Thanks for this review, bingandnelsonfan. I really like this but I have a question. Is it possible to fold this up and put it away if you want to? Are there any hinges, or can the building part of it be taken apart? Thank you again for the review and all the pictures! The wooden building part does not fold up in anyway. There is a plastic gold roof that is holding it in the 90 degree angle shape. I heard from others that you can pull off the plastic pergola piece after it's been attached, but for me, this makes me nervous. I'm worried that the plastic tabs that attach it could break. I have this piece, and I had a super hard time getting it attached to the wooden part for the first time. I had to use a lot of force. I'm not taking mine off again for fear of breaking it and the pain of trying to get it attached again. Bottom line, it does not fold up nicely for storage. What you see is what you get.

Is the egg removeable from the pan? Yes, it is.

How do you play the game with the ladybugs and bees? It is like checkers or tic-tac-toe?

To answer your questions quickly until the member has time to do a review, I have purchased the slow cooker, and I am really happy with it. The cooker is made of plastic, but it appears to be a good scale, at least to my eye. The other pieces are good scale too, I think. The butter dish is the best part, it's adorable! The lid comes off, although the butter stick is stuck to the little blue dish. The butter knife is nice, heavy metal!
Yes, it is kind of weird that the chicken has grill marks, but members have suggested that maybe the person grilled the chicken first a little to get the marks and then put the chicken in the cooker. And, yes, broccoli would likely turn to mush in a slow cooker, but it is still pretty cute, and I applaud AG for having separate food pieces that aren't stuck together!

The cash register is not attached to the counter whatsoever and it can be moved around to wherever you want. I have the ice cream parlor, bought it when it first came out. Maybe the in-store model that you saw had the cash register stuck to the counter-top for safety? Mine isn't. Completed separate.

Yes, it is supposed to stay open. Mine stays open after you push it open to a certain point where it reaches a catch/makes a click. If yours doesn't, then maybe it's broken.....but if not, try pushing it open more until it "catches."

Just wanted to add that I just got my Storage cabinet in the mail from American girl today. I love it! I was very worried about the quality from readings previous reviews on the AG website, but mine is perfect. The paint looks great. The cabinet is very study. All of the pieces were there. And it fits tons and tons of clothes! I already have mine full! Now I'm going to need another! It is much larger in person than I expected. Love it! The only complaint I have is that the bottom clothes rod is too low for anything besides shirts, jackets. So it's not that great for historical items, but I put all my historical items on the top clothes rod and my modern items on the bottom rod, so that worked out OK.

McKenna's warm-up outfit just happens to be my favorite outfit of her collection, so I had to get the starter set to get this outfit! Seeing the online pictures of her in the fishtail pigtail braids is one of the reasons I caved and bought McKenna. Please excuse the messy braid; it is my first time ever braiding hair--and I'm 28! My mom never taught be how to braid growing up, and I am quite proud of my messy braid! I tried to hide her wig cap by alternating sections of hair for the part, which only made it more messy and still didn't cover the wig cap well. Grade A- The drip-dye pink to orange jacket fits very well, but seems a little tight to actually go over shirts, such as her gymnastics t-shirt or leotard. Reason for the minus. Love the pants. They are made out of a windbreakertype of material. I was worried that because they are white, color clothes would show through, but McKenna's is wearing her underwear underneath, and I can't see them. Sneaks: super cute. Very easy to put on. What can I say, I love doll shoes! Ponytail holders: nothing special, but match nicely. Wish they seemed a bit more sturdy. They seem like they might stretch out over time/use. Pictures!
