How does Joss' hair color compare to other brown-haired dolls? Does anyone have any comparison photos? This is Joss next to Marie Grace:

I just unboxed Joss. I was SO EXCITED at first. Her face shape is lovely. I love her chin!
As I undressed her, I found that I was less and less sure. Her wig is very thin and of a different (cheaper) material than other AG wigs we have. It will tangle easily. It feels like Barbie hair, not AG hair.
I miss the detailing on her ears. I know that sound weird! And, her hair will likely cover them, so, not a huge deal, but...
We'll see. I'm sure as a personality emerges these will bother me less. But strictly as a doll, and primarily because of her wig...I'd give her a B-.

This item was released in 2017 and retired in 2019.Spring is in the air, and Julie’s ready to enjoy the sunshine! This outfit includes: A short-sleeved embroidered peasant top A denim miniskirt Platform sandals with yellow flower embroideryI am not a Julie collector. But, I LOVE this outfit! It gets a solid A from me for quality and mixability. The blouse is very sweet. It is cotton and has machine embroidery. It would mix and match nicely with shorts or jeans. The skirt is a typical AG denim skirt. It is a nice summer weight. It would be a great mix-and-match piece for any modern doll. I'm not keen on the sandals. But..they're fine. As you can see, we paired this with Saige's boots and earrings.

I'm not sure if this post belongs here or in the nurse's office.
We love our Iz. Her hair is lovely and her eyes are a dark hazel that is different from our other hazel-eyed dolls. Her face is symmetrical, her ears are even, and her face paint is just right.
Her meet outfit is one of our favorites with lots of mix and match possibilities.
We were very much looking forward to her hair extensions. We were disappointed. Despite taking her right out of the box and putting the extensions in with a PS and giving it a good shake the extensions just don't stay in. The hooks on our extension (and on a second one a kind AGP member sent us) don't match the loops in Isabelle's head.
Yes, I can re-sew all the hooks so they match the wig loops. But, for the price paid I would not expect to need to do that.
This picture has the two end hooks in. You can see how far off the middle hook is.
This picture has one of the hooks in. You can see how far off the other two are from where they ought to be.
AG did offer to have us come in to the store (2.5 hours away) and exchange the doll. But, she belongs to my daughter who won't hear of it. I wish they'd sorted this out before putting her on the market. I know we're not the only ones who have had wig issues with Isabelle.
It's a shame! Her pink extensions are the thing that makes her different from, "more" than a MyAG. And since they don't work…I'd rather have #24.

My daughter wore this the Easter it was released. It was well-made and the fit ran true-to-AG size (a bit on the small side).
However, after one wearing we passed this one on. As it was knit, it was rather clingy, even though it was fully lined. And, it was an awkward weight. Although the color screams "SPRING!" there was only a short time when the weather was appropriate where we lived for a short-sleeved sweater dress. (Plus, in the spring we're ready to shed our sweaters and put on cottony tops and skirts.)
Adding a cardigan just looked awkward because of the dropped waist. It seemed the wrong thing to save for fall because of the color.
It might work as a Christmas dress in warmer climates...
I would guess that it would "pull" easily.
I'm glad we had it for Easter as she and Molly looked great in their matching dresses. But, I'm sorry I spent so incredibly much on a dress she wore once.
eta: Mods, I hope it was okay to add this review here.

My daughter *loved* this tunic/dress. She wore it often. It's great for spring and fall as it's long-sleeved but very lightweight. It is very thin cotton--soft and comfy, but a bit…revealing.
The heathered lavender "trick shirt" insert was difficult to match and we ended up wearing it with leggings.
I think it ran small. I'd order up a size.

This was the one thing that my ten-year-old daughter wanted in the entire store. It retails for $20. And, while this is a hair-do I can do, it's not one that she can. (And, it's not one I can do as quickly as popping this on.) We got the brown bun for Molly and it's a good match. It was easy to put in and seems to be fairly sturdy. It's been hairsprayed, so I don't think the braids will come out or fray. It seems as if it will stay neat-looking for a long time. There are two combs attached to the wig--one to go under the "looped ponytail" and one to go on top. I don't think it would stay in well at all if all you only used the combs, but with the addition of two little bobby pins (you can see them in the photos) it's very secure. Ours was quite roomy and would have easily accommodated a thicker wig. Here are some photos, but please keep in mind that I spent about 30 seconds putting this in. If I'd taken the time to do a better ponytail to start, it would have looked even better. Still, my target-aged daughter is thrilled!

I think it's interesting that while AG often shows this on a blonde doll, we've all put this on our brunette dolls. I love it on MG and Molly. The dress is very sweet, and the lining is excellent! It makes the dress lie so nicely. While I'm not a huge fan of the sparkle and the flower, my target-aged daughter loves them. And, in all honesty, they don't bother me nearly as much as I thought they would. I haven't snipped the flower off yet, and that's saying a lot. I wish the dress were a bit longer. And, I think the shoes are the wrong season for this dress. If it's cool enough to wear this sweater dress, then it's cool enough for thin tights and corresponding footwear. We had a same-shoe problem, too! I'll be calling customer service to see if they'll send us a new pair. (And, um...based on the other photos we also had a user malfunction in how the straps ought to be.)

I bought the skirt, sweater and ribbons from a board member. I absolutely *love* this outfit! It might be my very favorite Molly outfit. Really, I can't say enough good things about it. The sweater is darling and fits well. It's neither bulky nor flimsy. Our skirt fits well on our Mattel Molly. The skirt is a great match for the sweater--and they are both great mix-and-match pieces. I had the skirt with Molly's red Halloween sweater and the sweater with Molly's red skating skirt. It would be cute with khakis and the skirt would work with Nicki's meet leo and Em's cardi...
While I don't find it very Christmasy, both Molly and Kit have worn it this fall. I think Emily will enjoy wearing it, too.

And yes, it might be a little low in the neckline for a girl Molly's age. I'm a little bewildered by this comment. ... I think this suit is very cute and very representative of the era. We just got the swimsuit and really like it. I have the same problem that jeanied had, I think. The straps on our suit are too long. So, it hangs lower than it ought. As it came, it wouldn't quite cover what needs to be covered. (The recent thread on doll modesty/anatomy springs to mind.) After taking up the straps a little, it's a great fit! I'm *not* a fan of peach, but this suit is really cute. I just need to make Molly a longer towel...

I *love* the sweater. It's just darling and such a pretty color.
I am disappointed in the skirt. I think it's a great color, l love the pockets...but it's way too short. Tights underneath help, but I think it needs to be another inch longer.
