Thought I'd add some pictures. Holiday 2010 loot from jchappa - purchased in NY, I believe Next to Kit's baking supplies These are nice and heavy and cute. The paint on the sides seems pretty sturdy. They don't fit easily in a doll's hand, but other than that, they are great.

More pictures of the slumber shirt. I love that the little snaps actually work! The material is soft and heavy, and the tie is long enough so as not to be awkward to actually tie. A+

I love this set as well. It has everything that made PC a quality company. It seems very realistic. The embroidery is nice and has stayed that way with age. The hat has an adjustable back, so it fits secure and there is no worry about elastic rotting. A+

Ruthie is so pretty and fits so well in so many eras. Let me find as many smashing photos as I can. This is Ruthie's modern alter-ego checking into camp this summer.

I love Niña! She is so well-made. I'm not sure how long the little veil would last if I was still 9, but its absolutely gorgeous. There's so much attention to detail. I think she's precious and well worth the money spent. I love that she's soft, her legs are actually sewn apart, and that she has the pantalettes, not just lace. Just in case you were wondering - the pantalettes are not full ones like Josefina's. They only come to her waist.

My Kit has these also. I bought them for Samantha, but they don't fit her PM head well. Just an FYI. They are cute, but super flimsy. I'd give them an A. I'll try and add pics soon!

On my PC Samantha it's ehrm, really snug on her tummy and arms - sometimes the velcro pops open a little in back, but not too bad. I hauled her around quite a bit and posed her in various places in it without too much trouble. Had trouble fitting the old Blue Jeans Basics jeans under it though - but cute overall!

Well, this is the only Mattel outfit I have. Honestly - not too fond of it. I think they would have been better off leaving the velcro off - as my ribbon ties have snagged and its a little snug on my PC girl. It also bunches up around her shoulders and the hand placements are awkward. That said, I do adore the gaiters. Soo cute - and they fit over her boots too. I'm glad too have a cape for her, but I wish it was a little bigger and "flowed" a little better. I'll get a picture up soon. Plaid cape - B- Gaiters - A++ because they are too stinkin' cute!

I love love love these boots! Mine are 15 years old and the buttons are still tight tight tight! The pearlescent coating came off after about three years. I don't remember ever having trouble putting them on, but I suppose maybe when they were stiff and new I did. I love them - and they go great with her school dress. They are my second favorite Sam shoes. grade - A- because of the pearlescent coating issue

I have the 1989 version of this I bought mint from a board member. This has got to be one of my favorite outfits as an adult collector. As I child I loved the pink/pastelyness of Samantha's clothes - but this outfit is such a nice change. My Sam also wears it with her button boots - she looks adorable. My ribbon tie lays nice and flat, and the pleats are looking great. This is really a great outfit! Buster Brown - A++ (Ignore the glasses/toothbrush - this was one of those quick request pictures)

I have this bed. Love the bed, not so fond of the bedding - its a little bulky. Another thing I wish they had done is glue/solder those little ball things on top of the bedposts on. Mine are long gone. Bed - A- Bedding- B

Well, throwing my two cents in. I have a very well-loved tan bodied PM Samantha. Her life as my best friend was not easy - but she still looks pretty good. Her face paint has faded some, but not as bad as I've seen. I looooove her - so its easy to say A+! I also agree with the above poster - the Meet Shoes are gag-me terrible. The right strap broke about a year ago- although it lasted 14 years. ETA Pictures This is an eBay waif. She was stamped PC, but I thought it was fascinating how different her face and coloring was from mine. Poor dear donated her wig and moved on to live with kayaswish. Here are a few of my Samantha. I've been told she has a "sweet" face - but of course I'm biased.
