My Special Offer Cécile arrived and she herself is absolutely gorgeous! Her hair seems shorter and less full than I expected but still very pretty. I have two issues with her: her legs are extremely floppy (that shouldn't happen with a brand new doll!) and her meet dress just sort of hangs off of her because she is the thinnest doll I have ever seen...even thinner than my MG. (I have an AG Molly and McKenna for comparison and they are slim but not skinny!!!!!). The pleats on my Cécile's bodice are not quite right either. Otherwise, she is gorgeous and her accessories are amazing.

I think I got a crappy one I really wanted to have this dress as part of my daughter's collection. It is very pretty to look at but there are some definite issues with mine. The skirt is way too big. It falls off of her if we move her. It would fit my nicely-stuffed Pleasant Company dolls, but not MG. The lace collar doesn't lay evenly on mine and the velcro doesn't quite line up in the back. The bloomers are a tad too long because mine won't stay up on MG...they are actually a little too small and slipping off her butt as a result. Also, I thought the skirt should at least be lined. It's very thin and the way mine was folded in the box, it arrived with a huge crease in it about an inch up from the hemline. The bow is a weird crinkly material ( was hoping for wide and satiny like Samantha's) and too short to do much of anything with. I already sent back the LE outfits earlier this year due to quality control issues. This dress hasn't impressed me at all aside from its prettiness...so afraid now to buy anything else for C and MG.

I just got Kirsten's quilt on eBay and while I haven't taken a picture yet, I have mixed feelings about it. I'm very happy to have it because I agree, it is essential for Kirsten to have. But mine has some Josefina fabric in there from her holiday dress and it is too dark/jarring to look good with the rest of the quilt and knowing that it is Josefina's somehow irritates me to have it in Kirsten's quilt. I would much rather see the fabric from her summer dress, birthday dress, and housecoat in there! Mine only has the fabric from her meet dress, school dress, school bag, and work dress. I worry that the handwriting on it will wear off easily though I'm good with such things and if it doesn't last I will just ink it in myself.
Overall though, it's a very nice item. I might be on the lookout though for an older one that suits my taste for it a little more closely and sell the one I have.
I'm going with B+. I would love to have the little kit for Sari's quilt!

These reviews are so helpful! My daughter wants Marie-Grace for her first doll and it looks just like her. Can someone answer a question for me please? Is Marie-Grace's skin actually golden tan? It is hard to tell in pictures but if someone who knows could compare it to, say, Felicity or Samantha for me I would be so thankful.

We have her too, and overall I think she's just beautiful. I really appreciate the attention to detail on the mini-dolls. Her hairstyle is adorable, but as someone else mentioned above, she was played with for one day when her hair at the top above her braids started sticking up and couldn't be smoothed back down. She was our first mini and for the price I paid, I think her dress and boots are amazing quality. Cécile is stunning too!
