My mom has it and it is really well made and sturdy.

Kaya modeling some Samantha clothes: Kaya in play dress: Kaya in birthday dress (homemade version, but it'll give you an idea): Kaya in tea dress: Middy dress too. I think Kaya looks adorable in Sam's clothes.

The Denver store has the same design choices as the current ones in Chicago. I found the tees to be well made. Thin, but not flimsy. They even have a little tag that says "American Girl" on the side. I do wish there was more picture choices and ones without words. But it was fun to pick and watch the store employee put the design on the tee.

This is a really cute swimsuit; fits well and seems to be well made. The colors are nice and vibrant and the material has a nice stretch to it. The shorts work well with a t-shirt as well. The headband is tight and I haven't bothered with it yet.

This is a well made outfit consisting of a striped knit tank that velcros in back; pink knit capris that have elastic at the hem and waist; and periwinkle slip-on sneakers. The tank isn't too thin and fits nicely. I think the logo is an iron-on and would be pretty tough to remove cleanly. The logo on the capris is the same as the tank. For 24$ I think it is well worth it and give it a solid "A".

The romper is pretty snug fitting on newer dolls so I don't think it will fit on chubbier dolls. That being said it is an adorable outfit and well made. The hat is precious and could go with a variety of outfits. My #2 Angelica has laid claim to the outfit in my house.

One thing to be careful about this outfit, is that the skirt can be snagged very easily. Also the snaps and buttons tend to come loose, but those can be easily sewn back on.
I love this outfit, but my girls rarely wear it because of all the snags.

I just purchased this gown (June 2010), though I know it will grow on me, I was disappointed in a few things. One: the stomacher attaches with velcro rather than snaps. It's secure but seems to sit rather low on her chest. Two: the necklace is too large. Three: the smell of the fabric is horribly strong. I really hope that does not last or rub off onto any other clothes.

This doll is such a cutie! So much spunk in her. I find her hair pretty easy to work with, just spritz and retwist. But a younger collector might have trouble keeping it nice. Since there is no comparison pictures yet, here's one of Jess and my #44, Jocelyn. Her skin is only a shade darker then the light skin, with maybe an olive undertone? And because this girl is just too cute. www.flickr.com/photos/clemenfox/sets/72157623969053790/
