Why, Miss Molly's hair has got to be down in curls as Miss Victory!

I am probably going to sound super picky, but I have have a lot of issues with this outfit. I bought it because I thought it was cute, but... -The pants are super tight. I like the material they are made of, it's like a silky soft corduroy, but they are very very snug on my Sonali, who is obviously Mattel and not that chubby. -The sweater has real working buttons which would normally be great, but there is no other way to get the sweater on than over the doll's head. I dislike this because I am a bit protective of Sonali's curls and the outfit mussed her hair up quite bit. It was also a pain to get her arms through the holes. Her fingers kept getting stuck in the fabric. -The buttons have pretty large holes (or maybe they just widened when I unbuttoned them). When I unbuttoned the buttons to put the top on they kept slipping out of the holes after I re-buttoned them. -I feel like the sweater looks a little boxy once on. -The shoes are ugly, but that's just my own personal opinion, hence why Sonali is wearing her meet shoes in the picture. I am also not crazy about the style of the hat, so that's not on her either. ;D Sorry for all the complaints, but to be honest, if I had a chance to go back in time I would NOT purchase this outfit again. I am very "eh" about it on my doll. It gets a grade of a C- from me. I tried to take a picture but the flash on my phone is having issues, so I am sorry that it is so dark!

It's amazing and has lots of both play and display value. It offers a bit of storage as well. I adore mine, and while I realize it's expensive, I don't regret getting mine at all and would do it again in a second.

I got Caroline yesterday and am very happy. I haven't taken mine out of the box yet, but my sister-in-law opened hers immediately and her hair is silky smooth. Her curls are so bouncy and beautiful- they look just perfect draped over her shoulders. Her eyes are also a really gorgeous unique light pastel greenish color. I am not normally into blonde dolls, but her curls and eyes are so lovely I just had to have Caroline. I like her lighter eye brows as well. I love that she comes with pantalets and stockings similar to Marie-Grace's. Her little pink ballet flats are a bit plain, but they match her dress. Once I can bring myself to remove her from her box I will take more pictures. Here she is still in her box:

Thank you Breezywindy! And my set has 29, which is used and I believe is AG as opposed to PM, so I don't know, LOL. Hopefully some others will chime in so I can figure this out! Thanks again.

A very specific question, I know, but I would appreciate if someone who knows the original number could help me out! Thanks!

I'll reiterate how unique her eyes are (one of the prettiest colors AG has made, IMO). Her curls are also beautiful! I just wanted to add that #26 makes a great Cécile:

I wish the slippers fit over MG's socks because the color matches her skirt set, but they are hard to get on unless she is barefoot. The neck seems a little tight to me and doesn't sit even on her shoulders, if that makes sense... Also, there is no velcro, so I had to wrestle it on starting at her feet and pulling it up so I wouldn't ruin her curls by putting it over her head!

I like this set a lot. Both the chemise and crinoline fit nicely under Marie-Grace's clothes. I would definitely recommend putting the chemise on first, then the outfit you want your doll to wear, then lifting up the skirt to put the crinoline on underneath. Marie Grace's outfits seem to fit perfectly over the hoops! Just a warning- it's hard to hold the doll (especially for hair styling) when this is on because it makes her a bit bulky. I find it's best to put this on Marie-Grace when she is being displayed only.
My only complaint (which is small) is that the chemise is not soft at all.

I was very annoyed that for $28 this set did not even come with matching ribbons, which I think is ridiculous. If it hadn't been a gift, I might have boycotted this outfit... It was a pretty bland "set" with just the top and bottom.
However, it does look lovely on Marie-Grace, and her slippers are actually the right shade of green to go perfectly with it if you are not too picky about the fact that she probably would not have worn bedroom slippers out in public (although they mention silk slippers in the books that the girls wore with dresses, and MG's slippers look more like real shoes to me...)

Can anyone tell me if it is normal that my snow globe has "low" water? I think I have the Mattel version because even though her tag says PC, her arms are straight. The globe is the one with the red plastic base. The water doesn't cover the snowman's hat. I am curious if it came this way or evaporated over the years or something... there does not appear to be any evidence of a leak. Also, the nurse doll has straight hair instead of curly hair, and though it is smooth it appears "layered" in the back- the top layer of hair is shorter than the layers underneath. Is this normal or has her hair been cut? Thanks if you can help!

Though these PJs are cute on Mia, I really really like them on dark-haired dolls. They are super pretty pajamas, but I am glad I got them second-hand for $5 because of the unfinished edges. The bottom of the shirt drives me absolutely insane because the ends roll up... a lot. Front the front it looks like my doll is wearing a scroll, LOL. If I had known they were going to do this I probably would have skipped getting them... although I do think they are lovely colors and the fabric is super soft.

While the set is pretty to look at, I was disappointed for the same reasons others have mentioned... the blanket feels HORRIBLE. I don't even like to pick it up! It's also kind of a bummer that the "sheepskin" is fake. I know it would probably have been too expensive to use real wool, but I love it when AG has authentic items (like Sam's mohair bear). I give this set a C, and that's only because I like the size and appearance of the items.

I like the outfit overall, but it definitely needs hair ribbons. It's a little silly (to me) that it doesn't include them. I don't think any of Molly's other outfits (as far as I know... and I could very well be wrong) come with white ribbons, which is what this outfit calls for. I know the set comes with shoes as well as the outfit- but so does Molly's Sweater Set and IT came with red ribbons to match, which most Mollys already have from their meet outfit. Even looking at the Polka Dot Outfit in the catalog, which has a big picture of Molly in the two most recent issues I received, she looks like something is missing without ribbons!

I agree with robinhoo. I was disappointed by how super-tight this outfit was. You can see where the legs attach to the body through the pants! Also, I felt the pants AND the shirt were too short.

While I think this outfit looks absolutely adorable on Molly, I wanted to add in here that I had to return my set to the store in exchange for another because the side where the seam is got a hole in it! The fabric tore at the seam after one wear.
It could be because my Molly is PM and a bit thicker 'round the middle, but I figured it was an important thing to note for a review.
As mentioned numerous times before, the shoes can be frustrating- but I found a butter knife works and hasn't ripped the leather (YET).
I also agree with the idea that this would make a great meet outfit!!!

I agree with the other reviews (A from me), but wanted to add on that putting Molly in her robe and slippers makes her SUPER huggable. With the robe tied over her pajamas underneath, it makes her a bit plump, squishy, and super soft to hold onto.
