I bought Kailey at a thrift store and to tell the truth she is the least favorite of my AGs. I guess it's because she is ANOTHER blonde and has straight hair (which I'm not fond of). But it may also be the horrible haircut that some little girl gave my doll. But still not wowed by her blonde/brown combo with this face mold (I really like Julie on the other hand even though I don't have her). Kailey is just kind of okay to me... B+

Samantha was my first AG. I got her at Savers for about $6.00. She actually spent a loooonnng time in my mother's HOT garage and managed to come out of it okay so I will say that she is very durable...lol. I also really like her long brown hair and her sweet expression. It seems to me that every Sam looks slightly different. Anyway, great doll. A+

My grandparents just got me Emily a few weeks ago. I have to say that I wasn't really big on the Emily character after watching Molly's movie (she kind of annoyed me), but I wanted to get the doll because of Molly's collection being possibly headed for retirement. Anyway, I LOVE the doll. I mean, like, I have been fussing over and making a bigger deal of her than any of my other AG dolls since I got her. Her red hair is SOOOO beautiful and looks great with her red and blue dress. Her shoes are actually slightly better than Molly's. A++

I just got Addy about 2 weeks ago. She is the only brand new AG I have ever bought for myself (all the rest except for her and Emily, who was a gift from my Grandma, came from the thrift store). I wanted her because she was the only available historical that I did not already own to have been around since my childhood and I've always been a Civil War buff. She is actually much more beautiful in person than even pictures convey. I love her. I have not tried brushing her hair yet, but I have heard about it falling out (and seen one on Ebay missing chunks of hair), but according to her care guide it should be okay if you use a pick and not a brush. Anyway, A+ for Addy because she is gorgeous and overall very high quality (her outfit too). Great doll. I highly recommend her.

Molly is very sweet. I got her in her meet outfit and her accessories (minus her necklace) plus another AG outfit at Savers for $12.99 last year. It was possiblly the best thing I've ever found at a thrift store. Molly has very pretty eyes and her pigtails are so cute. She also seems to be one of the higher quality AGs that I have. A+

I found my Nellie at a thrift store and had no clue who she was when I found her, I only knew she was AG. I found her there with Elizabeth and Kailey and IMMEDIATELY Nellie stuck out to me. I don't know if it was her gorgeous eyes, her hair color, or her adorable freckles. Anyway, I was super happy later on to find out that she was Nellie O'Malley best friend of Samantha Parkington (who I already had). My first best friends set was completed. A+++ for Nellie.

I'm obviously a bit late with this, but I had to review this doll... I found Elizabeth at a thrift store with Nellie and Kailey for under $5 each. At the time, I already had Molly and Samantha. Anyway, I would give Elizabeth an A because I love the Josefina face and she really is a very beautiful doll with her hair and eye combination. Her hair is also very glossy and shiny. Even though I kind of got a deal on mine I would still have paid the retail price for her. The only disappointment is in her not looking like Lizzie did in the books.
