The blanket is super thick and scratchy! I think it is going to be a rug in the living room. Then, I will use the sheepskin as a cozy rug in Austin's room. Very well made, and very authentic. NOT very cozy!

I just bought Josefina's bed for my modern, Texan, Heritage antique loving, #28.
I bought a used one, and am really happy with it. Since there are some distressed edges already, any other Knicks or scratches blend in easily. The mattress is also nice and big to hide any other issues.
It is pretty sturdy, and my mini dachshund definitely wanted to get in it! It is preetty big, but I like that bc my dolls have to share beds from time to time!

This set was at the bottom of my want list, and then it disappeared, presumably sold out. I just bought for $35 from the summer sale, and I am so happy I did.
Everything is a good size- for some reason I had imagined the items smaller. I also thought the lamp pattern looked cheesy, and the rug a bit cheap. The doll room that is getting this is already pretty filled, so it all blended seamlessly, and looked cute. I think it is less cheesy in person. I probably would have bought it sooner, had I seen it in person.
My lamp fringe won't hang down, and the rug has major creases. I happen to have my iron out, and plan to steam then right now.
I think this set has a lot of play value, and display value. Austin already has a bed side table, so I plan to just use the accessories in her room. I think the side table will be getting used in the living room, although it is not that formal.

I really like this piece. It is much smaller than any other American Girl trunk, and is sized to the scale of the dolls. (assuming it is a large trunk.)
For my set up this is preferable to the bigger trunks. My dolls now all have their own rooms, and I am attempting to store most of their items in their rooms. Some items are on Display, and others are in storage containers, like this one.
For me, I wish American Girl would make the doll's personal trunks this size, but then perhaps also sell larger trunks for those who like to have a place for everything.
I was able to buy this on eBay for about $80. It is in perfect condition. I felt better paying $80 than $100. (duh!) I love the costume pieces! I like the little pictures too- I am always looking for bits to personalize a doll's room. The magazines are a let down- they are just covers, and not actual magazines with pages.
The pieces that come with the costume are quite versatile, and many could be used for other doll's. To me, this is a really fun piece for dolls other than Rebecca too. I think AG did a good job of bringing in some of the fun fashions of the day, yet kept it appropriate for a child.
