I don't know if it is because we have one of the chubbier 2000 Kit dolls, but the length of this dress was not an issue at all. This is one of my favorite dresses from Kit's collection, and gets an A from me.
The parts are well made, and the mitt and ball are very real looking. The only issue I had was with the hat. I bought the outfit on ebay, so I wanted to wash each piece. I thought the hat might bleed, and it did. It doesn't look so bad though, and at least I know it is clean! I give this outfit an A, it is solid Kit!

I think this dress looks great on the darker skinned dolls also. The color is really pretty, and the material is nice. Not that crazy about the shoes because of the shiny almost plastic look, but the rest of the outfit is fine. A- because of shoes.
I love the new version too! I like the lift off lid so the trunk doesn't have to be pulled away from the wall every time you want to use it. It is beautifully made, and as others have said doesn't really look like a doll item. You can always get one later on the secondary market, but with the sale price and now free ship, it really is a pretty good deal!
Thought I would add a picture of Kaya in this outfit because she looks so cute in it! I am also adding a close up of my 2 favorite parts, the cat collar and the kitty mask. This costume is really old school AG, it has 9 parts, and the treat bucket is not made of paper. This is one time that plastic is good!
I thought I would add some pictures of this outfit. It is well made, has lots of parts, and looks cute on. I like the home/away jersey idea, just like a real kid. The ball bag is also cute, you can stash both ball and shoes inside, but it is a tight fit. Giving this outfit an A for well made, pretty color, and realism.
We got this set a year after it came out. It survived a ton of play, and still looks good, no tears or anything broken! Here is Josefina wearing it. She has just scored a goal, not unusual because she has been the team's leading goal scorer for a very long time!
Ours did not come with a towel, but it came with this scrunchie. It is my favorite part of the outfit.
Also the bottom of the shoe has the original AGOT logo stamped into the shoe.
Have to give this set an A for realism, lots of parts, and holding up well. Plus it is just pretty cute!

I have the whole set, but I will only do the lamp. First is a picture of the lamp in daylight, and then one taken in the dark with the lamp lit up.
I just got this set NIB, and I love the way the lamp really works. I do remember that when my daughter played with this is a child that the paper lampshade is not very sturdy and tears easily. It is really cute though, and especially when lit up. Next is a picture of Marisol enjoying her new bed, and I am looking forward to getting Julie's room accessories to go with it!
I am not wild about the hat for this outfit, but I like the rest of the parts. I agree with the somewhat boring, but still a nice spring dress. My favorite parts are the over the shoulder purse and the pearls.

Since there are no pictures of this outfit, I thought I would add some!
The snowpants especially are really great, and could be used with lots of other things. The 2 negatives, the color is a little faded looking. I don't know if you can tell since I used color enhancement on the pictures, but the whole outfit is just a little faded. Also the gloves will not stay on at all, I think they would have been much better made out of the soft fleece material that the hat is made from. The snowboard itself works really well though, and the doll stands up very easily. If we ever get snow here, I will take one more picture! Grade A- due to fade and gloves, but really a very nice outfit, ready for a lot of play!

Another positive for this dress. We bought it in 2001 when it came out, and it has held up well. I like the simplicity of the dress, and the softness of the fabric. The garnet color is a nice alternative to the traditional red, and the velvet shoes are really cute. Grade A from me for the Garnet Holiday Outfit!
Here's a better picture of 2000 Kit taken today in Autumn sunlight. When I see other pictures, I think there is a little difference. Anyone know how to restore the freckles a little and still have them look natural?
This is one outfit that has really stood the test of time! Every piece of it is cute, the shirt, the shorts, the windbreaker, and the boots. The pieces are well made, and look great on almost every doll. The colors are still bright after years of play. A+ for the hiking outfit!
