Although I love my Maryellen dearly and she will be staying put at my house regardless, I want to add a review about some hair issues she has. She is definitely a doll that will look best with her hair down or in a ponytail.
She has a few short hairs in the back, but not enough to cover her wig cap, and the short hairs kind of stick out every which way instead of laying neatly.
Her wig cap also seems a good deal darker in color than her hair - it's a dark brown color, so if you can see any part of her wig cap after styling, it will stick out like a sore thumb.
Also, due to issues with her bangs, she really is a good doll to pick out in person - I was fortunate to find one whose bangs lay very neatly, but most of the ME dolls had some seriously crazy bangs:

Here's my Lydia in this outfit. It's super cute and good quality. The hoodie is a little difficult to get on.

Sorry for crappy cell phone pictures, but I wanted to take a couple Caroline/Lanie comparison photos. My Caroline's hair is definitely a shade or two lighter than Lanie's, though it doesn't show as well in photos as in person.

Just wanted to add a couple Kanani pics, plus some Kanani/Marisol comparison shots. Kanani is a beautiful doll, but her hair and skin color is nearly identical to Marisol's!

Kit's Desk and Chair is an incredibly detailed and well made piece that is suitable for either historical or modern dolls. I love it and highly recommend it! A+ The swivel chair: The desk with laptop and a few books: Lydia googling something while Ruby looks over her shoulder: Comparison pic of Desk with my human sized rolltop desk: Comparison pic with the top open: The dolls have no trouble sitting in the chair: Did I mention how much I love this desk?!

I love this outfit! The colors are perfect for Lanie (and Sonali) and the butterfly hair clip is a cute extra. I love the fabric of the orange jacket, though I'm not sure how to describe it! Here's a pic:

Lindsey's scooter is really cute and works great as a display piece. It seems to roll pretty well too, so it should be fine for play also. Here's a pic of Mari and the new scooter:

Well, I have nothing to add to the reviews here, but since I just got done taking some pictures of my Sonali, I thought I'd put them up here. For anyone who is undecided about Sonali, this is a truly gorgeous and unique doll!

This dress is great quality, and lots of value for your money! When I saw it was sold out online until July due to high demand, I called my PS right away to snag me one from the AG store. It was well worth the $24 and shipping. The headband is great, perfectly sized. I don't feel like I am going to leave permanent indents on the doll's head like I do with some other AG headbands. The shoes are cute, and have an elastic band in back to help them stay on...however, I think even with that there is a good chance the shoes could get lost with active play or when traveling. The little bracelet is a fun extra...I expected it to be elastic, but it actually has a tiny clasp. Here's some pics of Marisol in her new dress: Front Back Headband Shoes Close up of fabric/bow Marisol looking gorgeous ETA I also love the contrast between the headband and dress...the headband is a leopard print while the dress is zebra print, but they work together beautifully.

Well, I definitely like this outfit more than I expected to! I actually got it with Emily in mind, although I don't have her yet. But it looks great on Molly in the meantime! The sweater is very thin compared to what her meet sweater is made from, and I can see how snagging the sweater on the velcro could be a problem unless you are very careful with it. I didn't have any trouble getting Molly into the outfit, but I couldn't get the skirt over the bloomers...had to do the skirt first and THEN add the bloomers. I thought the shoes were fairly easy to get on - comparable to Molly's blue saddle shoes. Overall, I give it an A-, only because I think the sweater will snag easily. Here's some pics...I realized after looking at everyone else's that Molly had her skirt on backwards here (oops!), but you get the idea! The shoes (these are not the socks that come with the outfit): The back:

I have this outfit and love almost everything about it. The color is great on Molly, the shoes don't fall off like many of the AG sandals do, and the towel is a cute, contrasting addition to the set. My only complaint is actually a pretty mild one and not related to the quality of the outfit at all...I got the idea from Molly's books that she is "blind as a bat" without her glasses. So what's with the sunglasses? Are we supposed to assume they are prescription sunglasses lol? But other than that, great set...I give it an A.

I just got Emily's Tap Outfit today - don't have Em yet but I'm trying to get most of her clothes first. I think it's incredibly cute and looks great with Molly's Tap Outfit. I had a lot of trouble getting it on though - in fact, one of the seams on the white skirt just below where the velcro ends started to rip in the process. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a trick to getting it on? I think my Molly doll is pre-mattel...I got her in early 1998, but she doesn't usually have any trouble getting into Mattel clothing.
