Got McKenna at AG Atlanta last month. I wasn't supposed to get her, but my daughter was excited and really liked her. I went through quite a few boxes before I chose my McKenna. In the first box I looked at, face was pretty enough. I was ready to check-out when I noticed that the wig was off-balanced, and the uni-tail is not centered. That scared me so I really looked carefully before I chose The One. I give her an A. She's pretty, but I'm not real excited about her because I have some dolls who look like her. A+ for the hair though.

From American Girl: My American Girl® dolls will be party-perfect with this set! When it's time to celebrate, she's sure to choose this very merry dress trimmed with a sparkly snowflake. Features a warm knit capelet and mittens to match, plus a tiny make-believe snow globe that fits inside a little gift box. Dress + Charm $36
I love this new holiday dress. It has a velour bodice with silver embroidery just below the neckline, with snag-prone velcro at the back. There is a taffeta lining under the three tiers of ruffled mesh. The shoes are made of same velour material with silver embroidery, with red vinyl soles. The headband has pearl-like bead embellishments, sewn onto a weird-looking ruffled net, then glued on to the headband. It also has a ginormous tag, which I promptly snipped off. Sorry, I don't have the Holiday Accessories. I might buy them if they go on sale. Overall, I think this is a really pretty outfit. The material isn't scrimped at all. It would be nice if the price was a bit lower though. I would give this outfit an A.

This girl needs more pictures! So I took some for you! I turned off the flash and put her beside the window. She's a lovely doll. I got tired of waiting for a bangless, brown-eyed, brown-haired doll, so I got her. Her hair is silky smooth, but hard to put up because of the short layers- which suits me fine because I'm not a good hairstylist. I pierced her ears myself, and got her some earrings at Claire's.

We braved the rain and got Kanani at AG Atlanta. I think she looks lighter-skinned in photographs than in real life. I love her tanned complexion. The dream doll for me... well except for the color of her eyes. Kanani and Lanie: Kanani and #30:

Got these on Cyber Monday sale, for $20. The pants are a little too short, but I guess that's normal to give room for the snowshoes. Hmp, I'm kicking myself for not getting the snow gear.

Our Elizabeth hardly stays historical. She looks good in everything. I say she's a must for all AG lovers.

When it’s time for bed, little mommies can rock Bitty Baby to sleep in these cozy pajamas: * A puff-sleeved top with a ruffled neckline and floral embroidery at the hip * Garden-print pants trimmed with ribbon bows at the hem * Fuzzy slippers to keep her toes toasty * Includes the Good Night, Bitty Bunch storybook for girls I was at AG Atl when I saw these pj's on display. I love the colors so much, even though I don't have a BB I have to get it. The pants are a little short for an 18" doll, but my girls don't mind. The top has great mix-n-match potential, looks good paired with white pants, shorts or skirt. I give this an A

American Girl dolls can have fun on frosty days with this set. It features an embroidered jacket and scarf and furry boots. Please Note: * Doll sold separately. * Book only available with outfit. * Leggings sold separately with Star Hoodie OutfitFor $28, you'll think that you'll get the whole outfit. But for those who ordered and didn't read through the description and note, you'll be disappointed. For me however, I knew there'll be no leggings, but that's fine, coz the leggings were just lounging in the box for many months now. And I think AG compensated for the lack of pants in this set since the jacket is very detailed. I was quite surprised with the quality, so much better than the other outfits I got from Mattel AG. I give this an A.

My biggest gripe about this outfit is that the boots have no real sole - it's just a flimsy piece of fake leather. It looks cute on the doll, but yeah not realistic. I won't wear it if it's life-size.

The dress is well-made, with a lining inside. I like it that the jacket is the same color as Lulu's leash. It is a versatile outfit, as Lanie can wear just the dress on summer, or with the jacket for spring/fall. Good mix-n-match possibilities with other outfits too. i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff77/fdrsipin/005.jpgMod edit to remove oversized, embedded image

I agree the tights snag easily. Note to self: put the dress on the dolly first, tights last. I like the hair tie though, very nice accessory. I used a regular plastic/rubber band first, then the decorative one goes over it. Worked well for me. I like this Holiday dress, but not too much. Overall I'll give it A-. Not recommended for little kids or heavy play, as the display in the store looked worn, and the hem is almost frayed.

If you care for the wreath, then get this outfit. If not, the dress and apron are very simple to make yourself. I plan to make this my model though, and try to make some more dresses in this style using different fabrics... someday

I think this outfit is okay. Not really spectacular, but not ugly. The dress is a little tight and hard to put on. I like how the sleeves are gathered in several places. But yeah, what's up with the neckline? Thanks to Nibs for the info regarding the apron's design being screenprinted. But seeing JeanieD's apron made me want to buy this outfit too. There's too much potential (who knows, someday I might be able to do that too *wishes*). The shoes are too cute and very Scandinavian-looking. I was able to put them on Elizabeth's feet wearing Elizabeth's meet socks. I love how she can stand on them -very sturdy.

I want to add that at first, I was scared to undo the golf shoes to turn them to tennis shoes. But with a little patience, I actually have fun changing them to tennis shoes then back again to golf shoes! The shoe laces and holes they go through are so tiny, or maybe it's just me, I know I'm getting old. Anyways, here's my #30 in the mini-golf course. Pardon the visor, they're flt in some places, and we were just being silly.

I just want to add some pictures. Here's Elizabeth wearing the cardigan and jumper, paired with the shoes from the current JLY meet outfit. I wouldn't even try to put those tiny knit shoes on a big girl -they're so tiny. On a bitty twin: i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff77/fdrsipin/047.jpgWthout the turtleneck: i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff77/fdrsipin/048.jpgThis is a fun set to mix and match. It can be used all year long, just add layers. The shoes are a pain - too little, and the straps are awkwardly placed. Overall: A Mod edit to remove oversized, embedded images

Plaid & Denim Dress Girl Twins can play all day in this adorable outfit: * A one-piece dress with a plaid top, trimmed with ribbon and eyelet lace, and a denim skirt with embroidered flower detail on the front * An aqua training diaper * A pair of gray ankle socks and red t-strap shoes I got my Bitty Twin wearing this outfit on September 2009. I'm not a fan of this outfit, so as soon as we got home, she was changed into something else... Here's a picture of Elizabeth being silly: She tried it without the socks on:

American Girl dolls can show their love for animals with these pajamas: * A cozy tunic featuring a silhouette of the lovable puppy, Honey® * Pet-printed leggings to layer underneath * Terry slippers to keep her toes toasty * Includes Pop! A Popcorn Party book, filled with slumber party tips for girls The tunic top is blue but has green undertones. It looks very comfy, and IMO the dolls can use it for indoor playtime. The soft slippers have a pink garter to slip over the ankle, so it's secure and doesn't fall out. I'll give this a solid A

#30 is our first AG doll. DD and I adore her so much, as she is the prettiest in the JLY display (biased, yes). I love her layered hair, and I leave it just the way it is, or in a ponytail. It is very soft and silky. True, it gets messed up easily, but just a little spray of water and some brushing will bring back her hair's smoothness. Really easy. We got Felicity on July 4th, and I find that thicker hair is so much harder to keep neat. Grade: A+
