I play cello, so when AG came out with this set, I just had to have it! But not at the $48 price. Waited and got it on sale in summer(?) 2014 for around $28.
It's plastic, but I like that it's shiny. Good for display, but I'm extremely careful with it. I worry about the "strings" breaking or bending out of place. As well as the bridge getting snapped.
I like that the doll can carry the case, but HA! if the doll is going to carry the case with the cello in it. She has to stand in an awkward position to balance the weight properly. The straps are black elastic, which is nice. Very easy to get on the arms.
The accessories like the rosin and book are nothing special. I like that the rosin comes out of its case though. The book is rather thin and flimsy.
It's nice that all of the pieces can fit in the case, as they would with a real cello. The ribbons to tie the neck in the case are nice so that way it's not bumping around.
A nice set. Mine must be a later version that included 6 petit fours, grouped in threes. I love the fans because they actually open and close! The ice cream is nice to put in the lemonade bowls. The flowers are nothing spectacular, kinda flimsy. The holder can hold the fans open but not the bouquets.
Doll can hold fan closed without a holder or rubberbands.
The set looks great with Samantha's other birthday accessories and furniture.
Tights Set Item# F8166 Her doll will be ready for any occasion with these tights. Includes one black pair with a pretty pointelle pattern, and one white pair with a lovely lace pattern. $5
So got these on one of the Daily Deals in December. Great price.
They come in one of the AG shoe boxes. They're pretty thick tights. I never read the description and was surprised to see that they weren't a pure whte. They are way more ivory. The designs on them are nice.

While a nice piece of furniture, the desk does not get much use around here. It is great for collecting dust, however. Sturdily built. I hate that my dolls butts never touch the seat in a normal sitting position.
The only reason I got this was because it went on sale in December 2014 for $15. It's a good price for that. But wouldn't mind paying the current price as it looks nicer than a lot of the current outfits and includes good shoes.
The skirt is poofy and made of a nice mix of materials. Looks cute. The shirt is simple with the sequins on a bib type thing attached at the top. I worry about them getting mixed up in hair. The shoes are great and well made. Plain design and neutral purple so can mix and match. The barrette is heavy metal, but need to shift it around a little to stay.
I've realised I do not like outfits with white shirts on blonde dolls. It washes out their color. Saige gets this one.
ANY doll looks great in it. I have seen it in person many times at AG and on many different dolls and have not seen it look bad on any of them.
Although the headband is simple and quite boring, it goes along well with the rest of the outfit. The sweater is a bit snug on PM dolls, but looks fine. The skirt is cute, no velcro, very similar to skirts I already own. The shoes are the best part. The design is adorable and they go on easily.

Found the storage part at a thrift store. It was pretty dirty and beat up, but I cleaned it and gave it love and now my dolls are using it as a nightstand.
I like the piece a lot, it's not huge, but can hold a lot and I love the top space you get when you open it up.
I also miss the choker. I don't mind the outfit, I'm just glad Kaya has another. I wish it didn't have snaggy velcro. It is basically the same outfit as the other Pow Wow Dress of Today. It's nice that they made another dress, but I'm glad I got this half off because I wouldn't be dying to get this at full price.
I think this is a cute outfit. It fit Mattel Sam just fine. The bow took a minute to arrange so that it would sit properly. The gaiters work with the plastic mary janes, but feel interesting. Good outfit. I have no clue where to store the hat now.
I got this set for Samantha because it was on sale and looked really cute. I'm glad I got it!
I love that the curling iron is metal and a substantial size. I tried to shape Saige's hair with it and it worked, with Samantha's hair, not so much. I like the comb, but can't figure out how to use it so that it stays with the jewels facing the correct way. The bow is cute and won't lose its shape, but the holder is hard to work with, it won't lay how I want it too, and the tag on the back shows if you have it in Sam's hair like her other bows. But the set is cute and appropriate for Sam to fill in her world.
I found my commode at Goodwill for $1.99 and cannot be more pleased with my purchase. I love that I not have a place to keep Samantha's smaller things! It is missing the towel bar, but the rest is fine.
I love that the drawer is plenty big to hold all the bows with no trouble.
I'd never thought I'd like this, but at half off, why not give it a chance? AND I LOVE IT.
This is such a cute outfit. The color may seem wrong, but it works well with Sam and her collection (old and new).
I was worried about the boot velcro snagging the tights, but you can be careful and have no problems. The dress is very fitted on my Mattel Sam, but cute. I had to look at the stock photos to make sure the bow was supposed to be all facing down funkily. The boots are cute and I love that it comes with tights. The bow is cute too, and I'm glad that mine has all the loops where they should be. I'd just worry that the hair tie will wear out if in too long.
I got this separate from a doll when they first introduced MyAG. It also included a MyAG access code. You could buy it at the store, write down your address, and they would ship it to you from Wisconsin free since they didn't have them in stock in store.
I like it because I have a place to put the charms. My dolls don't wear it unless I just got a new outfit and put the new charm on it. It is oddly cute on the doll though.
This Earring Tree is actually aqua, with the top being a dense foam and the base being plastic. It is extremely easy to put together (2 pieces). It appears to be very durable, and while you can't really play with it, it is a great storage solution. It will help to keep all the little earrings from getting lost. The holes are snug too, so earrings shouldn't fall out with normal play. The base is great because it is like a dish and can hold all the other little jewelry dolls have so they aren't rolling around in the doll outfits. This is a great looking accessory and is a reasonable price.

Her meet dress is really basic. Plain quality, snag velcro on back. My dress is the wings edition.
The tie belt is absolute sh!*. It barely fit when I was able to tie it closed. The holes in the belt rip. And the straps break too. To top it all off, the belt is cracking and shedding black pleather chunks!
The Lime Glasses are the same design as the Peach Glasses that were out a couple of years ago. They are sturdy but pliable plastic, and won't snap. My doll has fallen onto my hardwood floor while wearing them and they are perfect. The color is kind of a lime, but really just a yellow. I don't like Petra, who has blond hair, wearing them because it is a pale yellow and tends to drown out her color.
Very well made and just matches Samantha's perfectly!
I don't know exactly when this is from, as I don't remember getting it, but it's definitely PC, and after so many years there is some slight yellowing. It also has two buttons on the back of the neck. But the fabric is really nice, not super comfy, but basic cotton.
Surprisingly this fits, a little snug around the shoulders. I wouldn't wear this out though, because the bust looks weird filled. But cute and nice quality. Not the greatest material, but hasn't pilled or anything. The little lace triangle at the center is starting to fray.
The girl size version of the grey hoodie from the 2008 Skateboard Outfit, this is cute and well made. Overall it's just a basic hoodie, but that's what I like about it. It's a little small on me, but otherwise it'd be fine. I really like the attention to detail in that the zipper pull is the same shape as on the doll one.
