I got Corinne for my birthday and she's gorgeous! I love her new face mold. I would definitely recommend her. I may replace her wig at some point (you all know I only do historicals!), not just because of the color, but also the texture. As others have mentioned, the new wigs have a strange texture and I'm not a fan. Her meet outfit is adorable- the boots and sweater especially. The shiny leggings are definitely not my style, but my 80s mini-me might enjoy them. I was surprised that Cori didn't come with socks! Despite the details, Cori looks good in just about everything so far. You can see the photos in the album below. She's now Allie's best friend in the 80s, but they also enjoy contemporary fashion. I gave her a little bit more color on her cheeks (as a former skier, red cheeks are ubiquitous on the slopes!) that you can see a little bit in the photos in Kit's pink/teal shirt. Cori is my first GOTY for a reason! She's gorgeous and I really enjoyed her book. I want to pick up the second one, too. I was a skier and camper as a kid (through college) and now I love to work with my dog on training so we have a lot in common! Photos are here! (updated)

Just like the OP, I was annoyed by the use of plastic packaging with this set. The boxes are so much nicer and environmentally friendly. The packaging (except the bag) is recyclable, though. This set is so cute! I got it with rewards, so it was basically free. 1. The bag: It is adorable! The imprinted design is just perfect. The only thing I don't like is that the fabric is lighter than I had hoped. I guess I was expecting a thicker "leather" feel. The handle is a little misshapen and will have to be straightened out a bit. B 2. The tin: Probably my favorite item. I love tiny things and this just gets me. It's a pretty solid piece with a cute design. A 3. The cookies: I was annoyed by how thin they were, but then realized that they fit in my doll's hand perfectly! Annoyance gone! I love the little "baked" coloring detail on the edges. For some reason, I wish there were 4 cookies. It would feel more natural, but let's just say Allie ate one . A 4. The postcards: Cute, tiny, paper. They are a heavy cardstock. They seem more dollhouse-sized than AG-sized, but they are indeed 1/3 scale. This is a time when making them slightly larger than 1/3 would have been advantageous. B- 5: Stickers: Without a passport, not worth much. Should have included a passport with each set. C- Unlike OP, my shortbread tin fit in the bag and it closed. It might just be a slight difference in the placement of the Velcro. Overall, I give this set an A-, but I also didn't actually pay for it, so I'm not sure about that $18 price tag. Please see photos here.

I just got my Rebecca in the mail and... I am super iffy about her! I got her to celebrate my new job. I am also usually so excited to play with a new doll's hair, but yuck. Rebecca's hair is dry? Or oily? Sleek and yet straw-like? I can't quite figure it out. And it's a mess. I pulled it back so I could get some decent pictures of her. I definitely (sadly) intend to rewig her with an older-style one.
I like the look of her outfit and her accessories add something to her look. The barrette is the usual cheap plastic and will stay in her purse to keep it safe. The jacket is really cute with velvet accents and lovely buttons, and the underdress can easily be worn with other matching jackets/tops. Her purple velvet shoes are also lovely, but I prefer the pre-BF boots.
I have a love/hate relationship with her satiny hat (I feel like book-Rebecca would never wear that?).
Also, I ordered the "real" Rebecca book series unabridged and illustrated so I can get her complete story. I don't intend to read the new abridged version because I've heard it leaves out a lot of important information.
On the whole, I give her a C. I was really hoping for better quality (as we should) and not to have to do a wig-swap. I'm no longer near a store or I would have loved to pick her out in person!

This set is adorable! I love each piece separately and together. The sweater had kind of a football player shoulder thing I haven't figured out yet, and the hat doesn't fit well with doll glasses. I thought the boots were too similar to Blaire's, but they are actually quite different. They have more of a tread on the sole and a yellow detail on the back.
Overall, it's a high quality set.

These are cute, but they don't sit right on my doll's head. When the arms sit between the wig and ears, the lenses stick up and if I put them through her hair, they just look awful. Maybe I am using them wrong?
Otherwise, they are on par with other doll glasses I've seen. Fairly strong plastic with clear lenses. B-, especially for the price.

This item was released at Courtney's debut in September 2020 and retired in 2021. It was $18.
This garment-washed denim jacket with silver buttons is oversized so Courtney can layer it over her outfits. She can wear the sleeves rolled up or leave them down.
I like this jacket, but the buttons seem to be tacked on. They are usable, but I feel like they'll get loose and or fall off easily. The button holes also have threads across them. Otherwise, it's well made and cute. I am returning it because it won't fit in my 80s character's collection. I'd give it a B overall.

Can someone post a picture of the back of the camisa and skirt?

I love the details of this outfit. It's is prettier in person than online or in the catalog. The colors are beautiful together and makes me long for spring.
The sleeves flip up a little at the elbows, which gives them depth. They also have this beautiful detail on the edges- a loopy kind of lace.
The shoes are perfect. The color is bright and shiny and the bows make them fun.
I love the bow in the back. It kind of has shimmery different pinks in it.
The tights are just tights and I haven't really checked out the hairbow yet. The outfit looks adorable with the hat from the coat set. I give it an A just because (as always!) the price is a little high.

his was the only BF outfit I wanted (at first!) and I can see why. It's gorgeous! The shoes are really fun, though a smidgen difficult to get the elastic around her foot. So far, its one of my favorite outfits. The shirt looks really cute without the tie, too.
I give it an A+!

This set is adorable! I agree that I only would have purchased it on sale. The shoes are really cute. My only issue is that my socks don't quite match, which is weird. The coloring at the top is slightly off. You can see the one on the right is a little lighter in color. It's hard to balance on the skateboard, but for me that's not a major issue. I wish it had come with a couple of soft hair ties for the price.
I give it a B+ due to the sock issue, balancing problem, and the price. But I do love it!

I love this outfit. The top is stretchy and is easy to put on and the shorts are elastic. The shoes are adorable (I cut off that god-awful tag) and the choker is cute, but really short. I had a hard time putting it on. The pieces are matchable to other pieces from Julie's collection, so they're really versatile.
