From the website: "Valentine Gift Set Item# CHB01 Give a sweet gift to your girl’s doll for Valentine’s Day—or any day! This gift set includes:
A doll-sized tee with a glittery graphic of a Dalmatian puppy wearing a cute cupid costume A pretty red-and-white gift envelope with scalloped edges $12"
I got this set a few days ago (ordered it online). It comes in clear soft-plastic packaging.
The envelope: This is just a cute thin glossy cardboard envelope for if you plan to gift this to someone. Other than that, there's not much to it. It might be nice for storing small paper items or other small trinkets.
The shirt The shirt is adorable and is perfect for Valentine's or anytime. It's a pink and gray raglan top so it's similar to McKenna's PJ top. The pink is a thinner knit than the gray and is a bit see-through if paired with dark pants or a dark skirt. I love the sparkly Dalmatian graphic (it says "I WOOF U" in the heart that he's holding) and the pink and gray colors pair nicely. The shirt has the thicker velcro; I put it on my PM #14, Gabby, and it fits her pretty well. Even though I wish the pink knit was a little thicker, it still gets an A+ from me because it looks so cute and comfy.

"Your girl's My American Girl® doll will be oh-so-sweet in this confection of an outfit! It features:
-A dress with a glittery "love" graphic on the front, tiers of satin ruffles at the skirt, and a big printed bow tied at the back shoulders just for fun -A fancy bracelet -Pink sandals with bows at the toes -A "Strong" rectangle charm for the doll's charm-keeper necklace"
I got this outfit, at AGB-Boston (I actually got it with the intention of modifying it into a separate top and skirt).
The dress is a pretty light pink color. The top is made of knit t-shirt material. The graphic is nice and has a little bit of foil print and rhinestones on it. The skirt has two tiers of satin and one of a heart print. I do wish that more of the printed tier was seen. The back of the dress features a big bow in the heart print, near the top.
The sandals are pink with two little bows. The bracelet has pink sparkly plastic heart beads and closes with a clasp.
My overall grade would be an A- for the printed ruffle not being more visible. I also think the outfit looks better as separates although it's pretty as a dress, too. Overall though this is a cute set. I love the color and the graphic on the dress and I think the bracelet is simple and cute.

Here is a pic of sisters, Shirley and Mischa. To me, their hair seems "opposite." Mia's hair is reddish with blond highlights (I think of her has strawberry blond) and #21's honey blond has reddish lowlights).

Sonali and #47 are both pretty dolls. I briefly thought about possibly getting #47 to be Sonali, however, (after taking all of the year to figure out if I wanted her) I had decided I wanted Sonali more. Sonali's hair is a different style in the movie than the books (doll-Sonali's hair matches the books).
Here are a couple photos of my Sonali and her twin sister Solana (missollymolly's #47) They're also in my "Lunch At the Cafe" youtube video; the link to that is in the 2011 Photos section.

I got this outfit earlier this week and just put it on Kanani. I looked at the how the ribbon belt is attached and it looked to be top-stitched, so I used a seam ripper on it. It came off pretty well and you can only really see the little holes on the ribbon (from where it was sewn) on the unprinted side. If anyone else wants to take off the ribbon, please do so at your own discretion.
Now for a review. I think this outfit is cute and has some nice mix and match potential. The flip flops are cute and I like the simple design on the shirt. The shirt is a bit thin but is nice for warm days. I like the capris and the bracelet and sunglasses add a nice touch.
I do agree with a few others that the belt would have been better if it was removable in the first place as it looks nice as a headband, too. However it had mentioned on the site that it was attached, which I knew. The ribbon is only printed on one side.
Overall I like this outfit and give it an A-.

I just got the Mattel one, in NY, two weeks ago. I really like it. Although the skirt isn't accurate, it's more durable. The sweater fits well and everything is so cute! My Molly is very happy to have it.

I got my #31, Tessa, on July 25th, 2010. She has a warm skin-tone that is very similar to my Kaya's and to Sonali's. Her hair is a pretty dark brown/black; it's in between my #14's and my Addy's. I agree with others that her hair is mildly textured. I like her hair length and the side part looks really cute on her. Her hair is nice and thick; it's great to style. #31 is a beautiful doll and I give her an A+!

I got this outfit from AGB-B. I looked through a couple to find one I liked. The first one I looked at, the graphic on the shirt was really shiny. I wasn't sure if they're all that way. I looked at another and it wasn't as shiny; the red was also a bit metallic-y looking. I liked the second one better, so that's the one I got. I'm guessing it might be a factory difference how the print on the shirt comes out. The bow on the color of the shirt is a cute touch and the color is pretty.
All in all this outfit is very cute and versatile. The cords are a nice color and fit well. The pockets on the front are real. The headband and shoes are easy to get on. This outfit gets an A from me.

From AG's site: "Real Me Outfit: a graphic tee, cuffed capris, cotton underwear, and ballet-flat shoes"
The color of the tunic is a light lavender color. I like the graphic design on it; it has a big butterfly and the words "smart, real, strong and kind." There is also a small flower graphic on the right sleeve and the ribbon "American Girl" on the left sleeve. The graphic on the shirt differs in how shiny it is. The dolls my mom and missollymolly got had shirts with a shinier graphic than the one I got. I noticed this in the True Style outfits at the store and then after we got our dolls, noticed it in this outfit. My guess is it's probably factory differences.
The capris are a purple hue and slip on. They have elastic on the back. The cuffs are stitched and cannot fold down. The shoes are a cute purple color with little bows. Mine are pretty easy to put on; they have a little bit of wiggle room.
The shirt and shoes fit my PM #14 pretty well, however, the capris were pretty tight. Once on it still looked okay though.
The charm keeper necklace is okay, although you can't take the ring off. I think it looks better alone than with charms on it and the charms can easily be strung to make bracelets or necklaces for each outfit (which also works if different outfits will be for different dolls).

I got this outfit in a lot, from a fellow member. It came with the shirt, jumper and tights. I think it's a cute set and one I always liked, in the catalogs. It's a nice classic style and the greys look nice. The jumper and tights would work nicely in the winter, too. The pieces seem like they can be mix and matchable, too. A.

This is a lovely dress for Josefina. I love the regency style and the fabric pattern. It comes with fancy undergarments, socks, shoes and a mantilla-lots of nice pieces. Josefina looks very pretty. A+!

I got this dress in August. Although I'm not a big fan of the color, I think this looks lovely on Addy. The brown checks go nicely with the cream. I like the little buttons on the blouse. The snood is a nice touch, although it can be a little tricky to get it on. This outfit goes well with Addy's Lace-up boots. Overall I give it an A.

I got this outfit in August. Mine has the stitched-on Scottie dog pin which is how they're currently made. I think the fabric is a little odd but it doesn't really bother me either. It's a pretty red with a crisp white collar. The hairbow is polkadot and the stockings and shoes are a nice touch. I think it's a vintage look and looks great on Kit.

I think this is a cute outfit. I got it in 2008. The dress looks all right without the pinafore but does look better with it. I cut the little white thread off of the bow of the circlet, like C.I. Fairfield, so that it can be retied. It can still be a tad tricky to do. I give the outfit an A-.
Here are some photos:

This is a cute, classic dress that is perfect for Molly. It's a nice deep green with cream lace and buttons on it, and two hair ribbons for Molly. There is con to it, which is that, because it's velvet, can attract fur/dust.

Last year my mom bought PM Molly (Molly Joan) from boardmember Joaniep. A few months ago, my mom gave me Molly J. My mom had said that I would get her someday and I had been talking about her quite a bit, lol, so my mom decided to let me have her
Actually, when I was first into AG, Molly wasn't one of my favorites, even if we both wear glasses and I loved looking at everyone's collections in the catalogs. I didn't really see myself getting her back then. Of course, after I got back into AG, that changed.
Molly is a wicked pretty doll. I love the PM Mollys best. There's just something about them that is charming. Molly is an A+++
Here are some photos of Molly J.
Nov. 2008, with batter on her nose, from baking
Molly wanted to pose like in the old catalogs:
She wears the Mattel glasses, even though she has her PM ones, too-the Mattel ones seem to fit better.

I posted photos of my mom's Samantha's outfit a couple years ago. I got this outfit for my Samantha, for Christmas in 2008. My mom's is from 2006 and they've changed in those two years. The material on mine is thinner-so much so that the skirt is now lined. The fabric is also a little different in color. The ribbon and lace seem to be pretty much the same. Both versions are very nice and at least my mom and I can tell our Sam's Christmas dresses apart, lol. I give this outfit an A.
The skirts-see how the skirt lining is?
Notice the fabric difference? Mine on the left; my mom's on the right.
Both Samanthas look lovely in their Cranberry Party dresses!

Back when I was first into AG (mid-late 1990s), Samantha was my third favorite historical. I love her books and collection. I got my own Samantha Noelle Parkington for Christmas in 2008 (my dad ordered her in September, soon after the first buzz of the archival). She is a beautiful doll! My mom has a PM Samantha, that I got from ebay, cleaned up and gave her, and although both Sams look quite different, they're both wonderful dolls. I do like the eye-color on the PM Sams more though.
I did have a little bit of bonding issues when I first got my Sam, probably mostly because I play with my mom's quite a bit. After a couple months I changed Sam's hair to be a side-ways half pony, like on the old cover and first chapter of Meet Samantha and she's adorable with that style. I also had put mine into her nightgown before my mom put her Sam into her nightgown, and that helped, too.

I got this from ebay in fall 2008; it's missing the stockings. I wasn't quite sure about the outfit but wanted some more for my dolls, so I thought I'd get it.
I'd rate this outfit a B (would be higher if a shirt were included under the jacket or the jacket was done differently). It's a pretty color and style is nice but the outfit really needs a shirt or cami underneath the jacket. The sides of the jacket lift up quite a bit when you raise your dolls' arms up high, their skin shows. I also wish they style of the jacket were a bit different or instead of a jacket that it was a sweater or something. Sometimes the jacket doesn't stay closed (also why a top underneath it would be better). The skirt is pretty and shoes are cute. The fabric might make them prone to bleeding onto the doll though, so it's probably best to handwash the outfit to get excess dies out.
