I got this off shopgoodwill and when it arrived, I was floored! I didn't expect it to be so big! The scenes are wonderful, especially the schoolroom. There was only one scene I didn't exactly like:Mrs. Ford's dress shop. You can't really do anything with it; there's no furniture or sets that go with it. I think a Philadelphia street corner would have been better.

I don't like this outfit. The shirt is okay and goes with a lot of stuff, and the undies are ADORABLE, but the boots are just plain weird looking and don't go with the outfit, plus they're getting wrinkles from being put on and off. I'm afraid that one day they'll crack. The material they're made of feels very cheap. The skort is bleh. It has nice shorts underneath but that's about it.

I love my mini Nellie! She's absolutely adorable. I think the best thing about her are her bangs. Compared to mini Samantha's and mini Molly's, Nellie's bangs are the best.lol. They're nice and short and lie on her head very smoothly. Her hair gets easily ruffled if you lay her down but it's just as easy to comb it back straight. I love the texture. Her dress is cute as well, my only problem with it being the sash, which comes untied easily. Also, the elastic in the sleeves is almost nonexistent, so her sleeves are actually kind of long, not elbow length like to Big Nellie's. I love her hairbow too. Haven't tried to take it out--I'm afraid I won't get it back in.

Very beautiful. Made of quality fabric with adorable details. I love how real it is. You could almost put it on a real baby. And the colors so cute.

I thought it was too cute. I think it DOES fit Bitty very well--not sure what you're referring to about that. But anyway, the only thing I was disappointed in was the vibration. You can barely feel it.

I have two of these BBs--one from a thrift store, and one from the catalog. I noticed they both have scuff marks on the head-it shows up in the hair. Anyway, aside from that, these are the most adorable baby dolls on the market. Made very realistically, with bent legs and chubby cheeks and those little puffs babies have over their eyes....so cute!!

If you're wondering about historical accuracy, I'm by no means an expert; however I believe the coat is historically accurate. The style of sleeve is called pagoda sleeve and was in vogue during the 1850s AND 1860s.

Her dress is beautiful, and so is her hair. Her skin tone is a little too olive for me, but otherwise she's gorgeous. Elizabeth was my first mini doll and I was very pleased with her. She has only one fault: her shoes fall off VERY easily and they're rounded on the bottom, which makes it hard to stand her up. But they're very detailed--I loved the little pearls sewn on top of the ribbons!
ETA: More thorough review: I purchased the doll in November of 2005. She came in a burgundy box.
the Doll: LOVE this doll; she is so beautiful! Her hair is gorgeous, soft blond. Tied with a ribbon in back. The curls, after four years, are starting to come out somewhat. Her little wispies are very cute and aren't saturated with hair gel like Mini Felicity's.
the Dress: Gorgeous dress. Made from a shimmery pink (I want to say taffeta, but not sure) with a brocade insert in the skirt front and tiny seed pearls & bows sewn to the stomacher. I was amazed at the amount of detail in this dress. Tiny ruching trims the front. The lace at the sleeves is real cotton spun lace. Nice.
the Shoes: very pretty, trimmed with tiny pink bows and seed pearls. However, one of the bows will never stay crossways and the shoes have a great tendency to fall off, as stated above.
the Stockings: nice quality stockings, soft cotton. Exactly like Mini Felicity's.
the Shift: exactly like Mini Felicity's, again. Thin cotton, velcro.

Molly is probably the least favorite of my 5 mini dolls (the others are Mattel Felicity, Elizabeth, Samantha, and Nellie). Her sweater was made way too big and so she looks chunky in it. Her bangs will NOT flatten and her glasses fall off very easily. Her shoes and socks are cute, though. Overall, she's a very adorable doll, except for her sweater and bangs.

I don't have this outfit, but I have to say that although it's beautiful, it's completely historically un-accurate. Especially the eyelet lace. But it would make a wonderful gift for anyone who isn't interested in historical accuracy. (Which counts me out. )

I got this doll in 2000. I love her eyes. She's very pretty. I was thinking about getting her rewigged because her wig cap was showing, but then they retired her and changed the wig.
