This item was released in February 2015 and retired in 2017. It was part of a BeForever release that included Samantha's Garden Gazebo, Outdoor Serving Set, Summertime Treats, and other items. From the March 2015 catalog: Samantha can have a sweet celebration with faux petits fours served on a plate with a doily. Two drinking glasses come with a matching vase for the flowers Samantha picked that morning. Includes a lacy fan and a pair of napkins. $45The plate is nice and heavy. The petit fours are bright and colorful. I love the pastel colors. The glasses and vase are plastic. They're sturdy enough. You don't have to worry about them toppling over. The bouquet of flowers are pretty and fill the vase nicely. The napkins are huge but well made. The fan is nice. I actually prefer this one over the ones that come with the original party treats. I only wish they included two fans instead of one. This is a nice set. Of course it's not as fancy as her original lemonade set and party treats. But these may be a good substitute if you missed out on those. Glasses and flowers Petit fours Napkins Samantha celebrating with her friends a few years ago.

I'll just add a few pictures.
The coin is actually plastic. Love the necklace. This is the only part of the set that I use the most.

I loved this outfit since I first saw it in a member's preview pics of the Columbus store opening. I like the fact that AG chose colors other than pink, purple, or "berry." Its a simple outfit that looks like something little girls would actually wear. AG describes the pants as skinny jeans, but they feel more like regular pants. They have the AG logo on the back near the waistband and were easy to get on and fit well. I couldn't quite capture the color in my photos. The stock photos show the true color. The hoodie was a pain in the behind to pull over her head. It messed up her hair. I wonder how I'm going to get it off. But once on it fits and looks great. This gets an A from me. I had close up of the shoes but i'm having issues editing it. I may add it later.

I love the velvet dress it looks beautiful on pretty much any doll. But I must say that I especially love it on Nellie. It really brings out the color of her eyes.

Adding a couple more photos to show variation in lace. I got mine for Christmas in 1996.

I’ve been meaning to add a comparison of two of Samantha’s lockets for a long time and just got around to doing it. The first one, locket A, came with her accessories straight from AG. The second one, locket B, I ordered as a replacement part because I wasn’t satisfied with locket A. They were hard to photograph because of the glare, but I did the best I could to capture the differences. Locket AIt is much darker than locket B. It’s more of a brassy color. This locket does not snap close. It came on a card marked American Girl. The heart and leaf design is not as defined and can be seen on the inside of the locket. The link between the brooch and the locket appears to be a little shorter. There’s a bigger space between the pin and the brooch, which causes it to hang forward instead of flat against the dress. The pin on locket A closes on the doll’s right. Locket BThis one is a lighter, golden color. It’s hard to see the difference in photos. You can actually hear this one snap together when closed. The design is much more defined than Locket A. You can’t see the design on the inside of the locket. There is just a smooth surface. I already pasted Sam’s pictures inside so there’s no pic of this. There’s less space between the pin and the brooch. It hangs flat against Samantha’s dress. The pin on this locket closes on the doll’s left. This one came on a card marked Pleasant Company. Locket A on the left(Grade F-), Locket B on the right(Grade A)

I love the style of this dress. The material is nice and thick and it looks adorable on Samantha. The only flaw I can find is that the sleeves are a little short. When I use the hat I pull the back of it over Samantha ponytail. That usually helps to keep it in place.

This item was released in 1991 and paired with Samantha's Tea Dress. It retired in 2008 with the first archival of Samantha's collection.
Samantha’s shiny white patent slippers are trimmed with bows that match her tea dress. How pretty!I just recieved these from American Girl last week. I would definately recommend these to any Samantha collector. These are white mary jane shoes with a tiny pink ribbon attached to the strap of each shoe. The straps have a velcro closure. They easily slide onto my PM Samantha's feet. The only complaint I have is that I can see the outline of Samantha's toes through the front of the shoe. This probably won't happen with a Mattel doll with smaller feet. Grade: A
