#26 is a lovely doll. She looks so young and curious. I love her skin tone/eye color combination. I named my girl Justice.

Addy's Meet Accessories II I am a big Addy fan, I am sad that Addy's original accessories are gone but I am glad that her new stuff is just as nice. Her accessories go so well with her new meet outfit, especially the bonnet and cowrie shell necklace. I like that the necklace is adjustable and that the bonnet can go with other outfits. The patchwork bag is cute though I think it would have been more impressive if it was actually patchwork. Overall, I think Addy's accessories deserve an A!

Addy's Meet Outfit I picked up Addy's meet outfit at AGPNY. The royal blue color is just as impressive online as it is in person. This color compliments Addy's skin tone so well. She looks so fancy in this dress. My only nitpick is that I wish the dress was long enough to cover her undershorts, I don't like the way they show. I do love the way her meet accessories pair so well with the dress though. Overall i think the design team at AG hit a home run with this ensemble. I give it an A! This is my childhood Addy. She has custom lashes and eyebrows and a new(ish) black wig. I did my best to replicate her new meet hairstyle. The wee bows on her shoulders are adorable. Doesn't she look precious. Excuse the flyaway it was windy here in Philly.

Kwanzaa Decorations - A+
I have an incomplete set but for the price I paid, I'm not complaining. I have two ears of corn, apple, pear, peach, woven mat, and mini Kwanzaa book. I am in love with this accessory set. The details are great. The Kwanzaa book is an actual book and can be read. The fruit is detailed and has weight to it. I may try and make a kinara next year for Kwanzaa but I'm satisfied with my display as is. I added some beans to the mat for fun. Pic below.

When I saw this set on eBay for a great price, I couldn't pass it up. My family has only celebrated Kwanzaa twice when we were younger but I have the fondest memories of those times. We had a beautiful display and read the Kwanzaa book together as we thought about the principles and how they applied to our lives. Now on to the review! Kwanzaa Outfit - A+Wow the material is gorgeous. It fits perfectly and I love that the head wrap can be put in a few different styles. My sister's doll Moiselle looks stunning in this ensemble. I had a leather bracelet lying around that made a very pretty belt. The shoes are a fake thong sandal, very nice. *mod edit to delete dead image links*

Addy's Lace-Up Boots - A+ I think these are Addy's sweetest pair of shoes. Anyone on the fence about these boots should buy a pair immediately.

Cécile Rey One word: Magnifique!
Hair ~ Even though I am African American and deal with all types of synthetic and human hair I was worried by all of the comments on AGPT. From what I can tell, it's best left alone but I don't think it's unmanageable. It's super soft and makes her look so dressed up.
Meet Dress ~ It's such a lovely shade and I really like the contrast of the black velvet. I thought she wouldn't need her crinoline but now that I see the way her skirt falls I may cave in and get it. Shoes ~ Nice but I think Cécile could use a few more pairs.
Skin Tone ~ Beautiful warm skin tone similar to my own. I put her next to Addy to see the difference. Addy's skin is a much richer brown. I also posed her next to Josefina for comparison.
Overall A+ but wouldn't she look stunning with earrings!

Cécile's Accessories
Hat ~ I don't understand why this hat doesn't come with the doll, it is essential to her meet outfit. I think it's the cutest hat and the quality is superb. It sits on her head just so and looks good in just about any position. The rosette is just precious. While the bow is large it doesn't take away from Cécile's facial beauty.
Necklace ~ Very dainty looking necklace but should prove sturdy. I think this is another must-have.
Overall A.

Christmas Dress ~ I have Kaya dressed in Josefina's holiday dress. Isn't she stunning! I think her coloring is really complimented by this dress. I didn't like the pattern until I saw it in person, it was kind of dizzying at first glance. I love the thin black ribbon and bow detail. I think this dress is well worth the purchasing price. I bought this dress used so I am missing her socks and slippers but I think my alternatives still work to complete the look. Oh and the comb and mantilla are so delicate looking. It's nice to have a holiday look that's not red and green. A

Nina Doll ~ How sweet is this doll, it has that handcrafted quality to it that I love form American Girl. I actually bought her before I had Josefina's Christmas dress. I can't believe she has earrings! She is a winner for sure. A

Review of Christmas Accessories
Chicken & Eggs ~ I think the chicken is well-crafted, come on is has real feathers. The coloring is nice too. The set I purchased second hand only has one egg but it's a mighty fine egg. It looks real and somehow manages to stay inside of the cage. A
Chicken Cage ~ I really like this piece of the set. There is a lot of attention to detail here and it can be set down or carried for display purposes. A
Lantern ~ The lantern is a pretty beige color and has a rustic authenticity to it. My only critique is that I wish it had a little LED light inside. B

Addy's Striped Dress Grade ~ A
I dressed Amelia in this lovely dark pumpkin colored dress that I bought off of ebay for $9.99 and it came with the adorable gold shoes! I think it has a Mardi Gras flair. The detail is really nice, i'm just wishing I had the headband it originally came with but overall I love the look and feel of this dress.
