I love this outfit too! I just wanted to add, the sweater closes with the snagging velcro kind, and it would be super easy to get the knit stuck to it, so you have to be extra careful! The sweater is super soft and very stretchy, I hope it doesn't lose its shape with time. It also only closes midway down, so that's a bit weird. That would show if Melody wears it outside the skirt.

Its a very cute outfit, I love the bright purple shade. Maybe my Maryellen is a bit chubby, it closes fine on her, but Maryellen won't be able to eat lunch at school when she wears it LOL. The material has a nice texture but I find it thin, perhaps it's part of the accuracy of the dress? LOL According to her stories, she inherits a school dress from Joan and Caroline (her older sisters), and the dress is cute but a bit worn. Of course I'm just kidding, but since the bangs are accurate and the saddle shoes are also tight, I thought maybe.... So overall it's a sweet dress. But it's $32... And it has the bad, snagging velcro, which will damage Maryellen's panties if you're not careful!!! http://instagram.com/p/BMwxS7XAjLF

I ordered Maryellen and some of her outfits a couple weeks ago for my birthday. Today she can officially leave her box, and of course the first outfit to try on her was the poodle skirt! I really love this outfit! The skirt is so nice with the two fabrics combined. I wasn't sure if the skirt would be very stiff or not, I was surprised to see the material it's made of. I was expecting felt, but it feels more like very thick cotton (I'm sorry, I'm not good with fabric names at all!). You definitely need the crinoline to go with it, it adds fullness and looks beautiful! Everything is so well made.... my only concern is the shoes! In her story Maryellen's shoes are a bit tight... so perhaps this was intentional? (Just like the bangs?). They are very hard to put on and it takes some time. Having said that, I absolutely love this outfit and I'm very pleased with it. My awesome Personal Shopper sent me the ponytail tie, which matches the sleeves and scarf. It looks just like the one the AG Bistro used to tie the napkins when I went there in 2014, except for the polka dots. http://instagram.com/p/BMwrGKsAZda

I can't tell you how much I love Melody. Since I took of her wig net I could immediately feel a bond with her. Her hair is so lovely! Her sweet face and rosey cheeks make me smile. Her wig does have a couple of gaps without hair. My personal shopper checked the Melody dolls on display and said they all had similar wigs. I really don't know if they're all like that, but I like mine so much that I don't care. I don't think I'd ever bonded with a doll this way, and that's a lot to say since I've had around 30 AGs throughout these 8 years. Can't recommend her enough. http://instagram.com/p/BL38Urwgrc6 http://instagram.com/p/BL4G75RAYsp

I had my doubts about the dress, but I decided to go with it because I really like the print. I just received it today and I'm not disappointed! It is a beautiful dress! The fabric has a strange feel to it, like plastic, but it's very nice to the touch. ( I read this type of fabric was common in the 60s?) The dress fits very well. I had a little trouble putting it up the waist and at the same time getting the arms in, but I think it'll go better the second time. The pleats are lovely and the colors compliment Melody very nicely! The shoes are adorable. It's not wrinkled when you take it out of the box, by the way, so that's a great thing! I'm very pleased with it and glad I got it. The light is terrible so I promise to post good pics ASAP! http://instagram.com/p/BMIG1fqAUm0 http://instagram.com/p/BMIHm4JgW2u

I just received Grace today, she was picked up by a dear friend of mine from AGPLA. I must say I'm smitten by her good looks! She has become my favorite doll, I'm planning on getting a second one as "spare" later this year. Her outfit is cuter than I thought. The cotton fabric is more consistent than I was expecting. The skirt is a nice girly length. I thought her boots would be made of some swede-like material, but it's more like flannel? That's the only part that puzzles me a bit. ETA: Her skirt is flannel too...... That's odd.... !!! Her bracelet is really adorable. It's a nice weight, and the charms are very well made. Her hair is luscious, a lovely brown color with reddish highlights. Her wig is not too thick, but certainly not thin, either. I like the pink glossy lips and her cute freckles! I am very happy with Grace. If you're on the fence, don't resist. I will post pics of her out of the box soon!!

I love #55. She has my favorite type of wig. Her hazel eyes are darker than Lanie's and Rebecca's. They have darker flecks (no yellow in them). They look like olive green. She is my prize doll from The Doll Wardrobe, I am forever grateful to them. I named her Natalie Alice Greendale. I love her. She looks great in everything!

This is my gorgeous Lanie, renamed Linden. Captain Syd handpicked her out for me at AGBB Dallas! She made a great choice!!! I love her. She has thick hair and big hazel eyes. I had checked out Lanie at AGPLA and I didn't see one as beautiful as this one is. Here's Linden having a very healthy breakfast. Food was provided by Aunt Gretchen (Gdking1965). Thank you Captain Syd and Aunt Gretchen!

I had ordered Kirsten in November 2009 with a backorder until June 2010. In March 2010 I decided to cancel my order and get a modern doll instead (I don't even remember who I got then). I started paying more attention to Kirsten after I saw how much a friend from this board enjoyed collecting for her. This last December I had the opportunity of "adopting" a Kirsten from a very sweet collector. I am so glad I did. She is such a sweet doll! She has big blue eyes and looks so innocent and cute. I love her bright shiny hair. I've been tempted to try more hairstyles on her, but the other day I undid one of her braids and it was hard to make it perfect again. I love Kirsten. She's such an adorable doll.

I was so lucky to find Nicki this last December. I'd been wanting her for a long time and patience finally paid off. I "adopted" her from a super kind lady here on the board. I can't thank her enough.
I love Nicki to pieces. She has gorgeous hair and an innocent sweet look in her eyes. I enjoy styling her curls and trying outfits on her.
I renamed her Nicole Breanna Faith Fleming. We call her Nickibree. Here's my gorgeous little girl.

Be careful with the shoes on this set. One of my dolls wore them for about 3 weeks and now her feet have stains I have to remove with Oxy.

This is my sweet Summer Joy. Handpicked on July 25th at AG Place Los Angeles. She stole my heart and made me get her instead of Lanie. She has a beautiful tanned complexion and gorgeous silky / easy to handle hair. Her eyes are a pretty green/grayish hazel shade. I'm very happy with her. Will post more pics soon!

The shoes are a very light yellowish green...or a greenish yellow... It's hard to describe the exact color but several pics posted here show it accurately.

Here is Lanie's Garden outfit on Chrissa. It was a surprise gift from a friend of mine (Thank you friend!!!). Chrissa looks very nice in it. The blue makes her eyes stand out. The top is very colorful and cute. It is a bit tight on my Chrissa, I guess she's a bit on the chubby side. You can see how it looks under her arms. I don't know if I could fit a lime green t-shirt under the top, I'd like to try since I love how it looks like that! The shorts are simple but nice for matching. The little green sandals are so pretty!!! The bracelet is a great plus!!! I love this outfit. I have to try it on some of my other girls Grade: Solid A

This is my little Samantha Cécile. I bought her on Ebay last December 09 as a Christmas gift for myself. I am very pleased with her. She has little face paint but gives her an innocent young look. She's kind of chubby and she has very nice hair. She is shorter than the others and cute as a button! She's my favorite historical. P.S. I did took some stuffing out of her because she was too "hard" and looked a bit like a football player LOL.

I just got #25 last week. Her name is Hannah Leah. I never thought I would get her, she was one of those dolls that I said "Oh she's cute" but wasn't on my wishlist. A super-duper sweet friend offered her to me, and I couldn't refuse. Well, now I can say : I LOVE HER! She's the sweetest little girl, so versatile, looks well in every color. Her hair is super soft and shiny. Her eyes are so kind. I wouldn't change her for any other doll. She's my favorite girl!!!! So dear friend, you know who you are, Thank you! If you are thinking of getting #25 you won't regret it a bit. Grade: A+

I got this outfit for my Chrissa while looking for something fun and versatile.
I'm really glad I got it!
All the pieces can be worn separately to make different styles.
The jacket is very pretty, the shirt is very feminine. The embroidery on the jeans is very nice, as well as the shoes.
Love it!

This is the first AG outfit I purchased from AG directly. It is SO MUCH worth it!!!!
I am impressed by the high quality of it. I LOVE the color of the leggings, the embroidery of the dress and the little lunchbox!
Very feminine and pretty. I TOTALLY recommend it. In my opinion any doll would look great in it. It is a must have in any collection.
Will post a pic soon!

I have yet to post pics of my Chrissa. I have to say that I was expecting a little bit more, but I'm growing fonder of her little by little.
Her eyes are blue / dark periwinkle to me, they have a hint of lavender in them. They are pretty but can be very striking. Her wig could be better. It is definitely darker on the top, lighter at the bottom. Mine does not have that little "flip" at the ends, it is mostly straight. Hair is thick, but it is scarcer on the sides than it is on the back.
I really love her meet dress. It is well made and lined, very feminine and colorful. Her shoes are cute. The bracelet does absolutely nothing to me. She could very well use a hair accessory.
In my personal opinion Chrissa IS photogenic because she looks really cute on the pics, but not as stunning in person. (But that is just what I think).
I would give her a B.
