I have a Mattel version of this dress. My Molly is a PM, so it's pretty snug on her, but I agree it is gorgeous, even though the velvet tends to attract pet hair.

I love my Kit! She is so cute! She hasn't stopped asking for clothes since she came home, but she's very happy to be the center of attention right now!

Having been an Irish dance fanatic for half my life, I knew I had to have Kathleen when I saw her. She was the first doll in my collection, and the only doll in the product line that has truly interested me. I love her, but I do wish that these dolls were more play-with-able. Her limbs can move, but seem like they will easily break if moved too far. Her cap is attached to her head, and there is no way to remove her ghillies (dance shoes) that I know of--at least, not if you wanted to put them back on later. She comes with a medal to hang around her neck. I have also read her book many times. It is very good, but reads very quickly. I wish that each doll came with a series of books like the historicals--I wasn't ready for Kathleen's adventures to end when I had finished the book!
