#41 is my favorite JLY, by far, and one of the most prettiest dolls I own.
Her curls haven't fell yet, after having her for three years. Her hair/eye color combo is so pretty. In my opinion, she doesn't look anything like Ruthie, who my friend had.
A+. I would recommend #41 to anyone.

This doll is perfect! Her wig is not thin or thick; I'd say maybe in between. Her hair/eye color/freckle combo is adorable.
A+.

#33 is wonderful. My #33's curls have not fell out yet, in the two and a half years that I had her. She looks great is mostly anything, mostly pinks, blues, and greens. A+. I do not have a single bad thing to say about this doll.

I do think this doll is overlooked a lot, but she's honestly one of the cutest JLYs I own. She looks great in anything, especially pinks and purples. Her wig is silky, and smooth. Her hair is great for hairstyling. It is slightly layered, but not much.
A+.

I love this outfit. ~ The shirt is well made. It can be easily mixed and matched. ~ The skirt can be a little tricky to pull up, but it's cute anyway. It's well made and not too thin. ~ The bracelet adds a great touch. ~ The boots are the best part. They are well made and look great. ~The hat is cute, but I think it should of been included with the outfit. I hate how AG takes things out of outfits. A+.

This outfit is so adorable!
The dress is so cute. It fits well on most of my dolls, and looks great. The colors are prefect for Halloween. The fabric is not too thin, or too thick.
The socks are amazing. They fit well, and are well made.
My boots do fit my dolls. They are great to not just use as witch boots, but can be any kind of boot to mix and match.
The hat is okay. It fits well over the doll's head.
The broom is fake-looking. It's made out of hard plastic, and does not look one bit real at all. It is sturdy, though.
A-.

I'm not a big fan of this outfit. I have two of these; I got one with Abagail (#33), and another with Emma. (#37). The shirt is pretty plain, though it does mix and match well. The shirt doesn't look like anything close to what a target aged girl would wear, and the graphics look thrown on to the shirt. The sleeves of the shirt also has graphics on them, sadly. Plus, The pants are okay. They are a little tight, but cute. The shoes are great for mixing and matching. I don't like how this outfit is a purple overload. I got sick of it, fast. I'll give this outfit a C, maybe a B.

This is one of the cutest JLY meets AG has ever made, IMO, though they could of done better. I got this outfit twice, once with my #41, Sophia, and again with #13, Amber. The "hoodie" is well made, from a think material. It is hard to get on and off most dolls, though, like others have said. The plaid star makes are nice touch. It can be easily mixed and matched, along with all of the other pieces in this meet outfit. The leggings are nice. As I said, they can be easily mixed and matched to different outfits, and still look great. The shoes are my favorite part. They can be mixed and matched soon easily, and looks very nice with Chrissa's meet. They are well made, and fit perfectly to the doll's feet. The headband is cute, but nothing special. I give this an A-.

I love how many pieces this comes with! I got it for my #13, Amber, who is my ballet dancer. The headband can be easily mixed and matched with other outfits, and fits well on the doll's head without falling off or ruining a hairdo. The leotard is cute, and fits nicely. The pants are also well-made and can be mixed and matched with different tops. The sweater can also be worn with other outfits, and is adorable. The skirt looks thin in pictures IMO, but is nicely made and the fabric is thick enough. The leggwarmers are realistic and well made. The ballet slippers are nothing special, but are well made and cute anyway. The bag has to be my favorite part, and the one thing out of this outfit that I use the most. It's well made, and the charms make a perfect touch. The book is my favorite out the the couple mini books I have. No wonder this outfit stuck around so long. It's perfect. A+.

I don't know why a lot of people think this outfit is terrible. It's actually pretty cute in person, especially on my revised #13. The shoes are the best part by far. They are like real converse on the bottom. I haven't had that much problem putting them on. The shirt is cute, but a little thin and short. The "Music" print is adorable. I love the colors of it. The skirt is tutu-like. It's a little thin, and can be hard to put on, but goes good with the whole outfit. B.

This outfit is adorable on all of my dolls, especially Kit, Sophia (#41), and Kanani.
At first I hated this dress, but I do think it looks much better in person. The fabric is a little thin, but it does not bother me much. The purple bow makes a great touch.
The headband is cute, but slides off the doll's head easily.
The flip flops are adorable. They don't slide off my doll's feet, and go well with the dress.
The bracelet is perfect. It's beaded in a nice pattern that goes with the rest of the outfit. I haven't had trouble putting it on.
I give this an A.

I got this outfit when I was younger for Chrissa, to match with my costume on Halloween. The dress is very beautiful. It's sparky, and is very well detailed. The thing that bothers me is how the wings are attached to the back of the dress. They can look lumpy, and a little cheap. The sleeves are my favorite part. They are gathered at the bottom of the elbow. The material on the sleeves looks a little cheap, but it's still perfect, like the day I got it. The headband is just a ribbon. It is a little cheap, but still completes the look. The shoes are like slippers. They don't seem very practical for anything, besides wearing to bed. This gets an A- from me.

This is one of my favorite My American Girl outfits; I'm so glad I got it, right before it retired. The romper is adorable. I have a romper like this in real life, actually. The material is sturdy, but thin. The buttons make the perfect touch. I like how the pockets are real, and not sewn together. The hat is thin, but still cute. It's a bright red color, and fits nicely on my dolls. The shoes are to die for; I also have a pair of shoes like these I bought in the summer. The only bad thing about them is that they won't stay on the doll's feet. This looks wonderful on Chrissa, Kit, and mostly any blue eyed doll. It's a great outfit for the summer- my girls like to wear it anytime, though, and just pretend it is summer. A+.

This outfit proves that AG is horrible at taking stock photos. It's so weird looking from AG's photos, but IMO one of the cutest dresses AG has made.
The colors look wondeful on almost all of my dolls. It looks really good on Chrissa and McKenna, IMO. AG should really make more doll clothes in these colors.
The dress is well made. The eyelet pattern is so adorable. I'm not a big fan of how the straps look with the jacket, though, the straps sick out from underneath the jacket.
The jacket/cardigan's fabric is not too thick or too thin. It's textured really nicely and the orange button sicks out without being to noticeable. The dragonfly is adorable, as always.
The clip is cute. I like how it looks like an actual butterfly rather than being flat and looking fake. The print on it is well detailed.
The sandals are nothing special. They are just sandals, but they are still pretty cute. A+.

I love this set. The bag/laptop cover has to be my favorite part. It is amazingly detailed, and looks realistic. I think the dragonfly is really cute, but I have to flip it to the other side when I'm not using it for Lanie. It's well made and the fabric is just like real bags like this. A+. The laptop is very nice, and gets a lot of use. It donesn't turn on, but the screen clings are easy to put on and do not fall off in use. I love the little keyboard and how real it looks. A, just because it would of been nice if it could turn on. Lulu is so sweet. She's very well detailed. She comes with an orange leash attached, so Lanie can walk her, just like she does in her stories. She's so soft. A+. The letters make a nice touch, but they seem like they can be easily lost or ripped. A-. The bracelet is so cute on Lanie. It's well detailed and made. The only thing that bugs me was that it should of came with the Lanie doll, like Chrissa's did, not of been thrown in the accessories. A-. This is one of AG's most detailed sets yet! I'm giving it an A all together.

This is the only McKenna outfit I really liked. McKenna herself was great, but her collection was too matchy-matchy gymnastic themed in my opinion. What 10 year old has a wardrobe full of the same three colors?!?! The sweater is my favorite part. It's very soft and cozy, and pretty much everything a sweater should be. The skirt is cute. I love how the purple of McKenna's symbol goes with the grey of the skirt. It's a little tight on my dolls, though. The leggings are average. Nothing special. It does go better with McKenna's meet dress than McKenna's meet leggings IMO. The clips are easy to put in the doll's hair, unlike Chrissa's clips from her Sundress and Kit's meet clip. They also go good with Kenna's meet. The shoes are adorable, but they don't have the texture on the bottom unlike McKenna's meet shoes which I really like. I'm giving this outfit an A; it would be an A+ if the skirt wasn't so tight on the dolls.

I have always loved this outfit, for some reason it seemed Taylor Swift-y to me. My #41 mostly wear it, who is sort of based off Taylor.
The dress looks stunning on blue or green eyed dolls, especially #41 and Chrissa. The color is nice, and the fabric isn't to thin or too thick. I know that people had been complaining about how it's too small for the doll to wear and looks uncomfortable, but I don't seem to have that problem with mine.
The shoes are so cute. The only bad thing about them is that they make it impossible for the doll to stand. I have to lean the doll over on something to get her balanced.
The shrug is a little cheap, but usable. It's way too thin and seems like it could be easily ripped.
The necklace adds a nice touch. It's a little hard to get on, sometimes, but other than that it's perfect.
The outfit all together gets an B+ from me. I like how it comes with many pieces, but I hate how the doll can't stand in the shoes and how the cheap shrug looks.

I love this outfit so much. I haven't seen it not look beautiful on any doll before. The dress is nether thick or thin, just perfect. The shoes are easy to get on (at least they always were for me). The flower makes a nice touch. The thing that bothers me is that it comes in a tiny box, about the size as Josefina's Hairloom's box. The dress wrinkles so easily, that when I toke it out of the box, I had to put it under a pile of books for a whole day. Why put a dress like this in a microscopic box, AG?!?! Even my mom noticed how small it was. I think of been easier to just put it in a bigger box. The clips don't have much use. They hardly stay in the hair without slipping out. I give this dress a B+, because of the clips and the box issue.

I got this outfit with my bitty baby in 1999. The dress is very nice, but is a little worned down, since I got it when I was only one. I love the detail of it. The bow is ribbon, and the rest of the dress is velvet. The tights are average for AG tights, bu they easily rip. This is the only outfit my bitty baby wears and I havent taken it off her in years. The hat is one of my favorite parts. It fits the big AG dolls too, and looks stunning on Chrissa or any blue eyed doll. The bow makes a great touch. The cat was my favorite part when I was little. It's adorable, but is easily breakable. The bittybear is also adorable. Dress- A Tights- A- (For being thin) Hat- A+ Cat- A+ Bear- A+

McKenna is beautiful! She has such a sweet expression on her face, which makes her seem so much younger. My absolute favorite thing about this doll is her hair! It's so silky and smooth, and it's very easy for me to manage. I love how she doesn't have a part; it makes styling so much easier. AG should really make more dolls with this kind of hair. I do agree that McKenna is pretty much Chrissa with another wig. Both of the dolls are very similar, and though I prefer Chrissa, Kenna does have the awesome hair. Her meet is cute. I do like the style of it better than Lanie's, but it does seem thin. The shoes are adorable. They really don't look good in AG's stock photos, but they are so much better in person. I love the texture on the bottom of them. Very well done, AG. The leggings are average for leggings. Nothing exciting, but mine don't slip. Doll~ A ( I would give her a A+, but the fact that she is pretty much Chrissa with a Kailey wig ticks me off.) Meet~ A

Felicity came home Christmas 2008. She is so adorable! She looks great in almost anything, and her eyes are so pretty, and her hair color is very unique. The only thing is her pincurls fall out easily, so try not to brush near them. Her meet outfit isn't my favorite, I like her other one better, but their is nothing wrong with it. I give Felicity an A-.

I love the colors in this outfit! I got it when I used to play tennis, and the tennis racket and ball are so realistic and well made. I was also into mini golfing back then, so it was perfect for me.
The plaid skirt wraps around the doll's waist; so it can reverse sides. The Velcro can look bulky underneath some shirts, but other than that it's great. It can easily be mixed and matched with other shirts and outfits, which is nice.
The polo shirt is really realistic, but nothing special IMO. As most of the other pieces in this outfit, it can easily be mixed.
The sweater is the one piece that can't be mixed easily. Even so, it's well made and fits great over the polo.
The shoes are adorable. I love how they have the texture on the bottom, much like McKenna's meet shoes.
The visor doesn't fit easily over the doll's head. I usually dont use it with this outfit.
The golf club is cute, and pretty well made. The golf ball is just a piece of plastic, but still works fine.

I got these at AGP DC last summer. They are great, and the tank top can double as a shirt for everyday use. It looks great on all of my dolls, especially Chrissa and MAG 33. My only complaint is that it should of came with slippers or something else. A-.

Out of my dolls, when I ask someone who they think is the prettiest, they usually pick Lanie. I love her hair/eye color combo; I'm really glad AG didn't make her eyes brown or blue like half of their blonde haired dolls are. Her eyes are a very green hazel, and are just beautiful. I was disappointed that her eyes weren't green, like the are in the book, but I don't think Lanie would of been able to pull them off like the way she does with the hazel. Lanie's hair is one of the easiest to take care of out of all of my curly haired dolls. Her side bangs are adorable IRL. Her wig is lovely. Her meet is one of my favorites out of all of my Girls of the Years. Her shoes are so cute! They are just like real converse/type shoes in that style, and the bow makes the perfect touch. My Lanie's meet dress is a little bit on the thick side, but it doesn't bother me. The hairband is a little cheap, but yet still adorable. Lanie gets an A. Keep up the great work, AG!

I'm a little obsessed with Chrissa, so be warned. When I got the Chrissa catalog right after Christmas 2008, had to have Chrissa. She was the first Girl of the Year doll that I actually liked. Chrissa's meet is cute on other dolls besides Chrissa, but not on Chrissa herself. I've found Chrissa looks good in greens, blues, and bright oranges and reds. The meet bracelet is skimpy, but does go well with many of Chrissa's outfits. The meet dress is well made, and though it's not my favorite it's still okay. The shoes are the best part of her meet IMO. They are well made and are so cute. Chrissa is beautiful in person, but she's not photogenic at all. I think it's because of her bright blue eyes, which seem large in pictures to me. Anyway, she looks older than all of my other dolls. Chrissa's wig is a nice color- dark brown with blonde highlights. Her blue eyes pop with the dark wig. Her wig is perfect- not too thin and not too thick. The Chrissa doll gets an A+ from me, but her meet gets an B, just because it doesn't look good on her. The only real problem I have with her is how much she hates the camera. I find Chrissa terribly underrated, when she's actually beautiful in person. I do think she should of had freckles, so I did give mine some. Chrissa's the perfect doll for me, I could really relate to her stories and she was so much like me best friend, who moved away that year.

Kit is adorable. She has such a sweet face. I got my Kit in 2007, but she is an older Kit. Kit's hair is so easy to care for. Her bob hairstyle is so cute. It's not long enough to do many hairstyles with, but you can put it back in tiny pigtails. Kit's eyes are a deeper blue than the normal blue that Chrissa, McKenna, #33, Emily, etc. have. They are so pretty IRL, but I don't find them photogenic at all. Her meet has a lot of mix and match potential. The sweater, sweatershirt, shirt, and shoes are all very well made. The clip is okay, but can get lost easily. I give Kit an A. She's so sweet! Good job, AG!

IMO, Kanani is the prettiest doll AG has made besides, maybe Caroline and Sonali. I got Kanani last Christmas. I know a lot of people don't like her eye color, but I personality love them. They are a dark hazel, much darker than Lanie, my other hazel eyed doll. Her hair is hard to manage, but it can easily finger curl after brushing it out lightly. Kanani's meet outfit isn't my favorite, but I do think it looks better in person. Her clip-on flower goes good with a lot of outfits. I don't have any problem with her sandals slipping off her feet. Kanani gets an A+.
