Does anyone know if Molly's Lunch was ever made out of a rubbery substance? I got some pieces that look very close to Molly's lunch and I don't know if they are authentic. My DD has Molly's lunch but it is made out of some type of clay. I looked in the review section, but no one mentioned any different "rubbery" food. I have the pear, half sandwich and the cookie. The are pretty much the same size as DD's. Any help would be appreciated.

We found ours on CL recently for $50, but no horse or reins or poles. It is really, really big. If you have never seen it in person it is rather shocking how big it is. Make sure you have enough place to store it. We redid DD's enitre layout so that she would have room for it, but she has a tiny room. She rolls it around with 2 dolls in there. The one criticism that she had was that no one is driving it. It is very easy to use and they look really cute in there. I think that it is very sturdy and it rolls well on different surfaces. I always think of this set as the "Los Angeles County Jail Bunk Bed Set." This is the one piece of AG stuff that I truly dislike. My daughter and her friends, on the other hand, love it! I don't know if it is the whole bunk bed thing or the sleeping bag thing, but they adore this piece. The one thing that I am grateful for is that is can be taken apart very easily and put back together quickly and if you have to move it for a quick vacuum, it is very light and easy to handle.

I really dislike this set! There is no way that my daughter can mangage it by herself. It looks cute, but this set is not for children. the tiny buttons are impossible to manage and the boots... well I thought that I was going to rip them trying to get them on. I figured getting them off would be easy--well guess what? It's not. My daugher could not take them off! It is short and #57 looks like a stuffed sausage in this coat. I'm only glad that we bought it during Cyber Monday otherwise I would be really ticked! It is more like a trench coat instead of a raincoat. It is not rubbery (other than the boots) like Molly's slick. The hat is cute and fits great. Boots - D Coat - C Hat - A

I have seen so many of these crack at the joints that I am afraid to touch it. The paint is always chipping here and there also. I give it a C+ , only because it is really cute, but as far as how well it holds up...that is disappointing.
