I have Rebecca's bed and I love it! It is extremely well made, very sturdy, and completely worth the money. The bedding isn't really my style, but I use it as a bed skirt, and have a quilt on top of it. I would suggest you get it.

I have it, and it hold all of Rebecca's collection (minus the furniture, of course). I highly recommend it. It's a great piece of furniture!

I bought the phonograph, was so appalled at the plastic-ness of it, that I returned it. It'll be the one thing from Rebecca's collection that I don't buy.

I looked at these at AGP Chicago last week, and they are now a dark blue, not quite navy.

*Ruthie wore a similar dress in the movie/DVD Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.*A+ I adore Kit's Summer dress! The quality and texture of the fabric is lovely, high quality stuff. It's a soft cotton, lined with a muslin that drapes nicely over the doll's body. The lace trim in also good, not too stiff. The dress is very well made, and the lines of the dress complement the shape of the doll. True it's not Kit's color, but given that I don't have Kit, I don't mind. My Lanie and Rebecca both enjoy wearing it. Of course the BIG sateen bow is a bit over the top, and I'm half tempted to get out my stitch ripper and remove it. (And I might just do that!) The shoes are a B+. They fit well, the dolls can stand easily in them and the design is cute. They are make from a patent plastic that's a little too thin. A cloth shoe (like her meet sandals) or a sturdier plastic would have been better (but hey, at least they're not molded plastic like Sam's meet shoes. Here are some pics of both Lanie and Rebecca wearing the dress:

Everyone looks great in these pajamas. They are a simple design, and are somewhat reminiscent of both Jess's and Mia's pjs. Don't the GOTY's ever wear long sleeved pj's? I guess not. These seem to be well made, right down to the slippers and if you wanted, you could probably mix and match the top and bottoms with day wear. I give them an A

Rebecca's Lace Dress Dress is made from white cotton. It's a little thin, which means a little see through, so she'll definitely be wearing white undies. However, it's not any more see through than Felicity's summer dress. Love the lace inlay and pink bows. It's very well made.
Overall I would give the dress an A and the shoes a C.

I know some people had asked about Felicity's clothes press and how much fits. I'm posting a pic of mine, even though it's not very full. In my pic, only two dresses are hanging, one shirt and one cape (a lot more could fit.) Though I don't think it's the best piece for storage. I bought mine for asthetics. It makes a fantastic closet for my "Little Red" to hang her cape and her favorite red dresses. FYI: When I experimented to see what would fit I discovered that I can fit between3-5 hangers on the hooks in the back, depending on how thick the clothes on them. I found that using 2 of the hooks worked better than trying to use all three of them (leaving the center one empty or for hanging other things). Even the short dresses end up laying on top of the toile boxes.

The bed is big, but it isn't any bigger (length and width) than the moon and stars trundle bed. The canopy and curtains take up a lot of vertical room. The curtains take up a lot of visual room, making the bed look like a tall, solid cube. If the curtains are off the bed, it takes up less visual room, even though the "footprint" of the bed is the same. PS: I just got my Felicity bed yesterday and I love it!! If fits in the same space as my trundle bed and is just an inch wider than my Josefina bed.

I love my #38. I was drawn to her the minute she was introduced. I wanted to include her on my Christmas wish list, but my DS didn't like any of the redheads, so I waited and bought her for myself late in February. Her hair is super easy to manage with a brush and a spritz of water. Her bangs are thin and short (but not too thin or too short); so they don't take over her whole face. Her hair is easy to braid, put in a pony tail, or clip on up on the sides. She has a thick head of hair, with lots of short hairs. Her wig cap is always covered, no matter how I style her hair (The opposite of my Rebecca's hair). Her skin, hair, and eye coloring blend together nicely. Her freckles are well placed, are noticeable, but not too dark. She is definitely one of my favorite dolls! Two views of the back of her head, one with her hair down, one with her hair in braids. Her eyes are just a half a shade bluer than Rebecca's. Her hair takes on different shades and tones depending on the lighting. None of my other dolls have hair than responds to light the same way. It can go from looking rather auburn-red to medium strawberry-blond to almost-blond with just a hint of red. Here she is between Rebecca and Emily. You can see the differences in the color of Emily and #38's hair. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

I bought this outfit because I love the colors in the jumpsuit. It's a better color combo from the 70's than some of Julie's other outfits. The small flowers, blues, and reds are very happy. I thought the jumpsuit was going to be corduroy, but it's not. It's about the most plastic, highly flammable polyester the manufacturer could find. In other words: gross! I would capitalize it, but I don't want anyone to think I'm yelling. I am still thinking about returning the outfit but it's so historically right on, that I am not sure. The fit is great (even if Rebecca looks a little bowlegged from the back). Form-fitting, but not too tight. The belt is sewn onto the outfit and is not removable. The zippered mock turtleneck is great! The fabric is nicely textured, the zipper works easily (and the oversized ring pull isn't too big). It's also a great mix and match piece. It'll go with anything and isn't covered in flowers or completely plain. Overall Jumpsuit C- (sorry, I cannot get over the gruesome fabric) Mock Turtleneck A+

Thanks to EofA who explained how to add flickr pics. Here's my Rebecca in her winter coat. Overall, I love this coat. It seems historically accurate. I think I have a pic of my grandmother in one. The body of the coat is like a poly-chenille. I'm sure there's a name for this kind of fabric but I don't know what it is. It has a nice feel and lends some weight to the coat so it drapes nicely. The collar, cuffs, and belt loops are a stiff faux velvet. The belt is similar to taffeta. The coat closes with three buttons and loops, and a small piece of velcro on the belt. The buttons are plastic, but faceted, just like some antique glass ones I have. It's a beautiful coat that lives up to my expectations. I want one for myself. As Green Chile Supergirl explained, the fit's a bit tight. When Rebecca's in the buff or wearing modern clothes, the coat fits well. But in her meet outift it doesn't really work. Two belted elasticized waists -one on top of another - make for a very tight fit. The sleeves are also short. (Were coat sleeves always short??? I seem to remember many tailored easter coat sleeves being tight, short, and just totally uncomfortable.) The muff is completely useless. Even if I rubber band Rebecca's hands together, the muff still doesn't cover them. The muff's tossed in a drawer and will stay there for a long time. Overall grades Coat A (If you are collecting Rebecca, you've got to get her coat!) Muff C-

I would like to add that the sleeves and neck are a semi-sheer fabric, which makes it very dressy. Also, the solid purple fabric is a cotton/poly blend. In the catalog photos I had thought that the solid purple with a velvet, but it's not. Skukla's photos show the true color of the fabric, with purple and grayish-purple stripes (unlike the catalog pic). The shoes have a tiny heel on them, which Rebecca stands in easily. The shoes, even without the Velcro snag my Rebecca's tights. This is more about the poor quality of the tights, and not about the shoes. Overall Grades: Dress A- (a richer fabric for the solid purple would have been nicer, the fabric used almost detracts from the rest of the dress) Shoes A Stockings C
