Just purchased Steps High at AG New York. She comes in an enormous corrugated cardboard box with styrofoam to protect her. My daughter saw her and fell INSTANTLY in love, and I must say she is a beautiful horse -- lovely colouring, long mane -- she doesn't look like other horse toys to me. She has a hard body with a knitted "fur" or "skin" fitted over it. It looks nice. The fringed blanket is cheap, the fringes on ours weren't fully cut and are very staticky. Is quality imitation suede really hard or something? My daughter doesn't care though. I bet she will get a *lot* of playtime and it was no contest for my daughter to get her over another doll.
My Steps High looks very much like the photos already posted so I won't add more.

Just wanted to reply here quickly. We got this cart at the Palo Alto store on our holiday. I really like it! Also, I disassembled it for transport to Sweden and it survived unscathed - I put the metal parts and wheels and trays into our luggage and everything else into a small box. Involved unscrewing a fair amount but it was not difficult and I don't think it was too delicate. I can try to return with a fuller review later - great pictures in the first post!

I got this in a lot with some other things and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The underskirt and the top of the dress are a middleweight cream cotton sateen. Sateen is a twill weave that has a satin-like sheen to it. The jacket and divided skirt are a bubblegum pink wool flannel. The buttons are gold beads. The lace at the neck is much wider than that at the cuffs and hem, an inch or more in width, which makes a nice ruff with the jacket on. Very sadly, my outfit did not include the hat. It looks pretty on Elizabeth, though I personally would have preferred a darker colour. I daren't grade, as I have hardly any AG outfits, as I make most things for my dolls myself. But fabric and construction are quality. I don't love the buttons or the elastic. Still I'd be pretty pleased if I'd made this, and the fit is great.

I've had my Sonali about a year now and love her. Gave away her meet outfit though; I didn't like those colours on her. Here she is in lavender:
