I put the coin in the pocket that held the pictures in the scrapbook. Probably doesn't go there but I figured I wouldn't loose it then.

The Holiday treats are just wonderful and so different from the stuff comming out lately. It contains a real porcelain bowl, a real wood candle holder although painted with that heavy lacquer that kind cheeps it, a real wood tray nice wood too, cookies permanently fused together but look yummy nevertheless, a real and surprisingly heavy metal tea kettle I think you could boil real tea in it but I wouldn't recommend it, two cups the same as the ones from her old pottery set but the porcelain is a little less grainy and the picture is a little different, a table runner not much different then the old one except dark blue a green striped and no fringe, five candles look like the same ones that were in her candle holder from her night time necessities although they might be smaller. Also apples also fused together. On a whole the set is vary nice the food is cute aside from them being together it what it is it at least it is set in the bowl and tray to scale I really can be a downer on this since all the food now is like this and from a collectors standpoint I guess it is not really important at least they still can be removed from the serving tray and bowl. The other stuff is wonderful it reminds me of the older stuff with it made out of real porcelain and wood instead of plastic I would have preferred the apples to be loose though. All in all I am not disapponted in the least the stuff is real it has great merit and I am proud to serve my dollies it. A+

Bed

I love Kirsten's bed I think Kristen may be the space saver queen of the AG dolls due to the bed fitting nicely into the trunk so easy storage yet look great when it is was out. I remember when I first got it and I was putting the bed away and my hubby came in saying. "Wow her bed fits into her trunk." I have always enjoyed that due tot eh limited space I have in my doll room.

I am just glad they put her out. They said they would no longer make mini dolls of the friends and I thought they were going to stick to this when a mini Ivy was never made. I am glad at least that they made Ruthie aside from the fact that it has a bit off scale fabric. I think they had trouble finding scaled down cloth. I also think it might have been a last minute thing. As in, "We got the mold put her out. What is the worst that can happen?" The rest I am going to remain undecided the plastic Mary Janes are still ugly even small I am glad the larger doll doesn't have them. B+

I loved this outfit. What I like most was the fact that there was velcro up the back of the sweater now I don't have to worry about Molly getting her hair mused or her glasses bent getting this outfit on or off. I love the fact that dress feels and looks like it is made of wool instead of the printed stuff which bothered me when I got Nellie Christmas outfit. I love the shoes. (Did the blue ones get discontinued?) I also liked the red ribbons because if your Molly is like mine you would be happy with new ribbons too. The socks are okay although I put her long red socks from her underwear set on. This outfit would be great for people who enjoy Molly in her era sweaters and skirts and are like me terrified of putting her meet outfit on. I personally could totally see this outfit becoming her new Meet Outfit it is so Molly.

Released in 2008, retired in 2009 with archival..
Kirsten loves to wear this outfit for special days. It includes: A paisley dress with puffed sleeves and a full skirt. 2 blue hairbows to tie back her braids. A beautiful muslin apron that’s embellished with Swedish patterns. A pair of faux wooden shoes her father “painted” with traditional designs.
The dress is really pretty in its simplicity if you were looking for a flamboyant dress you might want to look elsewhere. The apron is nice too a printed pattern but nice anyway. I was really looking forward to was Kirsten finally getting wooden shoes something to show her swedish heritage. I knew going into buying the outfit the shoes were not going to be real wood so when they came plastic I wasn't disappointed. They said it was faux wood. Is that want they call it? I call it plastic but call it what you wish. They skimped a little on their research though. From what I heard the wooden shoes went over the regular shoes which is understandably a mistake I could live with. What I can't seem to stomach is the fact that they don't go over her socks either. I had to remove Kirsten's sock before I could get the shoe on..wooden shoes over bare feet...ouch.

This set was introduced in 2008 and retired in 2015.
When Kaya is gathering firewood, she looks for these baby animals: A bear cub with tan ears, dark fur, and big brown eyes A soft, brown, speckled fawn A furry, white bunny
I am sorry I cannot post pictures I wanted to give my review of Kaya's Animals as they came today. There are three a deer/fawn and I suppose bear cub too small to be a full bear and a little white bunny I believe they used the pattern from Nutmeg (Julie's Rabbit) with stick up ears although I am trying to figure out what a white rabbit would be doing in Native American times in the wild. I mean unless it's a snowshoe rabbit (rabbits that become white during the winter) a long way away from home. I cannot see how a rabbit that is white can survive too easy for a predator to see. It is for what it is pretty cute all in all. I cannot say anything bad about aside from what you can see in online or in the catalog it is up to you if you want it. I personally would have preferred an outfit or a carry thing like a trunk. Accuracy grade: C the cub and fawn are not bad. Worth the money: B you know what you are getting Cuteness factor: A

I got her a couple of days ago and I have to say she is one the prettiest dolls I have seen. Clearly worthy of the name Princess Ruthie. Her hair is a soft dark brown I don't like the gray eyes and they should have been brown maybe they thought she would be to close to their flagship doll Samantha. Or maybe they thought she would be too pretty and no one would look at the other dolls. Her dress reminds me of her dress it the first book "Meet Kit" only with purple instead of the yellow. Now for the book two words Loved It . In my opinion better then even the core doll "Kit"'s books. Although only a few will agree with me there I know. One thing Ruthie is the central character and Kit is not even a secondary character like the core dolls usually are in the friend books. The date confuses me it says 1932 which doesn't seem right maybe someone can help me see this since is seems to take place after Kit's Surprise but Kit wasn't there Christmas eve and Ruthie was. And I know it didn't take place before that because Kit wasn't having problems then...I could go on but I would ruin the book for most. All in all the book was wonderful and really showed Val Tripp's wit that she uses with such flair.

Grade B i liked the accessories after Emily's Meet Accessories I almost never wanted to buy another. The purse reminded me so much of my Grandma's purse. The watch is heavy and although it never shows up in the book the time on the watch is important part in the story. The purse and handkerchief also is shown the barrettes are the only down note in this set in my opinion they don't show in the story and they look horrible on her I rather put in the ribbon. I do agree with Kris though if you are not sure about this item don't you NEED to get it. The accessories to me seem to bet not as important to get as they once were.

Yes, I am extremely upset at these Meet Accessories. When I had first heard about them I was thinking oh, english dog tags how adorable and so perfect. White cardiigan well okay and oh, they decided to take my idea of the scrapbook I thought that would be too hard to get the rights to the pictures. When I opened my meet accessories I couldn't have been more disapponted and angry. First the scrapbook although a few nice pictures I think the idea of us having to attach them its stupid they should have a few already done and at least make them LOOK like they are cut from magizine articles. If you look at the scrapbook in the Molly book you would notice they have articales attached they should have been better. The coin was okay (the best thing in this set IMHO which is saying a lot.) Ration book is what it is. Note from Mum does look like it's printed from a computer. When I got to the things that I was looking forward to the most I nearly burst into tears. The dogs COULDN"T HAVE BEEN MORE HORRABLE TRASH GARBAGE IF THEY TRIED. I tossed them into dust bin where they belong. The sweater (or jumper has they call it) had HUGE holes all over it like it had been attacked by moths. I was thinking, "is this supposed to be like this? Did she wear it from England or something?" No the trading cards said she got it here. Hope she didn't pay much for it. I sent it back (had to pay for shipping because heaven forbid they might pay for there mistakes which I am guessing is so frequent that they are loosing money.)and they sent me another with holes in it these are near the button holes though so they are not quite so visable. I am not spending more money to send them the garbage back a third time I am unempolyed Dog Groomer I just don't have the money.

Very sturdy more so then any others I put Emily on his back yesterday and she is still there. I belive most of the reason is the large hooves, about the size of a quarter. Also Emily is ridding bareback and she is prefectly balanced on his back. Which on the older molds only Kaya manged to stay on straight and that is only because of the saddle.

I have just bought the horse and I have to say he is amazing! Larger then all the other horses it might have something to do with it beeing male The legs are stocker and the hooves must be THREE TIMES the size of the orginal AG horse. There are horse shoes molded on and plainted sliver and they look like real horse shoes with nails in them there is even a frog (for non horse people that is the shock asorber part of the hoof shaped like a triangle.) I love the action pose they have him in even the head is turned slightly giving the look as though it is nodding and the color is amazing looking at Penny and then looking at Jackson you can see how far AG horses have gone. While Penny is black horse with white and black hooves all the same size and a brown coat with sold black mane making her look quite boxy in color. Jackson had a yellow gray ears and muzzle with light pinkish around the nose and mouth. The yellow tan (I don't think he is a light-chocolate-milk color at all) coat, down near the legs gets darker until it hits the legs. Athough in the catalog the legs look a little more blended then on the real horse but I am not upset in the slightist. Three socks and one leg with none more realistic. Also around the muzzle is the same blending. Another amazing thing in the mane two-tone light brown (Molly hair color) with almond-blond streaks. Which I love and wish I could see this on a doll. The bridle although looks WAY more western then previous bridles there is still a nose band and head band but give them some credit it seems they tried this time. As for nose band I think it had more to do with tecnical then inaccuracy since the horse is mouthless by design so it is either noseband or have the horse look when the bridle is off in a state of perpetual astonishment with it's mouth open. To keep the horse AG they have tiny stars decorateing the the places where the nose band and head band meet. The blanket it quite nice and I got a look at the saddle which is really sweet with rinestones set into it. I wonder why the catalog didn't mention them they are really sweet. I love this horse and I hope they will do more with this mold I think it would look great as Blackie Kirsten's horse.
