This set is nice to have for Rebecca but I wish there was a school book. The bagel is cute though the other clumped food is "eh". I like the bag and the real little pencil is, well, a real little pencil.
It looks cute with Rebecca's School Outfit.
Overall I'd give this set a B.

I'm happy with this set, especially since I got it with the 30% coupon (so $29.40 not including tax & shipping).
The radio is very plastic and I won't be using it with my mp3 device, but I like the size. (Smaller than a period radio but a good size for Kit's bedside table.)
The pennant is cute enough and looks good on Kit's wall in her bedroom, but I wish it said Reds.
The book is nice though I already have it. Others have posted comparison photos of the book with the one from the old Bedtime Accessories, but here is one of an inside page.
Overall I would give the set a B+.

This set gets a solid A from me! It reminds me of the good 'ole days of American Girl. I'd worry about giving the crochet hook to a little girl (it's plastic, afterall, and bendable, so I suspect it would get bent out of shape easily).

I love everything about this set except the copybook. Would the covers really have been that flimsy? Here is mine all laid out.

Our Windsor Writing Chair is quite old and isn't perfect but it still looks beautiful. Our Felicity prefers to pose next to it rather than sitting because she looks unladylike when she sits. It looks beautiful in Felicity's bedroom with her bed and original clothes press which is matches wonderfully.

I'd give this set a B. The plasticy cake tower is weird. The ring of tarts and fruits is odd. The cake stand is nice and the dishes are pretty. I'm glad I picked this up on cyber Monday for a deal, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it.

This is a beautiful gown. I give it an A- only because I couldn't get the slippers on when Felicity had on socks. The yellow material is a wonderful weight and the embroidery is very nicely done.

The Finale Outfit is very cute and my dolls wear it a lot. Here is Lindsey who happened to be wearing it on a visit to an AG store when she decided to try out the doll hanger in the party room. This outfit was sold at American Girl stores that had theaters when they were running the Circle of Friends show. It is a doll-size version of the outfit the actresses were in the finale number of the show. It includes only the long-sleeve, purple and pink t-shirt with three stars on the front plus AG on the sleeve, and white cropped pants with a star near one hem. It came in a burgundy American Girl Place box with a black American Girl Place hanger.

There are few AG products I dislike, but this is one of them. It is very poorly designed. The sticks don't stay in the holes and it is very easy to knock over. I put it together for this picture (after having to lock my cat in kitty jail to make it possible) but I doubt I'll ever bother to again. My girls never liked it, especially after a few of the poles broke. The fire was always a huge favorite, however.
I've seen the new one at the AG store and it looks much better designed. Hopefully the new poles are also sturdier.

Tatlo is gorgeous and I love the travois. I like how it shows that dogs were working partners of the Nez Perce. Tatlo displays nicely with the modern doll husky.

The fabric of this dress doesn't seem as nice as her meet or deerskin dresses. The embroidery colors are pretty but this dress is not very special. I like the revised blue version of it better.
The doll's choker is nice though the "girl-size" choker never fit my daughter.

We have the 2002 version of this dress with the tie belt and straight shoulder cut. It is softer than it appears and quite well made.

Kaya's accessories are authentic-looking but there's not all that much to them. The necklace is my favorite part. The bag is just like the ones shown in many photos of women Nez Perce from the era and later. Grade: A-

This is my second favorite of Kaya's modern outfits (after the Fancy Shawl Outfit). I love the color! I hear it is easy to lose the jingles but we don't have small kids playing with it so we haven't had a problem. It is a very unique dress. Grade: A

My only complaint about this set is that the parfleche is rather small. I wish it was actually big enough to store things. The hat looks wonderful with the Adorned Deerskin Dress.

Our dog particularly likes this set! She chewed up one of the salmon strips, the camas roots are missing and the lump of mashed camas is gone too (along with two of the magnetic berries). Still, it is a well-done set.

This is a beautiful, colorful outfit. I love the fringed shawl. It is my favorite of Kaya's "today" outfits. The quality is excellent and the details are very well done.

Our Kaya's doll and cradleboard has been played with so her braids have been redone. She's adorable and well made. The laces on the cradleboard are annoying; I wish she was easier to get in and out. I like how the cradleboard hangs nicely from Kaya's saddle.

This is a beautiful dress and very detailed. It is a must-have for Kaya's collection.
I am happy that I bought mine before they revised it to use embroidery instead of plastic "porcupine quills". It looks wonderful with Kaya's woven hat.

I bought these animals because I'm a completist but I wouldn't miss them if Tatlo ate them. I don't think they're worth the price. The bunny is cute but they don't play any part in Kaya's story.
