Version II Like with Kit, I'm so glad I got the original version. I prefer NOT having the food clumped together. I love the detail on the sandwich. Again, I was young when I got this, and I loved it so much that I had my mom pack PB&J, carrot, celery, pear and cookie for lunch for me at school the next day!

One of my all time favorite Kit items!! The book is actually relevant and has some cool passages. The multiplication table and note pad are easy to use, and I had fun filling out the report card (I gave her a good report of course!). But the pencil box is my favorite part! I love the pen (though I wish it really worked), pencils, eraser, ruler and crayons!

I have the original set and I'm so glad I have it instead of the new version. I much prefer the food NOT clumped together. The food is realistic looking. I was little when I got it and I liked it so much I asked my mom to pack me a cheese sandwich, apple, carrot and cookie for lunch the next day!

The harmonica really works! It's definitely my favorite thing in the collection. I like the lantern too, but it's not as easy to use as some of the other flashlights. The bag and canned food are realistic. The binoculars really work too!

I like the book, the film and the camera case, but the camera is VERY fragile. I would NOT recommend buying this for young children as the camera could easily be crushed.

Love this set! The typewriter is heavy and if you push one key, it pushes down the whole row, but other than that, no complaints! Love the box, Kit's "newspapers" and the eraser - which really works!

Posie was the first AG pet I got! I love her to this day. She's so soft and realistic looking. I love her wreath too. The girls love her too!

I love Sombrita. She's so cute. She's a little heavy, but still cute. She's also very soft. I love her yellow eyes and the bell around her neck!

Love this set!! The iron is heavy, as Breeze said, but it's very pretty. The waffles acutally fit in the iron. The cream looks so delicious and the other stuff it comes with adds to how much fun it is to use.

Official description: This kit contains everything your American Girl needs to explore the great outdoors. Binoculars, a map, and a working flashlight and compass help her find her way through the woods. Back in her tent, she can record the day’s adventures with a journal and pen. Everything fits inside a mesh case! My comments: I give it an A! My parents gave it to me right before I went to sleepaway camp for the first time so I could feel like my dolls were going too and that made me so excited! Everything works great - and they're all my favorite colors!

I much prefer this to Molly's new "birthday set." I've managed to lose the candles but everything else is in this picture. If you get it, I recommend not opening the crackers or blow outs because they don't look as nice when you put them back together (as shown in my picture - I regret opening them). I love the cake, it looks so good! The favors are appealing and the flowers are pretty.

One of my favorite accessories of all time! Since I love baking, this was a great addition to my collection! The cookies are so cute, and the cookie cutters actually work! Also a big fan of the basket, tin, doily and rolling pin. I wish AG still had a set like this!

I got these when I realized so many of my dolls needed pajamas. I love the top, the coconut/ snowflake design is so cute. I think it would be cooler if the leggings matched though. I also love the red slippers with Coconut's face. Here they are on Allie:

Last year I didn't have Emily and got Emily's holiday outfit for Kylie. Since I have Emily now I needed to get her another holiday dress so I decided to get her Julie's. My one complaint is I have trouble with the shoes. Other than that, I love the outfit, especially the jumper and the tights, and definitely recommend it.

Emily's pajamas are very cute and soft. I haven't had problems with the buttons and they look great on Emily. I recommend them.

I don't have Rebecca but Emma needed pajamas, so I searched the AG website and decided these would be perfect for her. They did not disappoint. I was worried because they're only one piece, but they're still easy to use. They're very pretty too! I just may have to get the robe and slippers. EDIT: They look great on Kylie as well!

The red holiday dresses are always amazing. I put this dress on Emma, my #39, to try it out and now I don't want to take it off. But I took it off and it's put away until December The dress is gorgeous, the shoes match it, the tights aren't difficult to use and the headband's pretty (once you cut the tag off). Get it!

I'm not a fan of Julie, but I could not resist the pajamas! I saw them and thought, "These are perfect for Erin!" I love the color and the texture and the design of them. I also love the slippers. EDIT: Currently Hannah's wearing them and she looks adorable!

I was hesitant to buy this but I'm so glad I did. It's the perfect holiday outfit for Erin, my #35. The sweater is a VERY pretty color and is easier to use than pullovers. I like the skirt too. It looks like foil on the website, but is not ripable at all. The headband is pretty - after you cut the tag off. And the shoes are easy to use. Overall, a great outfit

I don't have Bitty Twins, but I bought this to be a holiday dress for Sarah (my brunette BB) because I'm not a fan of the Sweet Snowflake outfit. I'm so glad I did. The color of the dress is beautiful. The snowflake on it, the bow, and the little flat pompoms are a nice touch!! The tights have a very nice pattern. The shoes are easier to get on than most AG shoes.

Very cute pajamas! One of AG's best I think. I love them for #37, my Hannah. The colors and the design are cute and I love how they come with slippers. I'm just glad I got them before they retired!! Edit: They also look great on Rachel!

This is a beautiful coat, with a beautiful hat and beautiful mittens, but I can still see a young kid having trouble with it, as the hooks can be tricky. Still, HIGHLY recommended.

The dress is cute. I especially like it on Natalie, my #28. The dress and headband are both easy to use and I like how the pattern is also used on the shoes. It would make more sense to use a zebra pattern on the headband though. Hannah (#37) in the dress: Emma (#39) in it: Erin (#35) in it: *MOD EDIT to remove member's dead image links*

My one complaint about this dress is that the headband is too big for the doll's head. But I love the dress and the shoes. It's one of my favorites for Erin (#35) but Kit looks cute in it too! Kit in the dress: *MOD EDIT to remove member's dead image links*

I like the outfit a lot. The skirt is very pretty as are the sweaters. Since there's a long sleeved one and a short sleeved one, Kit can wear it all year!
