Yep, it's beautiful! A++ I don't understand the comments above about it being cardboard as it is clearly wood. I did see it in the store before buying.
The yellow interior is perfect for the color of Kit's clothes. I layed out all her wardrobe as I saw on display in the store. It sure does hold a ton!
I am glad the brass "American Girl Collection" plate is left off. I have it in my living room and it looks great.

Are there two versions of this nightshift? The PC one I just received from a AGPT member doesn't have a bow. It has a stationary ribbon sewn at both ends. I am disappointed. I can add my own bow to it, but I like authenticity. I should have gotten a picture first I guess. Maybe it was modified to solve the ribbon problems stated above.

I bought the tan faced Sombrito online and am very happy with my purchase. She was about $17 with shipping and is in perfect shape.
I too was surprised how heavy she is! Quite a nice piece of resin with super-soft fur! I love her even more that I know her name means "Little Shadow".
Now I have each pet for my dolls!

Wow! Molly's scenes and settings are gorgeous. Perhaps it is just me wanting to go back in time, but I think her home scene on the front is the best of all the dolls' cover scenes. I especially love the story details in each scene such as Benett in the bedroom scene and the "Hooray USA" poster in the drug store. My all time favorite is the school scene. I am a teacher so even the writing on the chalkboard it perfect to me. I can't wait to buy Molly's desk for my classroom display!

$28 This set is still worth the money, even with the increase in cost. The berries are in just one pile now (without the magnetic ones) and the camas root are in a clump of 4. I don't mind that they are together as it is for classroom use and less easy to lose. It also looks cuter in the basket as they don't sink to the bottom.
One of the best AG food sets.

I just returned from the Seattle AG store with Kaya's teepee. It is AWESOME! I will be using it in my classroom to compare and contrast Coastal and Plateau Native Americans. I am so excited to show it to my students, that I don't think I can wait the 4 days until I do the Plateau shelter lesson!
I didn't know the fire would crackle as well as light up, so that was a nice surprise. The teepee set up was super easy and I am completely pleased with the authenticity of the whole set.
A+ (just wish I bought it when it was on sale a couple of months ago, but still worth the price at $125)

I have to agree that Kirsten's Scenes and Settings are awesome!
I got mine on eBay for about $40. (The shipping was $17, and very well packaged but it still arrived with a huge, every-page corner smash! I think the box was just too small.) The form-core is soft, but has to be light so I don't see a way around that. It does not diminish the beauty overall.
The paintings are gorgeous! My favorite is the inside of the country store with all the wares. You can see how dark the setting would actually be with limited windows. I like how the doorway and window show the brightness of outside and what is happening on the street.
While I do like the New York shipping scene where the Larsens get off the ship, I wish there was a summer prairie scene. In the books, she is only in New York for a chapter or so. She is on the prairie for many stories and more possibilities of play. I use the cover with the cabin for the prairie and it is fine, just not as large.
I use this as a backdrop for our dolls in my fourth grade class and I think it is top quality!
I am always so happy to have it. I want to get Felicity's Scene and Settings soon!

I love, love, love the hat! It makes this outfit work. It is one of my all time favorite accessories for my dolls. As mentioned by Rosieangel, the cherries and bow are perfect.
I have both hats, the rougher straw first version and the smoother rafia one. I actually prefer the newer one as it stays on her head. The smoother weave somehow fits the scale of the hat better. I remember taking it out of the box after purchasing it on ebay and loving it! I wonder if it will hold up as well as the rougher straw one?
What about the boots? I have two pair and believe both to be PC or AG. One has eyelets and more cottony laces with black soles. The other, has no eyelets, thiner laces and tan soles. Does anyone know?
