If you are not sure about this outfit because of the price, it is definitely worth it. The outfit is made out of a material similar to a bathing suit. The colour is very different in person than in the magazine. It looks much better in person. The skort is a charcoal grey. The cleats are really well done and a nice size too They fit on a little sister doll who have bigger feet then mattel AG's. The face mask is adorable although I am not sure why the writing is orange? The bouncy ball is also orange. I haven't played lacrosse since highschool and don't remember what the ball was like but somehow an orange bouncy ball seems a bit odd. The handle on the stick makes it really easy for the doll to hold. I wish AG would make more handles for other things like this. I haven't tried the mouthguard stickers since the doll I bought this for doesn't have teeth The hair elastics are a little lower quality than AG has made in the past in fact they remind me more of the OG elastics.

A pretend berry smoothie This is very cute, it looks like the typical AG water bottle.
container of vegetables This doesn't have a lid which seems strange for a lunch bag? It's just an open container of veggies so in reality once you put it in the bag all the things would fall out (they don't because they are glued in)
two sandwich skewers this is my least favorite part of this set. I can't tell if it is pieces of tofu or bread on the skewer and find the food hard to recognize. The fruit kabobs from the taco set are much better
A medical bracelet This is adorable and you can add stickers to indicate what allergies your doll has. However it is flimsy and once you put it on it is difficult to come off. I almost broke it trying to get it off and the plastic has that white stressed look.
A faux allergy shot Very nice touch!
A fabric lunch bag As mentioned above it puckers. I added a piece of card stock to the bottom to give it shape and am considering starching and ironing it to make it more structured.

This set is absolutely gorgeous! The flip flops are so realistic and have nice elastic to keep them on. The sarong is a bit longer than sarongs AG has made in the past. The top is ridiculously hard to get on! I can understand why Mary Carly returned hers. If it wasn't so adorable I probably would think about returning it too.

I just got this set and while I like it and am quite happy with it, I was a little dissapointed in the fabric. It is different than other AG backpacks. This one is more lightweight, similar to a windbreaker material whereas the previous 2 were made from the same heavy weight material as a good quality backpack. Because of this I find when the back pack is empty it looks kind of flat and loses some of it's shape. Overall I would still give the set an A-.It is cute and the water bottle is adorable.

School Lunch Set for Dolls Item# G0020 $28
At lunchtime, American Girl dolls can enjoy everything here: A pretend croissant sandwich, raisin box, and container of applesauce A sheet of allergy stickers your girl can use to help her doll stay safe while she snacks Healthy lunch tips, plus a sturdy lunch bag with a zippered compartment to hold it all
Well I was looking for reviews on this set to see what others had done with the stickers and it appears no one has done a review. I don't have pictures because I just got it today but I will try to take some and post them later.
The sandwich is cute but does not have the realistic look of some of the polymer food you can get on Etsy. The bottom is flat and white. I find it to be a bit strange, but perhaps if you made a sandwich with a croissant the bottom would look like that?
The raisin box is just that an empty box. It is cute.
Since this set came out I always thought the little applesauce cup was orange juice so I was a little disappointed when I realized it was applesauce. This does not seem like a realistic lunch to me. A sandwich raisins and applesauce!? Where is the drink and a more filling snack like pretzels or a bag of chips or cookies? While I like the set I just can't help but feel like something is missing.
The bag is nylon, and poor quality honestly it seems like something you could get in a dollar store. It does have 2 compartments similar to a real lunch bag so that is a nice feature.
It comes with a sheet of stickers but I am not sure where you would put them. There are 4 circular stickers a little smaller than a penny.
There is also a little pamphlet with some lunch ideas for girls. It includes a list of 7 sandwiches.
Overall I do like the set and think it is cute and has some good playability but I feel the quality could have been a little better and they could have included one more piece to the lunch. So I give it a B.

Easy Breezy Outfit A woven halter top with a fresh plaid-and-floral print Turquoise canvas shorts have cuffed leg hems and baggy pockets Pink sneakers with elastic turquoise laces $28 Above is the AG description, personally I think the shorts are a dark teal colour and the laces are the same colour. The shorts are a thick canvas type material and feel like amazing quality. The halter is a light cotton poly fabric.
The fit is beautiful but I did have a hard time getting the halter on. I tried over the head but had to opt for feet in first. Once it is on it looks really cute! The shoes just slide on. I have never had AG shoes that were so easy to get on and yet they don't slip off.
Excellent value for the money.
A+

Staying up late makes sleepovers great! Your American Girl and her friends can share a bowl of popcorn and a plate of cookies and pretzels while they play with the Magic 8-ball, a teddy bear, and a deck of cards. $16
I do not have this entire set but since no one has reviewed it yet I figured I would talk about the pieces I do have.
The bowl of popcorn is quite large It's enough for a few dolls to share. It is sturdy and well made and for those that are opposed to pink it is orange with yellow stripes.
The cookies are completely unrealistic and out of context there is no way you would know they were cookies. They are just little wooden flowers. Also the fuchsia color bleeds on to the yellow a little. I gave these to my 9 year old daughter and she had no idea what they were or what to do with them. Once I told her they were cookies she was happy to add them to her play sets but in general AG could have done a better job.
The pretzels are very cute a realistic. I am not sure what they are made of but they are a bit pliable and rubbery. To me this is the best part of the set.
I do not have any other pieces but will try yo post some pics later.

I won't do a complete review but will just add some of the surprises that I found after getting the bed: I thought this would require tools to put together, but in fact the 3 pieces just snap together. The bed is very sturdy and does not come apart at all, in fact I am not sure I could take it apart if I wanted to. The bed is very high, more than 2 ft tall. I did not realize this, despite the fact that it is clearly written in the catalog. So the bed does not fit in my doll house and I will need to add an addition to the doll house that can accommodate such a large piece of furniture. The cupboard under the bookshelf has sliding translucent doors. You can store all kinds of stuff in there! The desk is a quarter circle/moon shape. Not sure how to describe it but it's different than I thought. The pencil holder thing runs the whole length of the desk and you can put books or other things inside. The linens are not the best quality, they feel like polyester sheet sets you can buy at Wal-mart. Not awful but not Egyptian cotton either Typical AG these days. It's lower quality than the cream coloured trundle bed but higher quality than Mia if that is any indication but the cute factor makes up for it. I give the set an A. I won't give it an A+ because I feel it is a bit over priced.

Her doll will be party-perfect in these two-tone shoes with bows at the toes. They arrive in an adorable shoebox that can be used for storage. $12 These are really cute and match a lot of outfits. The look great with the real me outfit and McKenna's school outfit. The fit nicely and slip on and off quite easily. The box is also a nice touch. It is a little big to be to scale for the dolls unless you use it as a boots box . But it is a cute bow with a removable lid. I give these an A+

Your favorite girl can bring her doll along to sleepovers, too! This doll-sized sleeping bag has a fun graphic print and conveniently folds up into its own carrying case with a shoulder strap. Includes a matching pillow. $26 I got this on sale on cyber monday. It is a nice thick material and feels like a real sleeping bag. I thought the carrying case would be separate but it is actually attached to the sleeping bag. So you get 2 pieces the sleeping bag that basically folds into itself and the pillow. I thought it was a 3 piece set. That was a bit disappointing. But over all I would still give it an A. The dolls fit nicely inside and the pillow is useful.

Mix and match! This set includes fashion for every occasion—white athletic socks, heathered brown dress socks, and cream colored tights. $8 [/i] I acquired this set in an ebay lot and found the athletic socks to be very useful since most of the AG outfits don't come with socks even if they come with sneakers. The cream colored tights I use for Samantha or with Molly's holiday dress and they look great. I have yet to find a use for the brown socks. They do look cuddly and cozy and might be good for a doll in pj's or a hospital gown but they really don't match anything that AG produces.

These brown faux-suede Mary Janes have lug soles and periwinkle topstitching. They fasten with an antiqued butterfly buckle. $8 I got these in a lot from ebay. They are a very heavy good quality shoe. The style is a little young compared to most of the other things AG makes but they look cute on and look very nice with blue outfits because of the blue stitching.

The special kit is filled with everything her doll needs for a fun overnight outing: A pretend electric toothbrush A make-believe retainer and case A bottle she can imagine is filled with face wash A zippered, vinyl cosmetic bag, featuring nylon handles and a star graphic on the side $16 I just bought this from e-bay NIB. electric toothbrushThis is hot pink and looks very realistic, it has real bristles and a purple button that depresses but doesn't really do anything But it is cute! retainer and caseAs with all AG retainers it is glued into the case. The case does open an you can see a little blue retainer inside. It looks like the kind of retainers they give out these days , that are more like invisaligne and not like theold ones with wire. At first I didn't think it looked much like a retainer so I showed it to my husband and asked him what he thought it was. His exact words" I have no clue, some kind of retainer for American girl or something?" So I guess they did a good job!! It will look cute on a night table or something. bottleIt's just that a bottle with a fancy lid. It could really be used as anything but I think it would have bean better if they spent the 10 cents to make a little sticker to indicate what is inside. But I will do that myself. It is cute but toothpaste would have been better. vinyl cosmetic bagFirst off the handles are grosgrain ribbon! I love them!! The bag feels really nice, it is excellent quality. It says "My stuff" on the side and is about 3.5 inches in length. It holds all the items it comes with and could hold more. The width is about 1 inch and the height is about 2. I give this set a B. Although the bag an the toothbrush are fantastic, it seems to be missing something for $16. I think they need a towel, toothbrush or something to really round out the set

McKenna dresses for warmth on school days. This outfit features: A cowl-neck, cable-knit sweater with ribbing at the waist Lavender leggings layered underneath An embroidered denim skirt, featuring a frayed edge and starry ribbon graphic A pair of turquoise hair clips Two-tone shoes to add pizzazz, head to toe Plus, girls can use the included hairstyle card to create McKenna's stylish double-twist 'do
The sweater is a deep purple. It is very soft and seems to be amazing quality, unfortunately the velcro is the old-fashioned snagging kind so I am worried that the sweater may develop pulls. It fits very nicely and is fitted at the waist. The sleeves are 3/4 length.
The leggings are a nice thick material but the color is different than the traditional light purple AG has used recently. It is a different shade than the current meet outfit. The leggings go to just below the knee/ upper calf.
The denim skirt is gorgeous and has Mckenna's ribbon graphic in the deep purple of the sweater. I had a hard time getting the skirt on and I tried it on my MyAG #4 who is one of my smaller dolls. I doubt this skirt would fit a PC doll! And I think it will be frustrating for little kids. The skirt has no velcro , it is a pull on. It is cute and seems sturdy.
The shoes....this is where the outfit falls apart. The shoes are turquoise with lavender detailing. They don't seem to really match the outfit at all. I keep wondering if there was a mistake and the meet shoes go to this outfit and these shoes belong to the meet outfit...but alas no. So I opted to use the current MyAG meet shoes. These also don't match as the purple is not the exact same shade but they do seem to look less alarming then turquoise shoes with a purple and grey outfit.
Overall the outfit is adorable and the quality is excellent so I give it a B+ If you like the shoes then bump it to an A. I don't appreciate the cheap velcro so I can't give it an A+.
I apologize for the lack of pictures but I don't know how to upload to this site.

She can dress her little darling for a day at the beach! This outfit features: A polka-dot swimsuit with bows at each shoulder and embroidered flowers at the chest A mock-wrap swim skirt with a bow at the gathered waist An embroidered beach hat with a contrasting color underneath the floppy brim A pair of polka-dot sandals with embroidered bows to protect little feet Includes the Bitty Bear’s Beach Book activity book for girls $24
This outfit did not attract my attention at first but DD wanted it. It is much cuter in person.
The hat is amazing! It fits snug on bitty baby or bitty twins head. It also fits nicely on the 18 inch dolls.
The whole outfit is mad o swimsuit material so it is more realistic then some of the previous bathing suits.
My only complaint is that the shoes don't stay on as well as some others.
The outfit is easy to put on even or small children.

When the Bitty Twins sleep over at Grandma’s house, they can snuggle up together in a pair of matching sleeping bags. They’re fully reversible, with a blossom print on one side and solid color on the other, and they feature a heart-flower appliqué. $24
We purchased these on sale for $12.
The tag says it is 100% polyester but it feels like a sot cotton. The dolls it nicely and easily inside. The sleeping bags ar well made and seem very cozy.

I have wanted this set for awhile and it went on sale fro $18 to $14 so i bought 2 at AGPNY.
I will try to add pictures later. it comes with a lavender backpack, 2 juiceboxes, a snack container and the typical AG empty box that is meant to look like cookies.
The little container has sections and in one is cheese strings, one has apple slices and the other has ini teddy bear cookies. Nothing comes out it is ll "cluped food" except the cookies rattle around and ake noise. The whole container has a snap on lid. y 3 yr old has trouble getting it on and off but my 4 yr old seems to manage.
Overall i give the set an A-
I love everything except the empty cardboard box. Also the backpack is very sturdy. Everything is well made and fits the twin really nicely.
The backpack fits the 18 inch girls nicely but the contents are not appropriate.

I just got themtoday and I like them alot. However i find the slippers a bit big. Like too much fuzz. i feel like mimi (47) is wearing a sesame street monster on her feet. I may just replace them with a pair of purple crocs. But other than that this set is really nice and I give it an A

We got this set a few weeks ago and my girls have all been playing with it nonstop! The best part of the set is the lemonade pitcher that has2 ice cubes inside and floating lemon slices. The worst is the cup cakes are attached to the plate. Also you only get 2 of everything. I ordered another set of cupcakes place mats and cups from replacement parts. They are reasonable priced. My big girls also don't mind that the cupcakes are a little large for the AG's but what kid would mind an extra big cupcake? A bowl of Broccoli and it may be a different story altogether. Overall I give this set an A!

This was not an outfit that originally attracted my attention but at a certain point I needed sneakers and went looking for an outfit that came with sneakers and I found this! Now that I have purchased it I can say it is one of my faves!!! The pants look magnificent!! The fit is so nice!! The headband is the same type as the sweet sugar headband it is stretchy ribbon. They do snag easily but fit perfectly! This is another A + outfit in my book!

I just purchased this so I got the charm instaed of the book A spaghetti-strap leotard- This is really stretchy and excellent quality fabric A complementary georgette wrap skirt - I love this it fits perfect and it's beautiful fabric terry warm-up pants - Again awesome fabric, feels like real sweat pants A wrap sweater with stretch velvet ribbon trim- I didn't notice the velvet ribbon until I bought it and I have admired this set for years sothat was a nice surprise. I do think the fabric seems a bit cheap and thin. However it wraps really nicely around the doll and looks great on. Knit leg warmers, ballet slippers, and a headband- all dynamite accessories that make the outfit! A silver ballet bag and silver-colored charms to clip onto the bag's strap- this is fantastic and you can fit tonnes inside. I am surprised AG didn't include it in the catalogue pics. Overall I give this outfit an A+

I LOVE the hat but I put mine on a bitty twin. However my leggings keep falling down! And I agree that the swing sweater leaves bitty very exposed. A little tank to wear under would have been a nice addition.
