This dress is quite pretty. My SIL dressed it on her Mia and it looks awesome.

But, before anybody DOES fall head over heals with Lindsey, I do find her hair on the difficult side. I like Kit's or #28's hair a lot more.

I quite like this outfit, but the boots are odd. I did mix and match this outfit a bit to see what it would look like with other combos, here is what I came up with-

AGP has new denim capris. They cost $12, have red stitching, real belt loops, and fold down cuffs. The only bad thing about these capris is that they are really really tight! Grade: B (for being on the small side) Here are a few photos-

*mod note: unsure of official name ... photos of packaging or tag with name requested ... please post or send PM to moderator - thank you! This new red starburst shirt is an AGP exclusive. It costs $8, has 3/4 length sleeves and a tie on the side. This shirt is quite cute, I like the wide neckline. I didn't, however, like the tie, so I cut it off. Grade: A (and it is not pink!) Sorry these photos were taken after I snipped the tie off-

They are tight, soft, and remind me of dance pants. The cutest part of these pants are the gathered pockets, and the fold down waist. They cost $8 and are adorable. Grade: AHere are a few photos-

These are really cute. I would totally wear jammies like this. They cost $16. The leggings seem really tight on my girl though. Grade: A- (because of the tight leggings) Here is a photo-

I just got the hoddie from the AGPNY and it looks to be the same color as the one pictured above. I think it was $10. I really love it, and wish they made it in girl sizes. Grade: A
Here are two photos of Violet wearing it: And the hood has a silkscreened star-

Released Spring 2008, retired 2013.
When it’s time for Kit to make preserves with her Aunt Millie, she uses everything in this set. Kit can cook up some fun in the kitchen with these accessories: 2 bunches of pretend peaches and tomatoes A strawberry-print apron with contrast skirt and straps 2 jars with peach and tomato wedges inside A metal strainer that can hold the produce while Kit gets it clean A cream-colored mixing bowl and a blue metal pot with white speckles F6581 $34I was thrilled to see that Kit's new items had to do with her story. In Kit Saves the Day Kit and her family are in the process of canning. I loved that the new accessory set had to do with that part of her story. Overall I give this set a B. The price is high for how many pieces are plastic. The jars are plastic (oh I wish they were glass!) as well as the bowl. The colander is metal and the pot is metal. The jars don't open, so the fruit inside is stuck. The whole fruit is stuck together, but is cute. The apron is adorable.Kit wore the apron from this set in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl movie/DVD. And a photo- Mod edit to remove broken photo link

Ruthie was released in 2008 and retired in 2014.
Your Ruthie doll is 18" tall with wavy dark-brown hair and gray eyes. Ruthie is Kit's best friend from 1934. She comes in a pretty purple dress, a purple hair bow, blue socks and black shoes. She is so pretty, her hair is dark! Almost as dark as JLY #25's. I'd say it is Jess's color and her eyes are gray. Her hair is curly and easy to style, and will look good in lots of styles. I love Ruthie's meet dress because it is light and summery. The cotton is thin and soft, similar to Egyptian cotton. The detailing is cute, and Ruthie looks fantastic in purple. I give Ruthie a B just because she has gray eyes instead of the beautiful brown that is shown in her books. Otherwise she is perfect!

I just got one today (February 2008) straight from AG. It was in a new box with a new pamphlet and it is wood! Heavy and nice with real metal. No plastic whatsoever. This is one of my top five accessories. I'm so glad I finally ordered it.
It didn't come with a recipe card however. I would love a scan if anybody is willing to do that.

I quite like them, I mix and match them with everything, even if they don't match. I few of my favorite outfits to mix these with are the jeans (with any top), Kailey's meet dress, and shorts of any type. I think the elastic and embroidery is nice and sturdy. I love these shoes, I give them a B, just because the price is a little high. Here are a few photos.

We think this set is great for Marisol. I do think it is a little LOW cut in the front. I feel like her chest is hanging out of it. I think you might have the leotard on backwards! The back is low cut, the front is nice and high.

Santa's Helper outfit is very cute. I love the color of red, it strikes me as the color of candied apples. I'm sure Violet is going to be thrilled to have this outfit in her wardrobe. I love that the gold embroidery on the bottom of the dress goes all the way around the dress instead of just being in the front. The belt also goes all the way around. Although it is not removable it does wrap the entire way around the waist. The black books are must haves, they look great on, and are very versitle. I love the fake fur on the hat and sleeves, but the fur on the sleeves is too thick and won't fit through the Velveteen coat sleeve well. This means that Violet will not likely be wearing both outfits at once. I also love the hat and scarf. I wish this outfit came with a little extra, like a Santa mug or a roll of wrapping paper and tape. One of the things I love with the Let is Snow PJs is the little Coconut Mug, I wish all the outfits came with a little accessory. Grade: A

The Velveteen Coat is another great set, and it is so classic! One thing I didn't like about it was the price, it seems kinda steep for just the coat and boots. The coat is beautiful, and fully lined. The buttons are real, so there is no Velcro on the entire coat. The boots are just as cute, I love tall boots. The hair ties are really annoying, because they are too short to be pulled around the hair twice, but too loose if you only wrap them around the hair once. I'm not sure I'll use the hair ties much. Again, I would have loved this outfit to come with a little something else, like a Caroling book or a string of Christmas lights. All in all it is very cute. Grade: A- (because of the hair ties and the price). Traveling Lily was kind enough to model the Velveteen Coat. She wore it with 2005's Christmas outfit, the black and cream one, it goes perfectly with this coat. Unbottoned: Over her sholders:

AG has changed Kit's Amelia doll. Now her coat is no longer removable, and neither is her hat. I could easily clip a couple of threads connecting her had to her head and remove it, but what really bugs me it the coat. Amelia's arms are way too short and her hands don't even poke out of the bottom of the sleeves. Her gloves look useless flapping there without any hands in them.
Needless to say, I'm going to return this version of the doll, and head to ebay.

I also love this outfit, it looks good on and Victorian girl. The bow bugs me a little bit, but I love the shoes! I think they go perfectly with this dress.
The yoke is so detailed, and the sleeves are just beautiful.
