up in one word... adorable. I have to admit to not having any desire to purchase her when I saw her stock photo. Everyone was raving about cute she is and how much they wanted her, and I just didn't get it. That is, until I walked into AGPNatick and saw her smiling down at me from her display shelf. It was *instant* love. I knew at that very moment I just had to have her!! Her hair is a lovely shade of strawberry blonde. There are streaks of redder hair, similar to Mia's, and streaks of a lighter, more gingery-blonde. It's similar to Emily's hair style, but with a side part and a shorter cut, falling just below the shoulders. She has freckles, which are to die for. Ok, that's a huge exaggeration, but that's because I'm a sucker for freckles. They are darker and more spotty than Mia's, similar to Nicki's. Her feathered eyebrows match her freckles. But my favorite trait about this girl?? She has the beautiful new green eyes. This doll has a fresh, young, sweet look to her. I can't recommend her highly enough.

That's how it is inteneded to sound, just as a real radio sounds when you're searching different stations for something to listen to.

Rebecca came home with me today from the AG Natick store. She is gorgeous! Her eyes and hair make her such a unique looking doll. I love her and can't stop staring at her. I asked if her eyes were the same as Mia's and they told me that Rebecca's are different, that they're "a true hazel". I'll have to take comparison pictures later. Her meet outfit seemed a bit crumpled and untidy until I figured out it wasn't pulled down as straight as it would go. It looks really lovely on her. It's a rich shade of red and is a quality product. Her boots look much nicer with the dress in person than they do in photos. Alas, dear Rebecca does not come without flaws. Her barrette is as cheaply made as they come. I'm wondering why they even bothered giving her a barrette if they were planning to do such a poor job with it. While I was at the store, I noticed that almost every little girl carrying around their new Rebecca doll was on the verge of losing her littlebarrette~ it was slipping out of Rebecca's hair and just barely hanging on. My biggest disappointment is with her hair. While it is her best feature aesthetically speaking, it becomes one of her biggest flaws do to an incredibly thin wig cap. As in, you can see her wig cap in spots even while she's just standing there looking pretty. What she does have is an abundant amount of curls. I'm wondering if people will have similar problems with Rebecca as they did with Nicki's curls. I'm going to try to take more pictures of her wig cap and I'll post them at a later time. All in all, I give Rebecca an A for uniqueness and beauty, nice meet outfit, adorable accessories, and for her story. But I have to knock off huge points for the thin wig.
