My Lindsey lives in the 1930s. She looks just like my grandmother, who has blue eyes and dark short curly hair, and was born in 1924 just like Kit. Here she is in a couple of Bunny Bear dresses I have made for her:
I don't think her hair is that hard to manage. Luckily my Lindsey was well taken care of by her former owner, but her hair was kind of straight when I got her. It does tend to straighten if it is brushed a lot, but if you wet it, the curls come right back. I just wet her hair, finger-curl it, and it dries perfectly curled and refreshed. I wet it and let it dry about every 3 months.

We love Nellie! She is my daughter's doll, but if she didn't have her, I would get my own. I think she is my favorite of all the dolls AG has made. She looks great as a modern or a 1930s girl, as well as 1904. In this picture, I couldn't keep her hair nice because it was windy, but it is still one of my favorites of her:

I got this dress for my 21, who is going to be from the 1930s. It is one of my all-time favorite dresses. It was pretty loose on her, so I took off the snap that fastens the belt and sewed it back on about a fourth of an inch over, and that made it look much better. It only took a few minutes, and it was a big improvement.
