I bought Tenney along with Logan on the first release date 2/16/2017 at the AGBOSTON (Natick) store. So far she has the regular torso (no permapanty, regular darts), the material is also the same as usual not any thinner. Her vinyl is also hard including the head. She comes wearing a denim vest (pockets aren't real, just a flap), a faux leather skirt, tie-front T-shirt (the tie/knot does not lay right, it's always flipping up or scrunched up), removable underwear that is the same colors as permapanty, and booties. Oh yes and she has a little charm bracelet too, don't forget to take that out of the box, I know I almost missed it! She has one pin curl and the other side has a little piece pulled out and tied like a "Y". It's a very thick wig, her hair color leans more towards Caroline's coloring than 24's, though darker than Caroline's , and 24's is yet a tad darker. She comes in a ponytail but no ribbon or anything so I think it is just to hold her hair up for packaging and not meant to be her original hairstyle, though with AG these days who knows. All the dolls on display did have their hair down except for one. Her eyes are definitely not a brown I have seen before, so it is a new eye color. It's a decal, bright brown. She has freckles with the added one above her mouth. Her lipstick looks brighter in picture than it does in person for some reason, she doesn't look done up in person as she does in the photos we've seen. Overall, the doll is really pretty, but her Meet Outfit is just not doing anything for her. The style and colors just all don't mesh so well for me. But clothes can easily be changed. I give her an A-, pretty doll, meet outfit not so much.
ETA:I forgot to mention that many of the Tenney dolls I saw and looked through had a very slim/narrow face. I had to really look through a lot to get one that didn't look a little 'off'.

Does his cloth body canvas fabric feel the same thickness/quality as prior dolls? Someone else complained it seemed thinner or even slightly see through. ETA. It just seems one of the more unfortunate fallouts of the rolling torso and perma-panty changes, regardless if AG returns back to the old classic dart style or keeps moving forward with their changes, is that collectors photos are going to be featuring nude or perma-panty rump shots of their dolls in perpetuity. Because now all doll bodies are not really made the same and 2017 is a pivot year for significant body design changes. Doubly so when selling on the secondary market. Comical if only not so frustrating at the same time. The cloth body is the same as the Mattel one they've been using since the first changeover years ago from the really thick and hearty ones of more "Pleasant "days. in any case my Logan is still all the same but that's not to say that there aren't already Logans with the changes out there.

The Logan doll I picked up today on his first release day at the Natick store has the original body and torso with the darts, hard limbs and head, and his wig is quite poufy. He comes with a button up shirt that you can really button (not velcro), a t-shirt, dark chinos with cuffs at the bottom ,boxer briefs, and slip on sneakers (no socks). His hair is tapered in the back. I think he's quite cute, I give him an A.

I just got #55 today , and named her Evangeline. Her wig is medium thick definitely not as thick as my #24's. It is easy to style and brush and is a good length to make it easy to put into various hairstyles. The wave/curl is not so much that it would interfere with styling and brushing and it will not get as frizzy as Caroline's curls for example. Her hazel eyes are the darkest out of all my hazel eyed dolls (#21, Lanie, Isabelle, Mia) Overall, she is a really cute doll that looks good in many outfits. And I think her hair is easy to manage compared to other dolls with curls or waves to their hair. Here is Evangeline with Isabelle: More pics will be posted in my Album later on.

I may be in the minority but I thought that this set was worth the $48. There are lots of pieces to it and overall it's a lot of fun just to look through. I imagine the paintings can be nicely hung up on the walls of a dollhouse room. The sketches look so realistic, they are my favorite part of the set. Some things that could have made it better was if the portfolio was like a carry case instead of just two pieces of board held together by a band with the sketches sandwiched in between, and if the easel was real wood instead if plastic. The paintbrushes are cute and are just about the same brushes I get in my mini make-up kits, so now I know how to add to Saige's brush set if I wanted to. Overall this set gets an A- from me, lots of pieces but some are delicate and just paper so not sure how well it will hold up to play and other pieces are very small and c can be easily lost.

It's not plastic though, just a very thin almost aluminum like metal. I do have to agree that it's very cheap feeling and cheap looking. The dress is a gorgeous color, a true royal blue!

It's actually my least favorite out of all the beds, it's just very simple and a bit boring in design....the new set with the pillow and rug add a bit of a color touch to it though.

Comes with: - drop leaf table with built in storage cabinet - red table runner - 6 cupcakes - 8 cupcake liners - cupcake stand - 4 spot muffin pan - cupcake mix box - 2 plates - 2 linzer style cookies - 2 clumps of duo rice krispies treats - a box of chocolates (box, 1 clump of chocolates) The table measurements: Folded - 5.25" x 11.25" x 9" tall Open - 16" x 11.25" x 9" tall The table is made out of wood, the cabinet runs the whole length across so it has enough storage for all the above plus the separate baking set and still leaves some extra space. The other side has a towel bar and two pegs but you'll have to get the baking accessories set for the towel, oven mitten and potholder to hang on it. The two supports for the table leaves just swing out to the two stop bars, they swing out on opposite sides and they do not lock down in anyway (so be careful when you lift the table while it's open, just be sure to put the stands back to the middle when you set it back down). It is not the same color as Chrissa's sewing table, it is a deeper turquoise, here is a comparison pic: The cupcakes are all separate and even come out of the liners which are plastic. The cookies are separate but the rice krispie treats are two pieces of two treats clumped together. The chocolates are one clump but do come out of the paper box. The stand is plastic and does not spin, the muffin pan is plastic as well. The cupcake mix box is cardboard but does have something solid inside to give it some weight. The runner is cloth and is embroidered on both ends. The plates, towel bar, pegs, and cabinet handle are all plastic. Here is a picture of it mixed in with the accessories set and next to a doll to show scale: Overall a very nice sturdy table and provides great play value. I saw many kids running to it and standing there playing with the display model at the store for a long time. You definitely will want to purchase the Baking accessories though because it has many of the, in my opinion, must have pieces such as the items to hang on the table, and the cute sprinkles jars! I give this set an A.

I set up Rebecca's Sideboard with her Sabbath and Hanukkah Sets and I am pleased to say that I was very impressed with them all. My favorite is the Sabbath set! The Samovar is so accurate and made of metal, the top lid comes off to fit the Teapot perfectly for warming (just like real ones do), that's why people wonder if the Teapot is a bit small but it was made that way to fit on top of the Samovar (Rebecca shows you this below). The spigot (plastic) swings left and right. The glasses are real glass, the candlesticks are plastic and the teapot is ceramic. I give it an A++ (mostly for the part that AG remembered to give us a Teapot and to make it fit on top of the Samovar so nicely!) more pictures can be seen here: picasaweb.google.com/115599503877686512804/RebeccaCollection?authkey=Gv1sRgCPKZirLFjpDofA

I set up Rebecca's Sideboard with her Sabbath and Hanukkah Sets and I am pleased to say that I was very impressed with them all. The Sideboard is made of wood and the drawer is lined with a burgundy velveteen material, only downside is that the cabinet underneath is not large enough to hold the Samovar for storage. I give it an A- The Hanukkah set has a very nice and heavy metal menorah, though the gelt is a bit large (almost real size coins). more pictures can be seen here: *mod edit to remove dead link*

#34, bought end of Jan. 2010 She has a new hair color - Auburn. It is a beautiful unique color, in different lights it can look anywhere between a dark red brown, to burgundy. She is very different than the retired #5 doll, a pic is included for you to see this. Her wig is the standard revised bangs JLY wig. Thick enough but of course not as thick as the old style wigs. She looks fabulous in just about anything, but then again I have not found an AG that didn't! She gets an 'A' for having such a pretty and unique haircolor.

I bought my Christmas dress in 2006, it fits my chubby PM Felicity with just a slight bit of looseness. On my Mattel Felicity however, it is very loose and therefore hangs down long and to the ground. The ribbon and necklace match the dress exactly. I like this dress because of it's beautiful color, the material is like what umbrellas are made of only a tad thinner, but I do not like how it seems to be big and only my PM Felicity will really fit it properly.
I give it a B+ for great detail and style but poor fit.

Lanie is quite an adorable doll, the dress is a thin cottony, T-shirt like material. Be careful taking off her hairnet, they have attached it with thread to her headband and at some points to her wig! Her hair is the same texture as Nicki's, but she seems to have more hair than Nicki did. So it is not too thin but not super thick either. It is also much curlier than I even expected, but in a nice way. I think those that had problems maintaining Nicki's hair will have an even harder time with Lanie's. Her eyes are the same hazel eyes as on Rebecca and #21. She wears dark blue underwear that matches the blue of her dress, with dragonflies on it as well. The meet shoes are like Keds slip ons - rubber sole and toe tip. Overall, the meet outfit is pretty sparse, dress, headband, underpants, and shoes, but they do look so nice on her. She has an overall preppy look to her. Her hair doesn't look as "fake" or shockingly platinum as the pictures AG has of her. Overall A- (minus for the sparse meet outfit, I put great importance on the meet outfit since most of my dolls save the JLYs, remain in theirs most of the time)

I pre-ordered my Mini-Ruthie from Amazon and she was shipped out in early August. She is quite a darling representation of the full size doll and they look really cute together.
-Hair is cute with little curls and the headband is a nice detail -Dress is not to scale, would be better if it was a tad shorter and the ribbon in the front is the same scale as the full size doll's. -her vinyl seems to be softer than all my other mini dolls -she is greatly detailed and has all the necessary aspects that replicate the full size doll - i.e. little undies, off blue socks, headband, and mary jane shoes.....
I give her a B+

I like this set a lot, though I tend to like the food and cooking sets (even though I can't cook for real). I like how the doll apron is attached by velcro, so little kids won't have a problem with having to tie it on and the pot holder and mitt fits the doll's hands very well. My other favorites are the mixing bowl/pourer and the little wooden spoon! The flour sack is real paper, so that wouldn't stand up to rough play and not wise to get it wet....all other pieces are durable though. I give it a rating of A.

I just wanted to warn you guys about storing this outfit...I put the red dress inside the white coat for storage and the red dress stained the coat all over the inside (luckily on the inside only) and the tights that happen to be touching it got stained too! So if you guys have these stored together in any way, I would be careful and store the red dress and shoes separately!

I give this set an A. Pros: very nicely detailed, especially the plates and the water jug. I like how the forks have the long, 3-tines look of rustic silverware.
Cons: the melon and bread have a very strong plastic smell to them and have the sticky plastic feel.

I give this set a B+. I like the look of the blanket but it is very hard, coarse, and scratchy. It actually pricks my fingers when I handle it, thus it just sits on Josefina's bed. I was wondering how people actually tolerated using these blankets if they were like this, pretty as it is, it is not comfortable at all.
The sheepskin seems to shed a lot which I do not appreciate, I took the dustbuster to it and it seems to be better after that but still sheds occasionally when played with. The sheepskin is very soft however, and I like how they give you the little rope to tie it up with.

Mattel
I think the style and color of this outfit is stunning and looks great on Felicity. The differences in the two versions do not change that. In actuality I loved the look of this outfit and paid a large price for one because at the time it was retired and not yet reproduced. So I own the PM version but have seen and scrutinized the Mattel one at the NY store numerous of times. To be honest with you, I don't think the differences are all that significant to warrant hunting down and paying the high price for the old one. I would have been just as happy with the Mattel version and would have chosen that over the PM one in a heartbeat because of it's easy availability and reasonable price if given the choice again.

This is a review for the new revised version of #19 with the new hair style:
She has a lot less hair than the old version, it is not so curled at the end either and it is just a smidge shorter than the old version as well. Her bangs are also greatly reduced, less bangs and a smaller section of it. The texture is almost the same except that I do think the new version has slightly (very slightly) thinner hair strands. She has the short hairs in between each hair line so that her wig cap doesn't show when her hair is up.
I love the green color of her eyes with this hair color, in my opinion, they are a bit less "shocking" than when they are combined with Felicity's red/auburn hair.
I give this doll an "A", as although she has less hair than the original version, the style is quite fun to play with. It gives them an all over different look. I find that the hair lays down great and seems to be very easy to manage. After getting her, I like her just as much and really don't think one version is better than the other. It is also nice to have the variety.

I was very disappointed with this outfit. The cotton used is a very thin material and the edges are unfinished so within moments of putting it on the doll, the ends started to roll up. This made it look horrible, I am seriously thinking of returning it. The pants also do not sit well on the doll and give her a "bow-legged" look. The slippers are just little cheap cotton slip ons similar to Samantha's bathing gown slippers. I give it a D, I'd give it an F if not for the pretty color which was the only good thing about it.

I love this set! I give it an A, the bottle is beyond cute with the little cork stopper! my favorite is the suede journal with the writing inside and green ribbon page marker attached! everything in this set is so detailed and adorable. Only downside is that the quill is very small and very delicate, not good for play.

I have this red set, I give it an A-. I like it because it reminds me of a set my parents used to have and that I grew up with (ours was beige instead of red).
The table is huge! it can easily fit 4 dolls. Though the dolls have to be pushed all the way in to the table so that they do not slide off the chairs. The set overall is quite a bright red, which I wish was a bit more subdued.
The chairs are heavy, the table is light. The table surface can scratch easily but does not show with the pattern, though be very careful when cleaning it, I would not use the magic eraser on it - some color came off.....

I give this a B, the size of the table is great, except if you fold it up, it's not that sturdy and has a tendency to tip over. The chairs seem light weight and the dolls have a hard time staying in their seats, they keep sliding off.....I also recently discovered, after having this set for over over 5 years, that the cushions can come out of the chairs.
