I waited a long time to get Molly's bed because I thought it sounded sort of blah. I would never pay full price for it, but I got great deals and now have two. I love Molly and Emily's room with the nightstand and dressing table. One of these days I plan to make sheets for all the beds, but for now, I am just happy to have the beds.

I tried this on Josefina for the first time today. I like the dress and think all the extra touches - bows, trim and matching burgundy sleeve accents, inset upper bodice withdouble ruffled collar, black bow - make this a special dress. The socks were very hard to get on my 2002 version and struggled to get shoes on over the socks. After 10 minutes, I gave up. Where is a dolly shoehorn when you need one? I ended up with no socks. I will try it on tomorrow with her pantlettes.
Overall grade is a A, the shoes and socks fit issues are my only downgrades.

I got my Ruthie today. For the most part, I am very happy with her. My only disappointment is her hair. It was not very curly out of the net. I will try misting and finger curling tomorrow. She seems to have less hair than some of the other dolls. Overall I am pleased and I now have her whole collection. I still want to get Kit's new school outfit for her as I think it is more quited to her than Kit. Sometime this summer, I will send Ruthie and Brenna (#21) to mstangledweb for an eyeswap. Then, Ruthie will be Shirley Ruth, my mother's look-a-like and personality twin. (Brenna will end up with the gray eyes which are closer to my youngest DD. She will be her twin. )

I have the Mattel version and love it. I do not think I would seek out the PM version as I am very pleased with the one I have.

This is my favorite JLY outfit...I am having a hard time getting the beret to go on the head. I love it on Josefina and Jess the most. The skirt is short, but everything seems to fit well.. I think the is A+++

The under skirt is a soft cream..it is heavier than a batiste, lighter than a chintz. It has an elastic waist and there is about 5/8" lace trim around the bottom of the underskirt.
I think Elizabeth should have the palomino horse for riding. This outfit is so pretty on her and I think the lighter horse would compliment her

I had not planned on getting this outfit. DD loved it. It was much cuter in person than on-line or in the catalogues. Overall, I am please with it. I substituted her body suit for the shirt and I really like the eyelet with the cords and chaps. I like the purple boots.

I love this set; however, my fat fingers have a tough tie with the garters...and I am old enough to remember the days before pantyhose..stockings and garter belts!!! The details in this set are great. I reall like it when AG does butons and buttonholes instead of hair and clothes snagging velcro

I love this dress. I purchased this dress before I got Samantha. It looks really nice on Elizabeth and she was th first one to wear it at my house as she really doesn't have anything casual of her own. When Samantha arrived last weekend, I treid all of the outfits I have accumulated for her. After the "photo shoot", I put her back in this dres. She looks so young and innocent. Like Pollyanna. If you have not gotten this dress yet, GET IT!!!

This outfit was introduced as the Party Dress & Spencer Jacket in 1999 for $22. In January 2009 the name changed to Party Outfit and sold for $28. Retired in December 2014.Josefina’s party dress was inspired by the fashions of women who visited from Mexico City wearing the latest European styles. It’s made of pale pink calico with a raised Empire waist and tabbed trim. Her fitted black spencer jacket is as flattering as it is fashionable.I love this outfit. The scoop neck empire waisted dress is a soft pale pink with delicate flowers on vines. The hem has beautiful detail with 3 tucks and a scalloped trim. The trim is repeated around the high waist seam. The skirt is actually pleated at that seam. The short jacket is a beautiful soft wool /wool blend and is fully lined. The sleeves of the jacket are velcro under decorative button trim. The front of the jacket has 4 tiny buttons that actually are buttons with buttonholes. The bottom band of the jacket has the asymmetrical detail with the tab to the right of center. The tab has a snap closure. This looks beautiful on. I do pair this with the soft beige fringed shoes from Josefina's shoes and socks and her ruffled pantalettes from her Christmas outfit. I will post pics later See album link in message dated 10/7
