I love it! What food would you suggest that they should have put in. Stews and spaghetti sauce would be clumped for sure - and hard to make individual servings from Why can't you make chicken pieces in a slow cooker? You could even cook the broccoli in there with it. The grill marks might be a stretch - but that slow cooker is adorable. The crock comes out for service at the table. It has lots of pieces and is a quality piece.
You get: Pieces of chicken and broccoli that fit inside the slow cooker Blue dinner plates Green fruit plates Metal forks and a butter knife Tongs Embroidered fabric napkins
The butter dish and metal butter knife are absolutely adorable. You get fabric napkins - not paper. There are glasses of milk, buns, grapefruit, dishes, all adorable.
It is well worth the price and if you can use a code - that brings the price down $10 - or it may go on sale. Who knows.
I highly recommend this for imaginative play. I'm sure that if you don't tell little girls that individual pieces of chicken don't go in a slow cooker (they do at my house) then they can have all sorts of fun cooking up a wonderful, healthy meal for their dolls.

Ok - I went and got mine. It is manufactured in such a way that it is supposed to be loose. It has a loop at the end of the handle that goes around the inside top of the basket.
It has some give!! If it didn't and you gave this to a child it could easily break. Every time a child would put something in the basket it could press upon the handle. If stationary it could pop off - but because it moves slightly it will not.
Try and think of this as a positive and not a negative. These are the little quality extras AG puts in their items that are sometimes overlooked - and many times misunderstood.

I have her and I hated the two layer hair business. I almost was ready to sell her - but she has such a pretty face.
I took her to AGPC and the lady did a veil front and then braided the hair in an upper tail and she is cute again. I'm leaving her hair alone.

Well, you have to take into consideration that this was part of the first release for anything modern from AG.
I was a kid in the 50s and had a ballerina doll with a pink tutu and pink hair. This outfit reminds me of something from that era and I just love it. The pictures can't do it justice.
I am a collector so I have never had a problem with quality and for it's shear beauty alone I give it an A+.
The fact that it was the first Today outfit that I fell in love with may distort my judgment but I don't think by much.

I have No. 25 - Sophia - and I think she is a very pretty doll. I think she looks French. When I first got my doll they had a traveling outfit that had a corsage on it and I just pictured her by the Eiffel Tower.
It was the Sightseeing Outfit from 2005.

Ok - I personally feel this should have been divided in two. That way the cost would not have seemed so bad - but you still would have paid the $58 - and now with the code you can get it for $48!!
The apron and hat should have been offered together and they could have sold for $24. The Santa Hat is Velvet and very lovely and the apron is a heavy fabric with velvet and fur accents.
That leaves us with $34 to account for - The gingerbread house is nice and heavy and it has a separate cake stand. Together they would go for about $18 - now we are down to $16. There is an adorable box of candy canes and that would be at least $5. So we are left with $11 to cover 3 containers of sprinkles, the icing bag, a plate of nonpareils and a bowl of gum drops. I'm sure you would agree that all that wold be worth $11.
There is so much in this accessory set and thus the price. But if you can get $10 off - it's great.
I wish it was separate for another reason. I would so totally buy the ginger bread house for Samantha!!
Well, we asked for more accessories - and you really have them in this set!! I love it - and with the $10 code I love it even more.

One of my favorite MyAGs has this outfit on and she is right next to my bed - even without the mini Coconut (who is to die for cute) - I think the set is worth it. I love the slippers and the headband - the pjs are so nice and then to top the whole thing off you have mini-Coconut.
I think the set has more pieces than usual. Usually we would get the pjs, slippers, and headband in one set and it would sell for around $24. The current pjs for MyAG in the catalog are $24. So, you are paying about $12 more for the mini-Coconut. A little pricey - but the full sized Coconut is $20.
In conclusion - it's a little pricey - but it is a whole lotta cute (plus not all your friends will have this set as it is only sold in the stores. Of course you can call the store and order it - which is what I did. I saw it on one of the boards and fell in love with it).
Good luck with your decision - but if you like pjs and you like Coconut - you will love this set.

I have said this before - Nellie is the only doll that my DH passed and said "That's a pretty doll" - usually he doen't pay attention.
She looks good in everything - and I like to keep my dolls in their own time zone - so I bought a second Nellie to be modern.
That's how pretty she is.

Quality is just fine - usually BB swimsuits don't fit the 18 inch dolls - shorter torso and wider body than 18 inch.
I haven't tried it on an 18 inch doll - so I'm going by what has been commented on in the past.
I am still trying to figure a way to cover BB's arms. I usually put a t-shirt under things - but with swim suits that isn't practical. I may have to find some fabric and sew a cover-up.

It is one of those items that isn't made to be taken apart. Once you snap it together you are supposed to leave it that way.
I put mine together wrong and spend a long time holding my breathe and trying to take it apart - AG almost had to send me out a new one.
My advise would be to leave it alone - you might break it.
At the very least - call CS and find out if it is available as a replacement part before you fiddle with it.

I have it sitting on my nightstand!! I love it and it works great. Am considering getting a second one for all the rest of my minis.
Well made, attractive, sturdy piece that stands well.
For the sale price it is a no-brainer if you are interested in having a display.
You get 12 stands in addition to the case - so I think the price of $38 is very attractive.
PS - It was on sale once before and that is when I bought mine.

My Lydia Rose is my favorite JLY/MyAG doll. She is lovely - she has warm brown eyes and cute freckles. She looks like a real girl!

I love mine - love the records and the sound of it.
I don't think it looks that bad and looked it up and sometimes the horn wasn't brass - but a solid color.
I'm fine with it - and even though it's plastic - it's quality plastic. Think green - how many trees would have to get cut down if they were made out of wood?
If you don't like it - don't get it. But I'm glad I have mine.
