This dress looks great on Elizabeth. I think she'll be wearing it a lot more than Felicity will. I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. The dress is made of a thick brocade-like fabric, and the mob cap is a very light, delicate gold lace. The lace is what really sold me on the quality of the outfit.

I decided to get this outfit for Rebecca after seeing a similar one on the cover of the All-of-a-Kind Family book, which takes place at the same time as Rebecca's books, on the Lower East Side. The outfit looks great on Rebecca! It's such a classic, sweet play outfit. I like that it's not fancy, and seems to have just the right amount of frills. (Stockings, shoes, and necklace not included in set.) Complete outfit With collar out Without pinafore Hair ribbon

I like this set a lot! The samovar is beautiful. While it would be more accurate if there were two loaves of challah, I wouldn't be able to fit two in my display, so I'm fine with just one. It's really beautiful as a display set. My set sits on top of a jewelry box that belonged to my grandmother. It resembles a miniature sideboard or bureau.

I wasn't sold on this set at first, since it only includes three items. But once I saw it in person at AGP, I was convinced. The hat is absolutely beautiful, the brooch is cute and stays on very well, and the colors of the shawl compliment Rebecca's meet dress very well. My only complaint is that the shawl is white on the inside, but if it's positioned in just the right way you can't tell at all. This set really completes her look! Grade: A-

Really, really beautiful outfit. I love its simplicity. The buttonholes, which are just a small loop of thread, are tight on the buttons, like others have mentioned. It's worth it though, because the sweater is beautiful. It's my favorite Rebecca outfit so far. I really appreciate that it's not too flashy, which I think makes Rebecca look even prettier! It's a great everyday outfit. Here Rebecca is wearing the black tights that she came wearing, not the white tights that come with this outfit.

Cute outfit, but on the whole I'm not crazy about doll bikinis either! The body tag shows, which bothers me a bit. Otherwise, I love the color and the ruffles are a nice detail. I hadn't taken the tag off yet when I photographed it, because I wasn't sure I was keeping it, so it's visible in the picture. Grade: B

Description from American Girl: Her doll can look great for an evening out in this festive bubble dress. Her doll will have a ball in this winter party outfit: A lavish dress featuring a black velour bodice and a brocade bubble skirt Black shoes with gold bows Detachable faux-fur collar and cuffs Also includes the book, Zoey’s Musical Gift Grade: A+ This is a gorgeous dress. The faux fur collar is detachable (the dress has a slight turtleneck neckline) and the brocade bubble skirt is very thick and beautiful. It might hang better with a little steaming, since it was slightly creased when I took it out of the box. The shoes are little heels that are very easy to slip on, and it's not as hard as I would think for a doll to stand in them.

Mattel
I have the PM version, and in my opinion the Mattel version pales in comparison. The fabric is thinner and to me feels more cheaply made, it's not as thick as the PM version. It's smooth felt; not scratchy, just thinner. But it's a toy, and unless I could get the older version for a price close to the Mattel verison, I would buy the Mattel one. But it's all a matter of what you prefer and what's important to you. I would never pay high prices for an older version of an item that is currently being sold, regardless of quality differences!

AG Description: Picnic Time OutfitJust right for picnicking or playing with pets: plaid capri pants with a white T-shirt and a turquoise tank. Multicolored sandals and beaded-flower pony tail rings add the finishing touch. (tank top and T-shirt are two separate pieces) $20 GDOB - discontinued 2003 Grade: A+ I love this outfit. It reminds me of the capri and tank top outfits I used to wear in middle school. It comes with a white t-shirt, teal blue tank top, plaid capri pants, strappy sandals, and two beaded daisy elastics. The sandals are thick foam on the bottom as well as the pink straps, and the other two straps are plastic. The only thing I would change is that it's a bit tough to get the tank top over the doll's head since there's no velcro on it. On the other hand, it looks good from the back with no velcro. This outfit is sooooo cute! It goes perfectly with Marisol's meet necklace. A close-up of the hair elastics:

Mod note: This outfit had a limited rereleased in 2023.Coppelia Ballet outfit (2001) Grade: A This tutu has such a gorgeous color! It's beautiful. It snaps all the way up the back and the neck has a beige skin-colored top (it goes higher than I'd thought from pictures). The skirt has three layers with little rosettes on the top layer. It comes with a hair elastic with three large flowers (light pink, dark pink, and purple) big enough for a girl to wear (not pictured). The only reason it gets an A instead of an A+ is because it didn't come with tights, and the ribbons on the slippers slide down the leg and gather at the ankles no matter how you tie them. Overall, this is a gorgeous ballet costume!

Just got this as the AGP store special. Definitely worth the $14! It looks great on brown-eyed dolls, and the velvet is very soft. I had no problem with a doll being able to stand in the heels.

Grade: A+ Price: $20 This set comes with a doll-sized apron and a girl-sized apron. It's big enough to fit a small adult since it's adjustable. The doll-sized apron snaps at the neck and has two snaps in the back so it can be tight or loose. The girl-sized apron ties in the back and has an adjustable clasp at the neck. It also comes with five miniature cookie cutters, a set of recipes for doll-sized treats, a doll-sized flower headband and a girl-sized flower headband. Both aprons have pockets and say 'American Girl Place' across the chest. The apron set on an 8-year-old:

I really love these. We have the Felicity and Kit bookends in our guest room/library and they're beautiful. I too walked away from getting Addy's for $15 marked down at Hallmark. I love the details on them.

I adore these pajamas, but I agree that the slippers are horrible! I love the idea of them--soft, purple, squishy, they look so comfortable--but in practice they're useless. The fabric of the pajamas is soft and the metallic snowflakes add a nice accent. I would also give it an A+

Grade: A++++ My favorite Bitty outfit ever! This set couldn't get cuter. It's a soft red velour with white feather trim. The bunches of holly have tiny bells in the center. Bitty Bear has a matching santa's hat. The white poofs on Bitty's shoes are adorable.
