I'm going to add this info. to the replacement parts wiki where it most probably belongs. But I found out by email that Lanie's dress and shoes are NOT available as replacement parts, just the smaller items.

Here are Marisol (wearing the new JLY outfit, but not trying to confuse you!) and #29 in the sparkly tunic:
They both have their hair parted in the back and brought over their shoulders. I just took #29's hair out of the curlers. Her hair is much thinner than Marisol's and the layering can sometimes give it a bit of a "split ends" look.

I agree with what everyone has said, and I'm going to send my outfit back. The shoes are cute, but the fit of the jeans on my two most recent mattel dolls is majorly tight. I had to struggle to get the jeans up her legs and fastened. The arm, shoulder, collar area looks wonky on the shirt. The shirt was also hard to fasten in the back. Not what you would expect from a $28 outfit. Overall C-. It's going BACK!

There have been numerous member reports that the black threads lining the inside of the boots to this outfit leave marks on the doll legs. This does not happen consistently; for example, I left the outfit on one of my dolls for over a month with not a mark to show for it. But it's been reported enough by Playthings members that it's worth noting in this section. Add me to the members who had a problem with the boots staining the dolls legs. My Jess wore this outfit without socks for about a month -- during the holiday season -- and she has several black marks on her legs from the thread in the back of the boots. I've tried baking soda to clean and so far that effort only faded the marks a little. On to zit cream, with benzol peroxide! Otherwise I love the outfit!
