I got the shelf for Christmas and it is so beautiful! Well worth the price in my opinion. I have a lot of my regular minis on it since I did not buy all the holiday ones. The ovals do not indent. I wish they were not there but honestly they are pretty easy to cover up. I can hardly see mine with the minis on the shelf which I find strange. I don't plan on using the stickers since about half of my minis are anniversary dolls and the others are not.
Photos using it for things other than the mini dolls, by request:
I think it looks good with larger/taller accessories actually. Clara is not in any stand, I was pleasantly surprised she stood up on her own. I am not sure about putting shoes in it. I almost think you would need to fashion a couple more shelving pieces in between for it to look nice with shoes.

I went ahead and ordered the Frosty Party outfit while it was on sale during the daily deals and decided I whould try mixing and matching the pieces. I think the sweater might look cute with jeans and the skirt with a black top. So here is what I came up with. ~mod edit to remove inaccessible images~ The top is from the Winter Magic Outfit released for the holiday of 2004. I just put the sweater on my 26- Jada, along with the jeans from the school days outfit of 2008. I am still debating on the shoes to go with it. Any sugestions would be great. I think the shoes that come with the outfit are to fancy for jeans.

Yay!!! I got a few goodies in the mail yesterday and today (I saved a few bucks by using the Molly code twice and separating my order ) I will start with the item the was the reason I made my order. To be honest I never really thought this outfit (the ready for run one) was very cute. I thought it was "OK" but the color combo just never seemed to strike me as appealing. Then right after it disappeared from the catalogs and I found this board I fell in love. My girls needed another pair of jeans so I was excited to see it come back to the website for now. I really am glad I got this outfit while I could, I love embroidery and the jeans from this set are a great example of that. I also like the little side slits at the bottom. I do wish they had back pockets but AG jeans haven't had back pockets (Go forbid Mattel would chip in the extra buck for its customers ) since the days of Pleasant. The shirt is cute and seems versatile but for some reason I had thought it was long sleeved...Oh well.. three quarter length is even more versatile. I never thought I would like the sweatshirt/jacket in this set but it was the first thing I saw when I opened the box and I fell in love I just love the feel of the fabric and it even seems like you can reverse it to just being plain blue (has anyone tried this out) The shoes and socks are probably some of the favorites that I have. The striped socks are adorable and I love the stretchy fabric while the shoes are just too cute and look like the ones I love from the Petals and Plaid set but they are different colors. I think the hair-band that comes with this is cute and a nice touch and of course the UNDERWEAR!!! Yay! for any of you that have Nicki you need to get this set it comes with both jeans and undies! Two things Nicki needs but surprisingly doesn't have. I hope to get Nicki soon and when I do she may be in this outfit more than her own.

I realy like this outfit. As a christmas gift I was realy happy to get this one and I just love it. I have a red plaid skirt very simmilar to the pink one that comes with this outfit. The jacket is soooooo cute and I love the little buttons and the embordery. The shoes are just adorable but I doo wish the outfit came with some little white or pink ankle socks. I mean as stylish as the shoes are I still think that most girls where socks with their tennis shoes. I was most impressed with the fact that the t-shirt was longsleeved. Knowing Mattel I would think they would just make a short sleeved tee with this set, figure no one whould notice with it being modled under the jacket and save the money on the faberic. The barretts are nice but I had thought that each one was a different shade of pink from looking in the magazine....oh well. While I would rather the outfit come with a doll sized book along with the rest of the newer JLY outfits I still like the book and think it is good that AG is trying to get girls to read. I give this set and A-, dont get me wrong it is one of my favorits but I realy wish it had come with some socks.

The accessory set that goes with the Ready for Fun outfit is cute but I dont know if I would have paid 18 dollars for it. For the now sale price of eight dollars this is a good deal. it is not my favorite set but for the price and the little goodies that it comes with I like it. I think this one also has a high play value. I thought I would hate the purse but its actually kinda cute. I prefer it on the side without the AG logo though and love the little metal (I think they are) studs. It also seems to hold more than I thought it would. The Coconut key chain with key is adorable and can clip on to the purse. The AG mag. is about the same as most that come with any starter JLY accessory sets but it is still cute. The bracelet is OK but I think it would have been cuter if they made a charm bracelet. To tell you the truth I'm not sure what AG was thinking when they made it. At least it is made out of a type of fabric and I don't think my girls have many bracelets so it will be good to have. Last but not least, in the minds of Mattel at least, the money. It appears to be the same as most of the previous AG money at first glance but if you look at the back you will notice it is blank. I don't know if they were worried about little girls counterfeiting dollar bills or what ;D The only other meet accessory set I have is the one for the vinyl jumper and the money from that set was surprisingly not blank on the back.

All I have to say is get these while they are on sale for five dollars and before they retire. I had five dollars left before going into the next shipping level so I though "Hey, these look cute, I should go ahead and get them while they are on sale." I am glad I got them, they seem very versatile and will be great for the Tom boy of the family, Ann . I was only disappointed that they didn't come in one of those cute little AG shoe boxes. They look like the ones that you would buy hanging up at the AG place.

I realy love this set!!! It just makes me want to snuggle up and read a good book! I realy like the fact that the squiggles that go all the way around the bottom of the robes skirt. The slippers are even fluffier than Mollys!

I LOVE this outfit right now it is on my Josefina and I think its adorable. Im 17 and if they made this outfit in girls and ladys sizes I just might by it. I love everything about it and although many people seem to agree the skirt is to short i think that its perfect and adorable. then again im a teenager but overall this is probably one of my favorite GOT outfits (even though all the dolls I own are Historical

I think this set looks realy cute on the dolls. While its not my favorie outfit, mainly because its not very practical I still think it is cute. There were two mane things that I didnt like about this set (the flapper costume) One was the fraying fringes at the bottom of the dress and the secound was a chunck of feather missing out of the feather on the headband. Besides these two things I think the outfit is still worth getting at its monthly special price (six dollars off ) I accualy called AG and they were going to send me a new headband but it wasnt available as a replacement part soo they just sent me a new costume.

I realy like the color and design of this outfit. The fabric seemed like quality fabric to me but that may just be me. I love the quilted peti coat/ underskirt part (please, forgive me for not being a colonial fashion expert). I love it when the historical outfits come with shoes and while simple I like the shoes that come with this set. I also addor the hat! I think the whole outfit is just toooo cute together and give it an A.

I like this outfit and I can see why some people are upset with the sleeves but I accualy think they are suppose to be like this, possibly to give them more of a vintage and cow-girl look. Then again I don't have the outfit yet so I will have to wait and see.

I needed to get my little two year old cousin a Birthday present and since she already (can you believe she got a Bitty when she was only 1??) has Bitty Baby. I got her the two in one travel set since I love denim and thought this was an especially good deal with the code. I relay like this set and while the denim is thinner than I thought it would be, with all the cute pieces and the fact that it also looks cute on 18" dolls I think I may have to place an order for this and maybe a pair of shoes with the Molly code before it expires. I was thinking the genes may look cute as Capri's on my dolls.

Grade: C- I just got my package from AG today. I placed my order on Saturday so I suppose it arrived in good time and everything and I was excited to open it. The first thing I opened out of the big box was Kits photography set. I had heard SOOOO many good reveiws on how great this is and felt kinda forced to order it even though I dont have Kit since it may retire. First of all I thought the camera case was made of leather not CHEAP plastic! I thought the camera whould have benn metal but it too was Plastic! I had troble getting the camera out and felt like I almost broke it The photograph album is almost EXACTLY the same as Emilys scrapbook! They are the same design, same size, and both seem poorly put together with little strings. There were five little pictures included with sticky backs so "you" can "fill up" the scrapbook. Without the sticky backs the pictures whould probably be thinner than todays pictures though, about the thickness of normal printer paper. Oh and the codact film box, just a little paper glued together box, seems like it could be crushed easily. I give this set a C- because of the cheap materials used to make it and the little amount of accual pictures to put in a lengthy album plus they are easy to loose. I regret getting this, if I had Kit Im not sure if I would or not but I would only get this if you realy want to complete Kit's collection.

For some odd reason I was ubsessed with this outfit when I was a kid. I was realy into the lace up "corset" look and I liked that it had a seperate blouse so I saved up and got it for my Kirsten when I was young and I am glad I did because I realy like this set. I just seems like something very practical for and cute on Kirsten! The only downside that I can think of is that that it does not lace up in the front, just more velcro in the back, joy...more velcro!

Introduced in 1998 for $50, retired in 2008. Associated with Happy Birthday, Josefina!
Set a pretty party table for Josefina’s saint’s day celebration! Start with an embroidered table runner, and add the Montoya family’s very best dishes. Your service includes two hand-painted plates and a pitcher with a poppy design much like the Mexican majolica that was prized in 1824. There are two green glass tumblers, and two knives and forks. For this special saint’s day celebration, the food was as festive as the table decorations. Tía Dolores baked a fancy loaf of bread, and Josefina’s friend Mariana brought a juicy treat—a melon that had been buried in the sand all winter to keep it fresh! The pottery redware jar holds an apricot branch, a springtime reminder to Josefina that “we are all given second chances.”
Josefina's Dishes / Table-wear:
I just adore this set!! Even prettier in person. I love the ceramic accessories and the green glass cups are to die for. My favorite part is the little ceramic painted water pitcher! It is just adorable and I love the colors. The table runner is very cute of course and just says Josefina all over it (not literally of course ) I like the flower vase with the painted white little flowers on it. The flowers inside are just your typical face flowers but I was surprised to see that it was only one stem of these. I was a little disappointed by that because I thought their should have been at leas two (if you have any idea what I am talking about) but that is a minor complaint/detail. The Cantaloupe is very real looking besides the two little snap/holes that hold it together. I guess this is good play value because you could pretend the cantaloupe is whole and then have Josefina "cut" it open. The loaf of bread is a plastic/rubber material which is what I expected but it is not hollow or anything and very cute. The silver wear is cute but I was surprised that the handles of them were actually plastic. I thought they may be ceramic or wood. This factor brought my rating of the set down for an A++++ to an A. I love this set and highly recommend getting it if they don't change most of it to plastic.
