Her meet dress is really basic. Plain quality, snag velcro on back. My dress is the wings edition.
The tie belt is absolute sh!*. It barely fit when I was able to tie it closed. The holes in the belt rip. And the straps break too. To top it all off, the belt is cracking and shedding black pleather chunks!
The Lime Glasses are the same design as the Peach Glasses that were out a couple of years ago. They are sturdy but pliable plastic, and won't snap. My doll has fallen onto my hardwood floor while wearing them and they are perfect. The color is kind of a lime, but really just a yellow. I don't like Petra, who has blond hair, wearing them because it is a pale yellow and tends to drown out her color.
Very well made and just matches Samantha's perfectly!
I don't know exactly when this is from, as I don't remember getting it, but it's definitely PC, and after so many years there is some slight yellowing. It also has two buttons on the back of the neck. But the fabric is really nice, not super comfy, but basic cotton.
Surprisingly this fits, a little snug around the shoulders. I wouldn't wear this out though, because the bust looks weird filled. But cute and nice quality. Not the greatest material, but hasn't pilled or anything. The little lace triangle at the center is starting to fray.
The girl size version of the grey hoodie from the 2008 Skateboard Outfit, this is cute and well made. Overall it's just a basic hoodie, but that's what I like about it. It's a little small on me, but otherwise it'd be fine. I really like the attention to detail in that the zipper pull is the same shape as on the doll one.
So $10 with a $50 purchase. Includes fleece headband and knit poncho.
God, the headband is ugly. The poncho is cuter than I thought. Looks much better on the doll. Velcro all the way up the back; the no-snag kind. Headband is stretchy band covered with fleece. Fits fine.
Everything is pretty well made, I store all Saige's jewelry in her purse. The gold dangles sometimes twist around, but easily fixable to twist back into place. The bracelet is hell to get on. I don't like these clasps they use.
Love Saige. Not a lot to say. She's beautiful and my first GOTY doll. The only doll I have with pierced ears. Her hair color is near exact to mine! She has a cute head tilt, but does not seem to have even length legs. She can balance fine, but not with both feet flat on a level surface. Her clothes are cute, decent meet outfit. Haven't lost the ring. I prefer to keep it on her pinkie, then it doesn't fall off since you can wedge it up her finger more. The boots are to die for. Want some for me. Her earrings are cute.
The hat is my favourite part. I cannot exclaim in words how much I love the hat. As for the rest of the outfit, it's cute, but finicky. If you want to tuck in the shirt, then you can't tuck in the socks. Oh well.
Got this from the outlet in Summer 2012. I know why so many were at the outlet. The back is cracking. I'll show pictures below. But otherwise it's a nice piece. I like that I can keep the small things in the drawer and it just looks cute. The drawer sticks because of the cracking, but works if you wiggle it out. I still haven't taken the plastic covering off the mirrors.
Nice style of dress. It complements Molly well. I love that it's a full circle skirt. The lace on the neckline doesn't always want to stay down. I am conflicted by the velvet. It looks and feels pretty. But attracts so much dust, lint, and general fuzzies.
The shoes and socks are a nice set. They are shiny black patent Mary Janes with three different pairs of socks. The boring white pair, red rims on white (same as the birthday set socks), and the red argyle ones. My personal favourite is the argyle ones, which when paired with the Molly's Christmas dress look exceptionally festive. The shoes fit alright, but the right strap needs pulling to close, and on the left the toes poke the top of the shoe.
