Disappointing: the snowglobe has no water; how is it supposed to snow? It's like all the snow dumps down at once. Also kind of meh about the gloves which just seem to fit oddly. The cape is quite nice, goes on easily, and looks pretty. I like it especially on Gwen, my #26. Overall: I rate these a C. Not worthwhile overall.

I need to be better about taking photos. But here's one from when An Lei happened to be wearing it when I was taking comparison shots of her and Kanani. *mod edit to remove dead image link* It's a good outfit if you want something with pants (and different-looking pants!) and minimal pink. Also, the shoes are cute as heck. Yeah, it needs a cami, or a shirt of some kind, but you probably already have SOMETHING that will go under it...right?

Everyone likes MOAR comparison shots, right?
Plus some more miscellaneous photos:
So far the hair isn't giving me too much trouble - it doesn't seem to have the dryness problem my Josefina wig has, knock on wood, though it does have a tendency to look kind of fly-away near the bottom. The curls are pretty easy to deal with - I took her hairnet off, fluffed her hair a bit, and voila, instant curls. Taking a lock and giving it a twist works pretty well, too.
She is super pretty - I think I like the Jess mold more with the medium skin tone. Her skin color is very comparable to #26's; 26 may be just a tad darker, but it's not noticeable. Josefina has a similar shade, too, but hers has a redder hue. I can't tell the difference between Kanani's and Mia's eyes, if there is one. They look the same to me compared side by side, though they appear more different in the photo above, I think because of their relative skin tones. I don't know; it's hard to say without actually popping their eyes out and looking at them by themselves, because the surroundings affect how we perceive colors. So, that.
The meet dress seems fairly nice - I like the pattern, though not as fond as the cut. Quality seems good. The sandles aren't as nice. They look a little bit cheap in person. Her necklace is plastic of some kind or other and is tied in back with a ribbon, so it's not nearly as heavy as it looks on her in photos. It's still a very cute necklace and is pretty easy to deal with. A+ for the necklace, C for the sandals. won't rate the dress since I don't know that I can do it objectively.

The headband doesn't fit on Josefina's fat head. I sympathize; headbands don't fit on my head either. Maybe I just haven't finagled it right yet, but I thought I'd throw that out there before I get around to my full review.

This outfit is cute as heck on 18" dolls. The vest is my favorite part - I think it will be really versatile. The shoes and dress are really nice too. A+

For thirty dollars, this outfit really doesn't come with much. Sigh. Shoes, a dress, the headband, and the charm. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

Cute outfit though I'm slightly disappointed by the boots which look like the boots from a couple other outfits (someone mentioned Julie's, also the prior western outfit which I already have.) The other thing I don't like is that the ties aren't long enough to do a bow. There's a butterfly on the hat but it's kind of hard to see. Wish they'd used a slightly more contrasting thread for it because it's cute. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

Josefina wearing the "berry sweeeet" shirt. I think their designs are all very nice, but wish they'd nix the text, which seem to make the images much less versatile. The t-shirt does seem slightly thin, as Josefina's body color seems to peek through a bit. It was a lot of fun to do, though, and I felt like I got something a little more "special" than just the exclusives.

People have asked a couple of times how the gift cards are presented. I snapped a couple of photos of mine:
Comes in a huge envelope, via UPS in my case.
The folder; comes with a message in a folded paper (lower right), the gift card, and a catalogue.

I'm not sure if I like this set, yet. I have two pet peeves about the tights - the first is that the seam on the inside of the legs is glaringly obvious; the second is the tendency of the tights to bunch up at the ankles. I think both of these relate to the fact that they're made out of something different from normal tights; it may be a tradeoff if the tights are less snag prone than regular tights, which I think they may be. I do really like the snowflakes on them, which are quite lovely. The shoes look like she stole them from Dorothy, which is to say that they're shiny and ruby. If uber shiny things aren't your thing, then these shoes are not your thing.

I didn't realize from AG's photos that the container and the mug match (color and design - AmericanDreams' photo shows it well). I think the set looks nice, but yeah, it's plastic, and not super nice if you have it in your hands. Kids probably won't care at all, collectors will. As stated, the cookies don't come out, but they're nicely painted to look at. The sheet music I expect to get promptly lost.
I think they're cute, and a nice set, but not a very good value.

I'm by no means an expert, but I believe that the ribbons and waist are both machine embroidered. Very lovely, not quite as nice as it might be if it was hand-embroidered. But I can't imagine how long it'd take to do it by hand, so. But either way, I love the detail and colors here.
Anyway, the shirt doesn't seem inclined to pill offhand so maybe that problem has been fixed. It has velcro at the sleeves so that they're snug on the wrists. I found that one of the arms was the tiniest bit hard to velcro, but it can be done.
The ribbons seem quite sturdy and I hadn't noticed them on the site at all, so I thought they were worth photographing. The skirt is like a wool...felt? Something in between. Wow, I'm awesome at identifying fabric. Anyway, it's nicer than felt but I'm not sure if it's wool; it doesn't quite have that same feel.
The whole outfit together is really pretty, and as long as it doesn't have the pilling problem noted above I give it an A.

I wasn't sure about this outfit when I took it out of the box but there's a LOT of really nice detailing here. I definitely think this is an A outfit. The flowers look so nice. I also really like that it's easy to shape the skirt and give it a lot of body. I do have a slight beef with the shoes because even though the detailing is pretty, it's a little hard to tell that the embroidery is supposed to be flowers. I think they could have used a bolder design. Fakest fake fur ever. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It is very heavy and not that nice to the touch, but thankfully, my dolls don't care about that. The flower looks slightly less huge and offensive in person (as compared to AG's official pics). This skirt poofs out and shapes quite nicely. ~Mod edit to remove dead image links~

I have to say, I don't really like the empire waist with the poofed skirt on this. It makes the proportions look kind of weird. I'm also not super crazy about the ruffly bits around the neck and chest. But both of those are personal preference.
Photos!
There's something I don't like about these shoes. The sequins are a sort of coral pink and I don't think they quite work with the ruby color of the rest of the outfit.
The hairtie is really quite heavy. Hopefully that equates to sturdy. I do agree with the other poster that the hairtie is a bit of a pain. I think the problem is that the "elastic" isn't actually very elastic - I can't imagine why. I don't think those things are exactly expensive to produce.
You can untie the bow, but the rest of the ribbon is sewn down so there's really no point.
The edge of the fabric here is unfinished but I tugged at it and it doesn't seem inclined to unravel or anything.
The outfit is a really lovely color, but all together it's a bit too much red for me. So I tried it with white tights, which I like better:

I agree with what's been said above. Also, the slippers don't like to stay on my dolls' feet! :x Both the top layer and the bottom layer of the top roll up; the pants do too, but not as severely. The style and printing are cute, but the quality is just... I wouldn't pay more than $10 for the PJs. I'm not sure if it's backordered yet, but if you want 'em, wait for the sale.

This is the first BT outfit I've gotten so I'm unsure how it compares to other BT outfits, but I'll do my best at reviewing it. I don't have the boy's outfit, just the dress. Your girl can dress her Bitty Twin for a snowy day in this outfit:
- A knit dress featuring a Fair Isle pattern and a flounce at the hem
- A jersey knit beret with a ribbed band
- A matching scarf with Fair Isle detail
- A pair of knee-high, faux-suede boots
- The Bitty Twins' Winter Fun Find-It! activity book that girls can fold out for seek-and-find fun
The dress is cute. It's a nice thick knit. Not sure whether it's real wool or not, sorry wool allergy sufferers, though I don't think it is. I did notice the velcro has a tendency to snag on the dress if you're not careful, and I could foresee your three year old not being careful. The boots are pretty unexciting, just soft and squishy, and a solid color. The scarf was disappointing; it's actually sewed in front and it velcros in back: This kind of limits play for us adult collectors, but it's probably easier for a kid to manage.

This looks SO nice on Josefina. The red hat looks beautiful with her hair. I'm thinking this would look really nice on any doll with lots of contrast, like a blonde or dark-haired doll. The hat seems very nice and high-quality; the details on the dress are really sweet and beautiful, and the sleeves sit just right, plus it was super easy to get on. The tights are very thick and seem a lot sturdier than, say, Mia's. They look tiny but were also fairly easy to get on. The shoes are cute, too, although the color seems slightly off from the rest of the outfit. I think it would have been nicer if they weren't quite so shiny. I agree with Kris- I think I'd call the outfit candy apple red. Major A++ for this outfit.

I come bearing lots of pictures of this outfit. But first, a few notes about the pieces:
The top is cute. I like the slight flare at the cuffs of the sleeve and the color is really lovely. The horse and cowboy picture, which I'm wild about, is a little smaller and less intrusive than I thought it would be, so I'm pleased with that. It's sort of a subtle shiny blue color.
The skirt is also very nice. The corded belt is cute, although it looks like it could be damaged with some imagination or a mischievous cat. I like the corduroy purple material and the little blue flower on it. The cut is a little different from how it appeared at first glance to me on the website- it's fairly straight down before the flares.
The vest is really lightweight suede or something and is lined with a light satiny fabric on the inside. It's not a stiff leather vest like Josefina's so it falls rather than holding its shape. The quality doesn't seem super high to me, but I'll see how it holds up over time.
The boots...yuck. They're a yucky material that doesn't look good and doesn't feel good. It's not very solid so it seems to pucker in a bit when you put them on. I've seen much nicer boots from AG.
The shirt and skirt get an A+ from me, while the vest gets a B and the boots get a C- for icky quality. I think the shirt and skirt would probably be well worth their portions of the cost, the vest mostly, but the boots, no.
back of the skirt
Because I'm easily amused, it kinda matches Mia's undies.
Detailing on the skirt and boots
For some reason this outfit seems to have more tags plastered all over it than usual. Or they're more obvious.
The lining of the vest.
The puckering on the boots I mentioned.

I only glanced through the book, but also noticed the cute snowboard design pages and the snowboard speak. This seems pretty awesome compared to the normal books. Lots of extra stuff in there as well as the usual story.
Cute outfit. I worried it'd be much thinner than it looks but it has a nice fluffy padded quality. Not sure what the pants fabric is but it's an unusual texture I don't recognize - it's not the shiny waterproof material it would be made of if it was made for humans.
MrsMac mentioned the belt around back - it is only sewn in one place, but I tugged at mine and the sewing seemed pretty sturdy. I think your kid's going to have to really try to yank it off for it to be a problem. The snap on the belt is pleasingly easy to undo for such a small one - not stiff at all, so hopefully little fingers won't have problems.
One of the two gloves was really a pain to get on. Not both of them, just one. It was really tight, and I had to pinch one edge against her wrist while I stretched it over all her fingers and it kept slipping.
Someone asked if the pants were quilted. They're not but there is some stitching on the front that's there...to give it some shape? I'm not really sure, honestly. There's none on the back:
I do wish the boots could be ordered with this outfit as well as with the snowboarding accessories.

Love this dress. Gor.Geous. The colors are really lovely too - they really hit some of my personal favorites here.
The collar on mine is popped up- hopefully ironing will take care of that but it looks like it'll be fun to iron. ~_~
The shoes from her current outfit and the shoes from her PM Christmas dress - Basically the same, though her new ones are stiffer. I actually found them easier to get on her for that reason. So they fit fine on my Mattel Josefina's feet, which I'm pleased about since they're seriously adorable.
The one problem with mine is that the back doesn't line up quite right - I can't get both the red ribbon and the neckline to align properly at the same time. But looking at AGR's pics, it looks as though it's a flaw with mine, not with all of them.
The fabric seems slightly thin- I noticed when I had her backlighted that it was a little see through but that shouldn't be a problem generally since it's black fabric. Other than that, lots of details, seems very sturdy. The shoes seem a little higher quality than the ones from the Christmas outfit but it could just be the age on mine.

Goodness, this set is as cute in person as it is in the catalogue. I'll add pictures later, but the camera's charging now. Green shirt: very cute. I love the green color. My only complaint is that the seams attaching the sleeves to the body make it look a little bit like it's inside out. It seems sturdy, and like it will be pretty versatile for me. Jumper: Cute cute cute. It does sit a little lower than her chest in person than it does in my head. There's lighter purple vertical stripes on it that I didn't notice in the catalogue. The bow on the lacing is tacked down so you can't untie it, but the loops are real, so you could adjust it so it's tight in the chest and loose in the waist if that tickles your funny bones. Boots: They're using a plasticy velcro that I haven't seen before. I like it - it seems less likely to accidentally catch on delicate things like tights. I worried I'd have trouble getting Willow to stand in them, but it wasn't hard. (Josefina, who's floppier, might have some issues.) Other than that, these aren't that exciting. They're boots, what do you want? Hair clips: I'm not crazy about clips that hold about three strands of hair, either for dolls or for myself. They're cute, though, for what they are - they have both purples and greens in them so they look great with the outfit. Overall: A. Worth $26? Hmmm. I wish AG's prices hadn't gone up, but they have. I think this is one of the nicer outfits that you'll get for that money and I like all the parts to it. Would buy again. I really like both pieces as mix and match. The jumper goes well with a couple other blouses I have: *mod edit to remove dead image linka*

I agree that the skirt, at least, seems a little tight. However, this looks incredibly cute on Josefina. She doesn't want to change out of it. She's wearing the tank from Nicki's tie-top outfit because I traded off the turtleneck. Overall I'd say A, doesn't get an A+ because of the fit issue.

The bodice and gloves have a lot of detail that you can't see on the website as someone else mentioned. However, I am somewhat frustrated with a couple of aspects of this outfit... the shoes are very easy to dislodge and it is hard to get my Josefina to stand in them. The bodice also came out of shape from the box and I haven't been able to get it completely flattened out so it falls normally. The gloves are lovely, however, and I also like the hairtie, although it might be too gaudy for some people.
B- since the gloves and tie are really the nicest parts of the outfit.

This outfit is much prettier in person than it looks on the website. There's a lot more color to it (red as well as the yellow and black, and hints of green). The pattern is lovely, too. I have a little trouble with the shoes, which tend to pucker in when I'm trying to put them on, but overall the fit is good. I bought it used and it is still in great condition, so I think the durability is probably high as well. A.

I love these - I think it's my favorite thing I have gotten her so far and therefore a really good value. I don't have the feast outfit, but the shawl looks stunning with her meet outfit as well. I love the flowers on it and the color (yellow is my favorite color, so I'm automatically a sucker for the shawl.) The choker necklace is simple but it looks very good on her. It also helps ease the transition from her neck to her body. The fan is my least favorite item as I'm not fond of the see-through lace look, but that's a personal preference. A+ from me.
