This coat is by far my favorite that American girl has ever made. The coat looks SO cute on Baby, Twin, and 18". The sleeves are a bit lose which leaves lots of room for long sleeved shirts and sweaters, but they are long enough to cover the arms of a regular 18" doll. I wish they made this in my size. The fabric is so soft and cute. I love the colors of the mittens and the flowers on the dress. I give this grade an A+ It would be durable for a kid, but still so cute over everything.

The coat is fairly thick, it is a very light pink color with a white inner liner. The sleeves and edge of the hood are fluffy and white. A very cute gray ribbon wraps around the coat and velcros in the middle.
I love the shoes, they are gray with pink bows wrapped around. The shoes have a slight heel. I love the fact that they are a bit longer than normal boots. I think the coat would look cute with some white tights because the legs look odd when they are bare in the cold.
This outfit is just adorable. When I was a bit younger I wore outfits just like this.
The vest is so cute and would work well with other shirts. It is a creamy white color with clear buttons. The jeans are great! They are just plain jeans. There is no American Girl written on them or anything. I wish they were a tad bit tighter on the doll but they are still very cute. I like the fact you can keep the pants long for fall and roll them up for a warmer spring day is great. Normally AG would sew them so that would not be possible. The shirt is skin tight and ribbed with a pretty floral design as I said, it would work great in fall or spring and would look cute to mix and match. The shoes are cute, but as normally the heel slides off a bit. I can't stand that in shoes. Besides that they are so pretty.
I give it an A-

I was going to get # 49 and came out with this lovely lady this past weekend.
She is stunning. I picked her over 49 because of her dark skin. I have no dark skin dolls and I always loved the tone of the darker dolls skin. I never really even thought about getting her until I saw her in person.
Her curls are just beautiful. Not good for a younger child. My little sister held her for a moment and I had to fix her whole head. So if you were thinking about getting this little lady for a child I would think twice. Do not run a brush or comb through her curls. I would suggest as AG does to just finger curl it and keep her looking nice and pretty!
I give her a "A" for beauty and a "B-" For play value. This is not a doll you want to love on to much. I have a feeling she will do a lot of sitting near me and enjoying her from a distance
I think I picked the name Colette Mae Chancley for her.

Pros: The adorable little gloves, I have only ever had one pair of those gloves that came with an outfit I got years ago and I lost one. So I am so glad to have another set. The little headband is cute! The dress itself is detailed and seems very durable. The shoes are cute!
Cons: The shoes were super hard to get on her feet. And also I think the headband is cute, but a bit silly if you just want to buy the outfit for another doll.
Over all grade: B+
Pictures will be added when I have time to post them!
