I love this outfit. It is simple and versatile, while being somewhat classy. I have the basics of the outfit as I got it in a lot; the shoes, pants, shirt, and tank. I love how everything goes together so well, yet can be mix-n-matched with so many different things. The quality is great- fits all types of dolls. The shoes are especially of great quality; sturdy and cute. The wrap top is nice in that it has no velro; it snaps on one side inside and then the other side crosses over to tie on the end in a double knot.

I'm not sure about this one. I didn't see a thread for it, so decided to make one. I'm also not sure if it was offered at any other AGP than Chicago, as I got this around 2002. Well, it's a black and red doll-sized backpack. The straps are thin and adjustable, letting the doll put it on with ease. There is a real pocket on the outside, though small, and "American Girl Place" is stitched along the bottom. The red material seems like a vinyl, and the black nylon. The bag opens on the top with two sets of snaps closing it. The sets criss-cross on the top to secure anything in the bag. While not terribly huge, the bag can hold small doll items such as Jess' Waterbottle. Personally, I like to keep a Presidential Dollar Coin in it. Overall, great quality and highly recommended!

I'm not sure why I got this, but it's in great condition and at only $10 off craigslist I thought it would serve some purpose in my doll world. Eventually. It's pretty cute and made of satin-y material. While nice, this means one has to take care with the velcro on the blouse and jumper. The shorts underneath are adorable and really add authenticity to it being a dance outfit. The headband, while pretty, is so tight on my dolls' heads. I've had to stretch it out a little, making sure not to go too far or snap it. (I don't have the shoes as the seller did not have them to include)

I just have to say: I love these jeans! Finally something normal, that people wear everyday and goes with everything! Normal jeans, worth the price, and they fit perfectly on both PM and Mattel dolls.

The set is very nice, and the best part is its versatility. As it's a "coat" it can go over any outfit, which is killer, as AG coats are always needed for these frigid Midwest winters. But the fact that it's a sweater means that it's worn indoors as well! I think it is of very good quality, with festive details that are not necessarily Christmas-specific. The only thing is that it's a pain to make it stay on a hanger.

I have the Meet outfit only, as it was a PWP in Spring 2011 for $16. Complete too. The outfit is so-so. I like it but it is by no means a favourite. It looks nice on other dolls IMO, just not Chrissa. The dress is a cute cut, and the shoes are nice. I love the ribbons on them. The bracelet I'm not sure of. I like that it's a small accessory, but come on AG! It's just a piece of ribbon!

Received in a craigslist lot, I'm now glad i have an extra pair of undies for when Kaya is in modern clothes and not traditionally commando. The underwear is a cute white/off-white pair with a small screen-print butterfly on the left side. The edges are lined in an orange striped elastic.

I have a few pieces from this set: the shorts, shoes, and sunglasses, all of which I scored in a cragislist lot. The shorts are nice for summer as are the shoes. They aren't sandals but aren't gymshoes either. I like to think of them as something from Lands End or Eddie Bauer. Keens anyone? The shorts are made of what seems to be a "water-proof" material, but they fit well. The sunglasses can fit a bit awkward or perfectly depending on the doll.

I got about half of the set in a lot off craigslist. I love how detailed everything is! I'm so glad i have all the print items as they are by far the best part, besides Toshi that is! I also have the water bottle, nothing special, standard AG grade, but useful with playability none-the-less. The glasses are awkward in fit and look.

I'll fulfill my duty to the board by continuing to review every AG thing I own. And while I funnily enough don't own Jess' Tree Swing, I do own the pillow from the set! I love the pillow though. I got it in a lot that came along with my 3-in-1 bed I got off craigslist. The colors are very nice and the design is ambiguous enough to fit in any style. I like to use the pillow on the chair from the old cabana furniture set. The colors match well.

My favourite outfit of all time! I love this outfit. From the clogs to the apron it is, in my opinion, the best outfit AG has ever made. Not only conducive to baking, the outfit can shed the apron and be that normal cozy ensemble for your doll. The shirt is a nice, simple pale pink with little details on the sleeves. The capris are a great color and fit all dolls perfectly with an elastic waistband. The apron has little pink buttons along the back that actually work with strings; no velcro! The oven mit and the pot holder match the set perfectly, and fit on the dolls' hands well- they don't fall off unless a lot of movement or if you try. I seem to have misplaced my hairties, so we'll skip to the greatest part of this outfit: the shoes! These shoes are indeed the best doll shoes ever made by anyone. They are an amazing quality and made with quality materials. 8 years and no signs of anything falling apart. The green is a soft green felt/fleece/wool material with little embroideries that match exceptionally well with the t-shirt details. They will not fall off regardless of anything. The straps come around the back of the foot and velcros to the other side of the strap. Grade: A+ All of the pieces fit well and look adorable!

This outfit is one of the few that completely epitomizes the early millenium. The long skirt, the matchingness of everything, and just the good memories that it brings. This was actually one of the first outfits I ever bought from American Girl. The skirt is cute and great quality. It can fit on any girl as there is an elastic waistband and the material itself is stretchy. The tank top is basic, with the little line of heart beads across the top. I've always worried about these falling off, but aparently 9 years and they're still fine. The pink shirt/jacket is very bright, and I used to worry about the buttons like the beads, but they are good quality and haven't fallen off despite the years. The shoes are great! Such nice detail in the hearts across the toes and their strong and built to last. The soles are hard plastic, while the pink strap is a little more pliable.

I got this outfit in a lot of things that came with my 3-in-1 bed off of craigslist. While it's not my favourite, bonus: it's complete! The shirt is a cotton black with the ruched sides and sparkly appliques on the front. The pants are very nice because you can have them as capris with the camo print showing or fold them down to be of normal length. They would be better if only they fit dolls well and if the belt didn't stick out when you tied it. Kaya is a very skinny doll and the pants still fit on her weird like they do on a PM doll. The shoes are really the reason to get this outfit. They are great quality, fit easily on any doll, and are adorable; actually look like sneakers. The pink may be overdone, but I can overlook the color for the style and fit. The headband is ok. Nothing special, it looks cute if you can get it to sit right.

Another great set! And added points for AG for not being all pink, having mix and matching potential, and representing a not-that-common sport for young girls! The pieces are really great and can each stand alone. The hoodie is my favourite and the doll can wear it with jeans and a t-shirt like most kids dress. The tank is pink and simple, while the shorts are a pattern and color combination I have not seen elsewhere. The shorts are a squeeze for PM dolls, but the real problem with putting this outfit on PM dolls lies within the shoes. You have to pull and stretch and reposition for 10 minutes just to get them on a PM doll's chunky feet. ETA: I totally forgot to talk about the actual skateboard. I mean, duh, skateboard outfit. I think it's really good quality and very cute. The colors are nice and the coolest thing is when you press down on the deck the axels lock like breaks. Very nice technicality!

A really great quality outfit. There is exceptional mix-n-match potential and the colors are pretty good. The style of the pieces aren't perfect, as the shirt goes over the top of the skirt and can look bunched with the belt tied underneath. The boots are to die for, however! They are great quality and very sturdy. The sole is plastic but seems as though it will hold up to hours of child play. The vest is a nice faux suede and being a tan can match well with other neutral colors.

Well, for $20 off craigslist, I don't mind the outfit. However, it's not my favourite holiday outfit, but it still works well and is cheery. The color is a berry-red smooth velvet dress with a square cut neckline and falls right above the knees. The tights are just basic white tights, nothing special. The jacket is microfiber trimmed with fur and embedded with rhinestones. My favourite part of the outfit would have to be the shoes. Although they fall off easily, they are adorable and complete the outfit. They can be worn without tights to match with other outfits as well. I personally think this first picture is the best way to wear this, sans jacket. Grade: A-

Oh yeah! The denim shirt! There's something incredibly nostalgic about the millenium AGoT outfits and this one is no exception. Excellent quality and coloring in this outfit with great potential for mix and matching. The white shirt is basic and velcros up the back. The skirt is a long crimson red floral print made of a soft cotton material. But, as you can see in the picture, it wrinkles very easily. The jean shirt is my favourite part of this outfit! I love how 90's it is and also how versitle it can be. I like to think that it can be a bit western and country, perfect for one of my characters! Very nice that it has snaps and not velcro, and I like the snaps better than buttons, for it seems the snaps are sturdier. The headband matches the skirt pattern, but is fairly tight and nearly messed up Kaya's braids while I was putting it on. I got this from craigslist and it did not include shoes or the necklace. Grade: A-

Well, my owning of the Paisley Print PJs is the result my buying of the 3-in-1 bed off craigslist, in which the seller threw in about $100 worth of extras. Unfortunately I did not get the eyemask. These PJs are adorable and a great color. I love how they make the doll look very slim in the legs and everywhere else actually. They're a snap to get on, extremely easy with an elastic waist and just stretchy material in general. What's a pain is the slippers. They barely fit any PM doll, but were easier to get on Kaya, a Mattel doll. Which is kind of useless because my PM doll, Petra, is the one who wears these pajamas. Grade: B+

Grade: A+ The grade shall remain the same for me no matter any small flaws because there are a few things that make this outfit Ah-Mazing. The fact that it's not pink is wonderful, the fact that it fits PM dolls is astounding, and the fact that you have endless mix-and-match possibilities is to die for! I love this outfit, I can't rave enough. The hoodie is white and can get dirty easily and it can be difficult to get on, but pair it with jeans and it's perfect. And I don't worry about my doll getting overheated at camp because it is fairly thin and the sleeves are 3/4 sleeves. The shorts are one of the most versitile pieces of clothing I own. The color is rare for AG, so take advantage of the palatte! They velcro closed where the fly would be and can be shorter or longer shorts. The edges fold over and hold closed with a strap that loops through the D-loops. And a big bonus about the sweatshirt and shorts is that the pockets all work! Ah, I love when AG clothes have functioning pockets. The shoes are so worth this outfit. Since I got it they have been on a doll at all times. They are kitcshy, colorful, and rugged. They fit PM feet extremely well and on Mattel dolls just tighten the velcro a bit more. The kerchif, although it can be a pain to get just right, is cute and very nicely complements the outfit as a whole. Great for summer. Great for the outdoors. Just a great outfit in general! Be sure to pick this one up before it says ciao!

Ah the Karaoke Outfit. I have good memories of seeing this in the catalogues on, I think, #13 with her hair up in two little buns, "singing" with the Karaoke Machine. I finally bought the outfit when I saw it listed on craigslist from a seller I had bought things from before. Great condition, I have the dress and the shoes. Although the dress has a funky shoulder cut, I find it to be very good quality and a versitle outfit. It zips up the back with a small zipper and fits well on PC dolls. I can see it as oriental looking, but to me it just screams pure 90's especially with those shoes. My god, the shoes are clunky but so adorable, because really, how often do you have vinyl platform shoes for your dolls? They remind me of shoes my literature teacher wears- they look just like this. Oh and worth the price. Grade: A And here's Petra modeling this fine ensemble, complete with catalogue hair inspiration. I think it looks wicked cute.

The Gardening Outfit was a great value for the money. Not case specific to gardening, the pieces can all be mixed and matched. Basic colors and designs are cute and light. The shirt and pants are made of linen in ivory and lilac, respectively. Although the shirt gets wonky at the bottom easily, the fact that buttons are used to attach it and not velcro makes up for it. The pants have velcro on the front, but they fit easily on all sizes of dolls. The chino style can be used for casual or dressier outfits. The hat is bucket-style and made of straw with a ribbon tie around the base topped with a faux flower. It fits dolls heads well, but in reality it is too tall and therefore must be angled if you want to even see your doll's eyes. The flowers are also on the woven straw sandals. They fit well and don't fall off their feet. Grade: A

One of my favourites, the Flower Garden outfit, while not totally amazing is the perfect spring dress for any doll. The dress is a long cut, silky flowered material that fits well all dolls. An added bonus is that the velcro is no-snag. The bag is indredibly detailed with a cross woven ribbon design. It fits easily over your doll's hand and doesn't fall off. One of the best things is that it is an actual purse that can hold small things; I put a rolled up AG ribbon in mine. The hat is wonderful with vine stiched details. It fits their heads really well and can be positioned in a variety of ways. To top it all off, or in reality bottom it off, the shoes are of incredible quality and versatility. A nice cream vinyl, they secure with snaps and stay on no matter what. Grade: A+

No complaints about this set. Like a few of my other PC items, I got this from a friend when she found out I loved AG dolls. The pieces are very good quality and I would definately buy another set if I wanted to. The pink fleece that is basically the whole outfit is thick and soft. The robe closes with the attached belt, while the slippers close with velcro on the flaps. Everything fits PC dolls exceptionally well, even the robe is big so you have to overlap the sides when tying it closed. I have no trouble getting on the slippers on any doll at all. I don't have the plaid AG pajamas that originally matched it, and I don't pair it with more modern pajamas. Since the robe is so long and the slippers so fuzzy- like slipper socks- I just let my dolls wear the set alone to sleep. Hehe. ;D

Trendy dollies. I remember when this came out in late summer of 2010, because within the week I'd be hitting up AGP- MoA. I bought this there. The outfit is great for the pieces and the coordination of all of them, but the pink and purple, bleh. I like how simple all the components are, just solid colors that can be used for any season or occasion. The white shirt is quality with a velcro back and that darn AG patch near the wrist. I very much appreciate that the skirt does not have velcro, it makes it so much easier to fit on PM dolls. The boots are stylish, if only they would fit PM dolls better, because they fit Mattel dolls perfectly, with no need to pull and strech them just to get the velcro on the back closed. The cape gives the outfit a pattern pop of pink plaid. However, I have no idea how the darn thing is supposted to lay on the doll's shoulders. The catelogues and stores have it displayed in different ways all the time! I ususally let the buttons be in front. Overall, not a bad outfit, in reality I love it and would wear something similar in fall, just not the colors. Grade: A

I got this outfit from a friend when I was about 10. I didn't know what it was at the time, until she gave me a bunch of PC catalogues too. However, I only was given the shirt and dress. Holy '90's! The dress is a colorful fruit pattern that I love. The cut, although long, has managed to retain its cool factor as I deem it "retro". It's just plain cute, and when you pair it with the shirt, even more so. I love that everything fits all girls so well, with no struggle to put anything on. The shirt can even be used as just a plain t-shirt. Hooray for mix-n-matching abilities!

I only have the performance dress and the medal from this set, as I got them in a lot from CL. Either way, I'll review them for the benefit of others. I give the dress a grade A, due to the fact that I have been able to use it as a regular dress or shirt in addition to a skating outfit. The stretchy pink is accented with sequins and a floral applique. The color is vibrant, and although pink, doesn't bother me as some of the other pink hues AG has put out. I would have given it a few more points if only I wasn't constantly worrying about the bottom fraying. The ends of the sheer tule are not hemmed or finished in anyway, so watch out for snagging. The medal shocked me, being that it is made of actual metal! Very good quality. The rhinestone bobby pins are cute and well made. Kaya was willing to model the fashion.

Grade: A+ This outfit is great for mix and matching. I love it together, but when you take the basic pieces and match them with other clothes, it's awesome. The jean jacket can be used for any season, the coconut t-shirt has the glittery detail, and the pockets on the pants aren't fakers. The shoes are cute, but they don't always stay on. But they're sandals and they match a bunch of things. The hairtie is fragile so watch out for that so it doesn't unravel. I lost the watch unfortunately.

Well here's Petra Allegre Anders for you all: A+ She's a Transition #12 and I love her to pieces. I got her on my 8th birthday at AGP-C in 2001. So therefore I've had her for nearly 10 years. :O Her hair does shed a bit, but it doesn't seem as bad as others have described, only some uneven ends. The only complaint I have is that it's difficult to fit her feet into some of the more recent shoes (those canvas sneakers from the skateboarding outfit are killer ). What I really love is that her bangs and hair in different styles really highlight how many different personalities she can have. *mod edit to remove dead image links*
