I give it an A in appearance, finish and details. B- for storage. Mine was bought off eBay minus the boxes. Even with those you can't hang a lot of clothes inside however add a rod and it would change things.
Having never seen the original clothes press I can't compare the two but this one is a worthy addition to Felicity's collection.

My #31 came from eBay(and AGP member Monimarine). I named her Aidean Lennox Black. Her hair is soft and easy to style. Though a tad shorter than I wanted for braids, she reminds me of a mix of #26 and Kaya for some reason. I love her and she earns an A+++ from me.

I was suprised that the Hopes and Dreams collection smells great, like vanilla air freshner with a hint of musk so it's passably not "girly". Or I should say I was expecting it to be more along the lines of the Truly Me that my gf has( which is very floral). What a nice suprise for guys and the non girly ladies out there Grade: A -Will

That's intresting about the doll sized necklace, mine is the older style and still it's a tight fit around Kaya's neck.

Being an avid book worm I love these not only for being AG but for being able to hold up your books. I have Felicity and Samantha in excellent condition,Molly's and Addy's broke while moving up to school and I'm on the hunt for Kaya's book end.

I'll see your armless Addy and raise you a headless Addy That's what happened to my Addy figurine after it fell off my desk onto the floor(carpet). So yes they can break easy,be aware where you put them for display. -Sarah

Released in 2004, retired with archival in 2008.
Nellie treasures her porcelain doll Lydia, a gift from her best friend Samantha.
Grade: A
Review: Actually she's about the same as Samantha's doll Clara but with different clothing. However kudo's to AG for finally making this doll since she plays such an important part of Nellie and Samantha's story.
Her dress in real life is a lovely Wedgewood shade of blue and the little bonnet is darling. Plus she has little curls peeking out the back, you can see why Samantha wanted her and Nellie treasured her.

Released in 2005, retired in 2007.
Nellie's Irish heritage shines in this traditional dance costume. Dress your doll to perform in a green velvet dress with Celtic-inspired embroidery and silver trim. She'll stand tall in her poodle socks and soft-soled dance shoes. Pull her hair back with the headband - there's a headband for you, too, plus trading cards!
Grade: B-
Review: Being a lover of all things Celtic and having missed the GOML Kathleen doll,I was happy that AG attempted a step dance dress for Nellie. But....
It looks nothing like a real outfit of today,it's lacking detail or even style. The shoes are worth the price I think being there unique. Cute little matching head band(for the kids of course) and I liked the socks.

This outfit was worn by Nellie in the DVD Samantha: An American Girl Holiday. It was released in 2004 and retired with archival in 2008.
Nellie looks lovely in the latest turn-of-the-century styles. This drop-waist pleated dress has lace trim, a velveteen sash, and a matching hairbow. Comes with tights and shiny black shoes with gold buckle detail. Perfect for holiday parties!
Grade: B+
Reivew: I loved the plaid color and the contrast between the white fabric on the collar and red in the sash. My one pet peeve(actually two) are the shoes(recycled Felicity shoes) and the hair bow. Please! a red little hairbow on a scrunchy,it dosen't go well with Nellie's semi short hair.
I did enjoy the tradeing card with info about the dress etc, nice touch.

Felicity's Undergarments, sometimes called her colonial undergarments, were released near her debut and retired in 2008.PC description: Felicity's undergarments give her the figure that was stylish during colonial times. First lace up her stays to ensure she has proper posture. Then tie the embroidered pocket around her waist - all of her dresses have slits so she can reach into her pocket. Finally, tie on the pocket hoops to give her dresses the right fullness. On with the review! The set includes: 1 pocket 1 pair of pocket hoops 1 stays Everything attaches with ties no Velcro and it took a little puzzling to figure out what went where and how. I can't imagine having to wear all of that every day I put the set on Elizabeth and she can wear both her green summer dress and her pink meet dress just fine. The details are amazing, the little pocket has stitching on it and there are slits in each of the pocket hoops so Elizabeth er Felicity could reach through them into her pocket. The set came with the new AG trading cards instead of the little booklet. It had three cards, one each for Lissie's undergarments,muff/mitt/pattens and shoe/sock set. Grade: A

Original Tepee:
Because you'd need alot of tule reeds to make a teepee and they where usually lashed together in small groups to make mats etc not larger coverings. Make them too big and them become prone to cracking and I think it would be tricky getting them to stay in place.
By using hide(buffalo) it would be easier to secure and transport.

Original Tepee: Lol good one about the holes! It's nice to display but takes up alot of space and the poles are touchy when being put up. Can you imgaine having to set up a person sized teepee? no wonder native women were strong:) those poles must be huge! I can fit alot of Kaya stuff inside just uh not Kaya very well, she tends to look like Godzilla destroying downtown Toyko by poking out the top of the teepee. -Sarah

This outfit was released in 2005 and retired in 2011.
Girls today who share Kaya’s Nez Perce roots often wear traditional outfits like this one to pow-wows. Help your doll dance to the slow beat of a drum in this beautiful fringed dress. Add a beaded choker and embroidered moccasins, plus a feathered comb for her hair. Set includes trading cards and a matching beaded choker for you, too!
What would be called tradditonal, though tradditonal among the plains tribes not the Nec Perce. The material is velvet soft, hangs excellently and the color looks good in contrast to Kaya's dark eyes/hair. Her shoes are a pistol! I can't imagine a little kid trying to get them on,it takes alot of wiggling and pullling to get them on. The doll sized necklace fastens with maganets,a great idea since it's easy to get on and dosen't snag doll hair. The girl sized necklace isn't anything fancy by any stretch, just plastic beads but cute and it fits me. So I guess I can dress like Kaya:P
Over all it's nice to see Kaya's powow collection be rounded out,I guess I should add as a foot note that from what I've learned about tradditonal powow dresses they can be split into two catogories. The "pan indian" of the plains tribes which are used by many native people regardless of tribal affilation and tradditonal related to an indvidual's tribal dress.

The selling point for me was how cheap it was when compared to the other historical girl's bedding and how compact it is to store(fold up and stash).
Though it's not anything *special* it adds a nice touch to my Kaya's collection and I'm glad I got it.
